Aniket Amte son of Dr. Prakash Amte is the third generation of the Amte family serving the Lok Biradari Prakalp started by Baba Amte.
Aniket, an engineer - has joined their father’s work. Baba always said ‘responsibilities are not transferable’, so we came back.” Adds Aniket: “Baba wanted to make Anandwan, the health capital of India. We are working towards that.” - Aniket Amte
Amrut Abhay Bang -
Amrut is a self-learner and did not attend school until the 10th standard. As he was exempted from the oppressive influence of schooling, he maintained a healthy curiosity that is exhibited in his wide range of interests, from music and nature to chess and swimming. He is a voracious reader, with a photographic memory, who is particularly interested in physics and evolution. He also writes Bollywood-inspired songs on social issues, from hand washing to employment guarantee schemes. He is married to Dr. Aarti Bang, a NIRMANee who works as a psychiatrist in SEARCH. Amrut is a total- teetotaler and will never say no to a cup of tea!

Wow wow and wow!!! Baba Amte is truly the greatest person our generation has known. And his children and grandchildren have truly carried his legacy ahead. Most admirable . Most outstanding. Such a rarest of rare family. India is blessed to have Baba Amte, Tai and their next two generations. They are AWESOME!!!

आमटे चे कार्य तर अल्लोकीक आहेच पण अमृत तर खरंच नावा सारखा शंभर नंबरी आहे .
महान आहेत असे आई वडील ज्यानी तुमचा सारखी मुलं आपल्या भारत मातेला दिली .
मनापासून धन्यवाद 🙏 शिवाय मझा अकरा वर्षां चा मुलाने पण अगदी नीट बसून सर्व मुलाखत आवडीने पाहिली .
सहज संवाद साधत ह्या मुलांनी जे विचार व्यक्त केले ते किती मूलगामी, विचार करायला लावणारे आहेत हे पाहून फार आनंद झाला.जेवहा लोक बोलता बोलता नवीन पिढी विषयी नैराश्य मत उद्गार काढतात तेव्हा मला नवल वाटतं. अमृत म्हणाला ते किती बरोबर आहे की चूक कुणाची? नवीन पिढीला मूलगामी विचार करायला लावणारी, खरया अर्थाने मार्गदर्शन करणारी मोठी माणसंच जर चुकीच्या पद्धतीने , चुकीच्या दिशेने नेत असतील तर दोष या नवीन पिढीला देता येणार नाही.फार आनंद झाला ही चर्चा, या मुलांचे विचार, त्यांची घडण आणि त्यातून ते करत असलेलं प्रेरणादायी काम, बघून आपल्याला इतकं निराशाजनक मत करून घेऊन नव्या पिढी विषयी हताश होण्यासारखं बिलकुल काही नाही. हे खूप चांगलं चित्र आहे हे लक्षात घ्यायलाच हवं .आनंदजी तुमचं ही अभिनंदन की तुम्ही या दोघांनाही प्रश्नांच्या फैरी झाडून गोंधळ न चालता त्यांना अधिक बोलण्याचा अल्सर दिलात.वेळ खरं तर कमीच पडला . अजूनही त्यांच्या कडे कितीतरी बोलण्यासारखं आणि आपल्याला ऐकण्यासाठी खूपच होतं.तरीही तुम्ही म्हणालात तसं आश्वसत होण्यास पुरेसं होतं.धनयवाद. आणि या मुलांना मनापासून शुभेच्छा.

I really enjoyed interview with Amrut and Aniket by Anand Nadkarni. But I failed to understand the graph of Amrut. From engineering,he went to medical sc and then to Nirman! So what happened to his medical background?

Correctly said. Bang and amte both are froad. 10% समाजसेवा, ९०% पिढ्यांची सोय. मुक्तीपथ उपक्रमाच्या नावाखाली, आदिवासी विभाातील ५ कोटी रुपये, बंग ने स्वतः कडे वळते केले. या अनिकेत आमटे ला मेडिकल फील्ड च काहीच माहीत नाही. पैसे देऊन management quota मधून शिक्षण घेतले.
