These are fun, but honestly the water is always infinite. Basically enough that the entire box can be filled. Maybe a more finite amount of water that would still cause major problems, and see if it can last against it.

You can see how strong the dam is from the fact it does not break, it stays in one piece but falls over once the pressure becomes too great. Some water comes through the bricks, but more comes under, around and eventually over the top.
Legend has it, that prisoner is still floating in that box to this day. 0:15

From what I could tell, most of the water that got through was from the sides.
Something about these videos always reminds me of the good old days of playing with toys in the tub at like 5/6 years old. Some of the best days of my life was imagining my toys destroying each other in combat only to be lost to cataclysmic destruction of the aquatic variety.

What if you combine a sand dam with the Lego wall in the middle of it. Water is gonna have a hard time breaking through that.
It's unbelievable to me that no one would have raised the alarm and evacuated the area in all that time
Notice 2 thing about this...
1- water is much clear on right side. Are Lego block water filter?
2- All lego people faint as soon water touch their feet
Most of the water on the right side initially was coming in under the dam, passing through the sand substrate. The sand is filtering it, in this case. Even if this sand isn't "filter sand" it's still pretty decent at it.
I see, the problem here was inadequate seal against the walls or floor of the canyon.

The morale of the story is: LEGO dams are unbreakable but are not waterproof and can still tip over.
These are cool but there lacking in destruction, tho most that happens usually is the box gets filled with water and nothing else, what we need is for a dam to rupture or a tower being destroyed

@@BestofDamYes! The water staying on the right side of the tank applies pressure to keep the dam up, if you remove that pressure it'd A be more realistic B would be more destructive and fun to watch

This was so boring. The dam just has a tiny leak and the civilian area fills almost at the same rate as the left half. THIS IS NOT A DAM BREACH it's just slowly filling a tank with water. You will NEVER be the king of dams.

It is cool. But I dont like the fact that the water is infinite. would be better if it is a lot, but stop at some point to really check how the structure resist (or not)
