@@DarthYoda_123 Definetely not! For me top 5 would be Pelé, Puskas, Ronaldo Nazario. Then Romario and then Eusebio.
@@AllendeEtAl But as I see it neither Pelé nor Puskás nor Éusebio were centre-forwards or strikers. Pelé played in a position similar to Zico's, like an offensive midfielder or a supporting striker. Similarly, Puskás played along Kocsis in the Hungarian national team who was its striker. I have more doubts with Éusebio, but i would say he used to play in a somewhat similar position as them.
@@AllendeEtAl If you meant forwards in general then Romario wouldn't make my top 5, which would probably consist of Pelé, Messi, Cruyff, Di Stéfano and Cristiano Ronaldo. However, as Cruyff and Di Stéfano could be well considered offensive midfielders as they played virtually everywhere then I would swap them for Puskás and Ronaldo Nazario. Afterwards there would be Éusebio, José Manuel Moreno and Meazza before reaching Romario, Müller, Van Basten and Baggio.
@@DarthYoda_123 Definetely you know more about football than me, you have all my respects. However, I consider, as a player in general, Romario better than Eusebio. About Meazza and Moreno, it is for me very difficult to rate them, and I usually don't consider players previous to the 50's when making historical comparisons because there is very little footage and information of them. Not only he had zero time to avoid the resurging gk, he had the intelligence and skill to understand that surrounding defenders at the goal line were approaching, so a powerfull volley was the only viable option. Maybe the most charismatic & skillful striker ever. Elegant and deadly. I can't stop watching his turnaround move, it's like a mesmerising dance move.
