I almost bought one of these. Good looking. Seemed like a good deal for the price. Engine left me wanting, but tech and interior design were good. I ended up going with a BMW X3 because it had a lot more trunk space and was zippier. I paid for it though. Not sure it was the smart choice, but I needed a big enough space for my dog and he just wouldn’t fit in the Buick.
Take if from me, a 2022 Avenir owner, you would be making a big mistake. The vehicle is made in China, which I disregarded because I had a good Buick Lacrosse before. They cut every corner possible with this car, which is not clear until you drive for a few months. The worst I have ever owned.
@@NothinButCarReviews oh. That makes sense. What doesn't make sense is massaging seats for just the driver not the passenger. Lincoln is ahead of them for similar pricing at a cost save of very little to buick.
@@bradojacko8247in Canada, the Lincoln is more expensive. I was looking at it and I think the Buick is right for me. All I want is a comfortable car for a decent price.
Terrible quality! I bought a 2022 Avenir, and it is the worst vehicle I have owned and I am only at 4K miles. Multiple issues with electrical systems and fit and finish. I have already been at the dealer with this vehicle multiple times, a first for me with a new car in such a short time. This vehicle is made in China cheap, they cut corners with inferior technology and finish issues that are not apparent until you drive it for a while. If I knew then what I know now, I would never have bought this SUV.
@@jewishdabbing Sure. Twice it needed to go in for an Instrument Cluster Warning. Then a Driver's Assistance System Warning showed up. Buick claimed that a rock or some object on the road somehow managed to hit the sensor, which is tiny, but the entire front end of the car was pristine with zero damage. That is a long story in itself. I appealed to Buick, but they told me they cannot overrule the dealer's diagnosis. The dealer had to do an experiment of switching sensors around on the car before they concluded the sensor was hit by something. If the sensor received physical damage, that should have been visible. By them swapping them around, they could have damaged it. Bottom line, that costed me $700 to repair. There has also been a recall issue, which I assume impacted you also that they repaired. In terms of fit/ finish, I was at a restaurant drive through one day while it was raining, but not heavy. A white frosting developed inside the driver's door which I could not clean off. Dealer covered it up with Armor-all or something similar, and noted on the receipt that they "cleaned it as best they could". I also looked into front end collision warning, which goes off when I am not close to anything. My BMX X3 also had the same feature, which I only had go off once during the years I owned the car, when I was merging on a busy highway and cars had stopped in front of me. Automatic high beams go on and off repeatedly at night, something I have also never seen through having that feature other vehicles I owned, and on many rental cars. Most recently, after the snow, I was shocked on how dirty my mats (thank heavens I purchased all season mats) got. I couldn't figure out, until I was at last trip to dealer. Then, standing away from the car, I could see how filthy the molding was at the bottom, which allowed the mud to seep into the car. I have seen other people mention this issue also in their reviews. I have pics of some of these various issues, but I don't know how to load on RUclips. So, at best the quality of these cars is inconsistent from vehicle to vehicle. I have another vehicle, and I am so disgusted I am hardly driving the Envision now. Ridiculous for a $47K vehicle!
@@davidw5731Thanks for this review. My husband and I are awaiting a Buick Envision and I'm having second thoughts due to them being vague on if all the features will be present in it upon arrival, plus the smaller cargo area. I'm seriously thinking of getting a Toyota RAV4 or Subaru Forester since they offer more space at a significantly lower price point and seem to be more reliable.
@@Theescapist_87 Did you make a decision? I drove a Forester and was disappointed by the amount of noise in the cabin and the lag of the CVT. I also drove a Rav4. It was decent, but the cabin was too small for me.
Does this vehicle have the "Phone as a key" feature? Meaning, as long as you have your phone on you, you don't need the key to unlock or start the vehicle? I also wanted to say THANK YOU. This was a very good and simple breakdown of the vehicle and based on it, I'll make my decision.
Bought my wife this 2023 version. She absolutely loves it! This is one nice SUV! Loaded with everything!
Dang. Buick came with it this time I see. Impressive. Great review also!
Tanks ma’am! 😊

It's crazy that the Envision Avenir looks more premium than the Cadillac Xt4
I always interest vehicles & I should buy this.
Beautiful suv! Will definitely consider for my next purchase.
I'll be getting mine soon.
Yes, a beautiful vehicle, you’ll love it!
Enjoyed!
My dream Buick SUV! Amazing video bro.

David W , i have one for a year now, decent miles up to now and it is an excellent car... Sad to see you had a bad experience
I'm wondering why some owners are reporting poor ride quality. Is there a big difference between the Avenir and the other trims regarding that?
No, they all ride well in my opinion.
Does this have massaging seats for both passenger and driver or just driver?
I don’t think so….
Driver only for my 2022 envision avenir.
Driver only ! I have this car :)
I Rather buy the mitsubishi outlander. It's packed with tach and features.
Ok than do that
Why would an avenir not include heated and cooled seats? Isn't it the top of the line?
Yes, I think it just needs the retrofit after the “chip shortageL

My 23 has heated & cooling seats. Just got it new 11/10/2023
Love this car. Top of the line. Buick did a great job on this one.
Horse power?
228 hp

Sorry you have been having these issues. 😔😔
Again, i have no issues on my end, and in canada at low temperature and frost zone, never had any issue... Care to share these issues ?
