I rang here when I went to the RWNYC and these bells were one of my favourite rings of the day

Bit of a flashback to these from RWNYC 2023! I loved these. I can remeber ringing the 6 and smashing hand against the font the first time! Must be intersting when baptisms happen!!

It was good fun ringing that bell to a peal a year ago and avoiding the font!

    Boss ring of 8 - I've pealed the back 6 😁

What is there not to like about these bells, a typical joyous light 8, what i can the ultimate wedding bells.
Whilst we all asmire to ring spiced max at the minster, how good it is to ring surprise methods on a truly beautifully sounding 8.
I would love to ring Yorkminster tenor but i wonder whether i would ever pull it the balance. Lol

Sometimes, I feel ringing call changes is better than bad method ringing.

Good anything is better than bad anything! There is always a place for well-struck call changes, especially on an outing...

You are correct, and I admire the way the Devon b9ys do it, from raising to lowering its all about perfect striking.
