Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Last time I visited a farm in the Great Plains was in August 1944, when I was 8 years old. Came across a picture of me on a saddle horse on Grandad Sandy's farm south of Moose Jaw, Sask. I really enjoyed the visit. Over recent decades I've wondered why he did not have even a tractor. Everything from the swather, to the binder to the big hay wagon was pulled by a team of horses. It only took one horse to pull the stone boat but it took two for most jobs. For decades I've wondered why he did have even a tractor. He was born in 1873 and was 71 in 1944 and was not about to change. He did have a late 1920s Model A Ford two door sedan for taking the milk and cream to town for cash money. On Saturday mornings.

For your new vehicle barn, I suggest to do a mix lime in the upper layer, 10% lime and rest the earth on the floor, and will create a harden layer, like concrete. it is cheaper than having concrete floor and better than just having earth like you have now. There is a machine that softer the soil and mixes with the lime. This is use for building highways , as one o the layers is this lime earth layer.

City born, bred and always located in big crowded, noisy cities (not in US), but I love watching real farmers produce the stuff I get from the big city supermarket. Cliche I know, but you don’t grow, I don’t eat! I especially like watching when it’s a great family outfit like yours. Jealous of your kids driving that big stuff. I prefer the old camera. The new one while it has good picture quality, the autofocus is struggling in a few areas. As well as the color looks mildly different in certain areas.

So you come to watch a farmer in real time and then you complain about the work that goes into making a modern day farm function. I’m pretty sure this person would not put in the long hours that it takes to put food on our table. Keep up the good work Zach, I know myself, I keep coming back and being impressed by how much toil goes into producing the food that we eat. And yes, the new camera is really impressive. Cheers from western Canada. 🇨🇦

It's nice that Simpli Safe let's us know when our shop gets cold, but does it let us know when it gets too hot? (on fire)🔥😅😅
