It looked genuinely distressing when the bottom room was trapped because the bricks were against the ladder and then the room started to fill with water, basically drowning the workers slowly in the dark.
It was terrible..
There was an air pocket at the back of the room. They could have survived long enough to the point it collapsed and made it out
and them seeing the sand on the floor get wet realizing it would collapse soon and they couldn’t do anything
yes omg
@@TheLondonForever00but by that point they were probably in no condition to swim, having held onto whatever they could while the flood tried to drag them through into the newly formed lake.
Can we all take a moment to appreciate how clean the glass is.
I am glad you noticed it :)
Lmao
So clean it looks like a barrier

I love the ones with underground mines or bunkers. It’s cool to see how the water slowly seeps in and then breaks the wall and floods through.
I love making videos like this too. It's harder but more interesting
in any other context the man who made this comment would be sent to a mental asylum
The amount of horrifying deaths in this are crazy
Thank you :D

I can only imagine the sheer terror that those poor little Lego people must have felt during this awful disaster!
This is their job and they get paid a lot for it.
How much?
Yea how much
А этого не случилось, если бы строили нормально
Особенно та женщина которая упала с высоты примерно шести метров
6:50 3 of my worst fears combined:
-drowning
-being stuck in a tight space
-building collapsing on me
its scary how the people inside just dissapeared...
Sorry..
@@KingOfDamsyou don’t have to be sorry its fine
That's why people don't build any construction in pure sand
And then the unexpected music drop
@@silontninja6947hahaha that caught me off guard too. Right when I was starting to get uncomfortable with the eerie music
Everyone seems so calm, especially the guys in the bunker. I'd be screaming and running.
They've been in this situation hundreds of times already :D
In underground mines any unexpected source of water has to be reported to a supervisor whether its a burst pipe or a small drip
They didn't know. They just didn't know.
They are professionals
Sending my prayers to all the lego victims of this small scale disaster 😢

Wow, this is an amazing simulation of what could actually happen in a real life situation if structures like these are not properly built under the safety standards. As an engineer, inspecting the structural integrity of the parts being manufactured is fundamentally important, because any scratch, tear or cracks on the parts, will definitely cost innocent lives in the future. This video made me reflect a lot in terms of safety. Very well done!
Thank you very much! I am so glad you like it, my friend!
Seach for Brumadinho and Mariana accidents in Brazil, and you'll see it happening in real life.
I'm Dutch so I guess we learn a lot about dykes and such at school. One thing I noticed was how quickly the sand of the dam began to "fall". Right away in the first minute it began losing its integrity. That's why it's important to have plants on the dykes. The roots of plants like dune grass keep the soil more compacted, so it stays stronger. This is just a sand hill.
@@CrafTutoriais oh yes sir. It happened in my country and it was indeed devastating to see it.
Also making dams from sand is frowned upon in international Lego standards.
Warning, this video shows real Lego people drowning.

Cool :) Glad you like it
Total disaster movie scene 🔥
Best part of the whole video ngl lol
Have you thought about expanding the setup with a removable wall where you let it fill and pull it out for a wall of water effect? Like a catastrophic dam burst up stream.
Cool idea my friend, thank you!
Tsunami?
my greatest fear is to be in a sealed room slowly filling up with water, getting to live it vicariously through plastic geroge lucas and the astronaut dude was therapeutic
Wow.. :D
One day the engineers of lego city will build a dam capable of surviving the carnage (or they will move away from large bodies of water)
I hope..
they gotta stop using sand and loose bricks
You pay them though.
I enjoyed this one ☺ I prefer the long, slow collapses and watching each part fail over time. Very cool

Damn...i thought the dude on the ladder was gonna make it. Thoughts and prayers to eveyone in the town
I thought so too..
Does anyone else pick a lego person at the start to see if they survive. I thought my guy was gonna live but then he fell into the crack and went through to the other side of the wall. I think he would have died 😢
I always do this too xD
Ong bruh
I do to
A moment of silence for those 2 workers that were able to hold up the roof with their heads for so long on the second floor. True heroes.
Yes..
6:35 I love how the guy on the brick falls and is pulled by the water current, things that sometimes happen in real life.
Vote to make the Goth Boy sitting solemnly beside the carnage a reoccurring character lol
Hahaha, nice idea :D
The switch from creepy music to trap drums was funny af to me 😂😂
The guy on top took it hard to see his friend going down on that early collapse
Watching that water creep into the sand levee is mesmerising as it seeps and trees start falling as the Lego world starts to end 😵💫
The cracks are equally cool, and you see the horror of one poor guy, drowned in sand, then water
Drowned inside their brick house 😱
Very cool
Wow.. So dramatic..
I love how water fill the holes or rooms under or on sand
I am glad you like it!
The big thing I noticed was rhat when water began flowing to the other side erosion just accelerated massively, which reminded me of the Oroville Dam with the Spillway failure, how due to the concrete blocks having gaps it caused water to seep into the soil underneath and due to the volume and force of the water it caused accelerated erosion which led to like half the hill face judt being eroded by water flow when the spillway collapsed
4:49-5:17 That's some serious horror movie scenerio right there.
Agree with you..
@@KingOfDamsthe sound for it made it even more horrifying
Kudos to all the lego citizens who remained remarkably calm during the disaster.
They've seen this hundreds of times already :)
the ominous music over the silly little lego people falling into the water makes this 10x better

King of Dams! You have outdone yourself! The suspense. The multiple layers of complexity and progressive collapse and horror! Masterful

Inquisitive person: why?
Bible: let me go get my legos for a visual demonstration.

Cool, it would be. Funny with sirens and people screaming. Thanks.
You are welcome!
simply amazing the power, beauty and destruction our life needing water brings to this planet.
Oh yes..
Just found your channel, love the mix between diorama and epic blockbuster level chaos.
Do you reuse your materials like the sand and water? My logistics mind went directly to how to strain sand from water and how long sand needs to dry. 😅
I am very glad you like it my friend! Yes, sand and water are reused, the water is collected by hand, the sand takes about 3 days to dry.
Dude same here! Haha

This was more entertaining than a Roland Emmerich film. 😂
Wow.. :)
Only two survivors (lady on top of building and guy in red in the far back on the slope part that didn’t break down). Dang. 😂😭💀

i would love to see a dam with actual plants in it and see how it could keep the dam together with the roots
I will think about it..
One of the best natural disaster movies I have ever seen.
I am glad you think so! :)
Sad for the residents but the beat is sick
I am trying to guess which Lego figure had the worst death. Was it those caught in a landslide and then drowned or the ones trapped underground inside an air pocket that slowly filled with water. I am leaning towards the underground option. 😁
This sounds oddly brutal now. Like “which plastic toy suffered more? YAY!”
@@bipinnambiar Everyone needs a hobby. I just freely embrace my bloodthistiness.

How do you make the rooms inside the sand, without it collapsing on you while building it?
I'm sorry my friend, but this is my secret :)
i think they put the buildings in 1st
He must be building the sand over the base plate
build the room then put sand over it
Можно еще использовать глину в перемешку с песком. Так воде будет труднее вроходить и разрушения будут менее маштабные. Не будет таких больших оползней.
Я согласен с вами, но как потом очистить песок от глины?

Could you do a Dam vs town? And the water slowly floods the sewers aswell making it like a flooding dam from underneath it would be cool, the sewers could be sand tunnels under the house that fill with water and collapse

I legit used to do this in my sandbox when I was a kid - just with small action figures instead of legos. It was a challenge to see if I could engineer something that could stand against the water long-term. Spoiler: I never did. Water is just too powerful.

Yes, congrats too!
Remember folks, this is why the Lord tells us to build on rocks, not sand lol😂😂
:D
Back around the year 1999/2000 or so, Menomonie, WI discovered the downtown lake bank was collapsing into "the lake."
Watching this combined with knowing local history, even with the "fixed" lake bank, I still see portions of the sidewalk above slumping down. I would like to see this type of model built somewhere, some day.
In this case, it's a lumbering-era dam and mill pond on a river thing. Subsequent dams for hydroelectric and other repairs backed up the water a little bit.
The wood dam replacement by a concrete dam that "raised" the "lake" level 10 feet had simple rip-rap to certain spots, like the downtown lake bank, or lakefront. The road above had already been pushed out over the original bluff line, too.
Of course, the river is simply backed up, flooding low lands upstream to create a larger "lake." The private shore lines more upstream are still getting undercut.
The eastern bank of the river is very sandy, almost to the edge of the downtown lakefront.
Even near the old pump house location where the better class built the "improvement association" boathouse back in 1958./1959, that needs rock added routinely as it is pulled down into "the lake" slowly.
This is interesting, thanks
