Yeah, it's a great game! I hope I don't disappoint you when I tell you this game's from 2007! There won't be any more updates. There's a DLC, though, which I could play as well! :)

I admire it so much that's why I'm rewatching it again and again. I might play again in the near future. but hope they add more continuing the story line and side stories, and with bigger map and more resources.
I wonder if your betrayer is randomized or is always Kestrel? I'd be pretty disappointed if it was always Kestrel given that she's the most obvious choice.
Well, you answered the question yourself already! When I played the game when it was originally released, one of the two knights you start with betrayed me. I don't remember which one, though. If you watch my playthrough of the DLC, you'll notice that three knights are missing from the roster. I'm guessing that those are the knights that were able to betray you during the main campaign!
I watched your first gameplay video and downloaded the game. Kept getting a uplay error. Looked up the solution on the www and nothing works. My pc specs are far above the reqs.
I played the version of the game available on gog.com! I started it through their starter software, and it ran without any problems. Therefore, I probably won't be able to help you with your problem. I paid only around 5 Euros during a sale, though. And thanks for watching my video! :)

Yeah, the later missions take quite some time to beat. I needed almost four hours to beat the final mission of the DLC! XD
the game is wonderful and unique. hope the creators can make the map bigger to like "farthest frontier or forest village.
