It would have been better if the damn wasn’t breached over the top. The water level should have stopped before it reached the top of the damn so we could observe how the damn holds up to a high water level.
one of the few times the dam hasn't actually just collapsed. the water had to rise all the way to the top before the other side started really filling up.
I like how one of the two lego men who are still standing is one holding a mug. It's like he's just enjoying the world around him being destroyed without a care in the world.
I remember watching vids like this all the time. The anticipation of waiting for that bridge to collapse is unmatched, and that's coming from an avid horror fan lol
Technically, the damn did work because all a damn it’s supposed to do is hold water or Redirect it it held its ground until reach the top, where it physically couldn’t hold it anymore and there’s nowhere else for the water to go
Imagine what that guy stuck to the bottom must be experiencing. If he wasn’t instantly killed than he’s drowning in a torrent of rushing water pined under pounds of sand.
The town fell before the wall and its guards fell! Duplo Cadia stands! I think that if the gaps in the sides and bottom are patched with something so that the water only faces the wall, it might hold up all the way.
It would have been cooler if you filled it to the edge, cut the water, then did a fast forward to see the water gradually wear things down. The fact that it held until the water overflowed makes it seem like a success, not a failure. That being said, seeing the water sweat out between the bricks made it seem like it would have burst .
As the first dam breaks, Olaf witnesses how he and some of his co-workers gets burried alive. The stong floods ravage and kick the sand and pieces in many directions. Olaf survived the clash with the giant wave and the falling bricks. Seeing the corpses of his friends levitating through the dirty and dark murky waters, he looks up at the surface. Having hopes, on making it out alive, Olaf tries to swim up, with the little breath he still holds in his lungs. But Olaf learned, that his fate is already sealed. Being stuck unter the sand, and having his legs stuck between two stone bricks, all he can do is struggle. At some point, Olaf yells in pain and suffer and his lungs get filled with the cold and dirty waters. Still being in shock, Olaf looks up one last time. Seeing how the entire dam is underwater... He closes his eyes and accepts his fate. Everyone he knew will die soon as well. And afer time, Olaf became one with the ocean. Slowly decomposing and being food and a shelter for other small sea creatures.
Wow, ok, but make a dam that is built to stop the water and redirect it into a river to be taken away!!! Then increase the water to the point the dam can’t take any more
The question we were all wondering but nobody had the balls to ask: Why is there a bald convict with sideburns and an evil grin wielding a fencing foil?
Gah! Why do I keep on clicking on these videos!? (Because you would’ve loved to have done all of this with your Lego when you were a kid) But I’m 52 and a half years old now! (Watch the videos. Watch them all…)

This is properly one of the most strongest builds with sand you have done
Yes. Thank you
Correction : This is probably one of the strongest builds you have done.
@@OPLeeAnimationsIsStinky to be fair properly still fits

😂
That first wall breach was surprisingly morbid
That's insane how much water lego and sand could hold back
It held pretty well
Can we all appreciate the hard work he put into this just do flood it?
🙏Thank you

3:36 water helped prisoner to escape LOL
:)
The person in gaol could've escaped when it collapsed, because they were still standing while pretty much everyone else had downed. Lucky break.
the fact that the prison just fell and everyone else fell into the water and the prisoner was the only one left.
Prison time made him a hard man
Best prison escape movie ever.

Cool that the wall didn't fall over, though it did leak plenty!
Held up better than the South Fork dam in 1889
Like your castle wall ❤
A really strong dam it was only the imperfections that came from the plastic edge.

New idea. Build a circle in the center and then fill up the space around it. Kind of like a colloseum
hmm there is something to this idea

Damn... R.I.P. Olaf 😪 thank you for this touching story ❤
This is gonna be very interesting.
I see they are advancing, just wait until they learn to let some of the water though a controlled flow, then they will make a proper dam.
Impossible to capture the castle. Even if you breach the wall there is a high chance of stepping on some Legobricks, stopping the attack.
The Lego man calmly drinking coffee while he watches the bodies of his drowned colleagues float past!😲
🤣
😂😂
The only failure for this dam was not accounting for water pressure around the edges
best thing i've watched in a long time!
Thabk you :)
But it didn't break. We need Lego dams
Yup. This is why real dams are made with sluice gates and spillways.
I like how at 3:28 the inmate was just 🗿
:)
The castle never fell and the only downside was water proofing on the sides.
Oof, washing all those pieces afterwards isnt much fun.
Soo much...
The dam broke in Lego City!
Hey! Build the helicopter and rescue the people
Ah, the RUclips algorithm. No idea why led me here. But, I now need those little bricks the prison was made of in my life.
Hahahahah
A man has fallen into the river in lego city. Start the new rescue helicopter.
dude if i were your lego people, i'd never want to play with you ever again.

I used to love watching these videos!!!!!
Good your back to watch them
0:36 that poor man digging at the bottom with a red shirt is about to get crushed
I feel bad for you having to clean that up but it's worth it
I like to see how sand crash, in young I was very excited to see this
That red, Lego man is really strong
XD
Great video loved it but can you do one where it’s not filled over the top of the dam cause that’s technically not a dam breach
Love it I can tell all the effort you put in keep it up 👍❤
Thank you Elliot 🙂
Thank you for making it
Thank you for watching it
Where is lego Aquaman when we need him?
Good video 👍
Thanks
Water started running in between Lego wall in back and real background wall... *IMHO*
And that, kids, is why you get the ground checked by a geology expert first before building anything.
I LOVE IT 🤩
Thank you
You need a drain on one side so the two sides can't level out.
The prisoner in the prison is a giga chad
Haha true
How do you clean you lego
I want to see it done
Behind the scenes videos will be available for Club Members ;)
@@BestofDam a yes not so subtle self promotion.
Nice
I wish I could clean the mess up for you but sadly I can’t
Ohhh if only someone would do it for me...
the new version was way great! The lego in the wall holds it up so the water has too get all the way up
Thanks! Im glad you like this new version:)
We need one we're it's just a full sand wall that's tall
Now a moment of silence for all the Lego ppl that died
😑😑😑😑😑😑

Let’s us take a moment to remember the Lego people that were sacrificed for this test 😢
Did anyone else mentally add stock scream effects every time a minifig falls in the water or topples over

That is not bad damm little leaking but otherwise would hold
Cool
