- President Joe Biden and family arrive in County Louth. His large motorcade passed through many rural communities after his helicopters were cancelled due to weather. Eventually, he ended the day at the Windsor Bar in Dundalk, where he met locals and listened to music.
The President gave remarks on the Good Friday Agreement's 25th anniversary in Northern Ireland before heading to the Republic of Ireland, starting with County Louth.

A friend of mine who is a taxi driver had a run out to the airport on Wednesday evening. He said he knew the President's motorcade was on its way back from Dundalk long before he saw it because he could see all the flashing lights reflecting off the clouds.

I sat in my car on a bridge over the Grand Canal in Dublin tonight at around 7pm because i was halted to stop by the Gardai for this parade ( charade ) It started with Gardai on motorbikes with flashing blue lights and then eventually the big flashing blue lights of the American beasts sped by. After about 15 minutes of this convoy i was waved on. I was only going to Tesco! God Bless America! Slainte.
