Yeah, it looks quite good for an 18 years old game! :D Yes, I bought the game on GOG. I paid only a little bit over 5 € during a sale and got both main game and DLC. The game's max resolution is 1920x1080, though! I had to upscale it to 2560x1440 during recording.

Well, I guess wells still refill once a year during the rainy season. I didn't have any more problems with them after figuring this out! Maybe they just felt that seven knights would be too many, and therefore, they just chose three of them to be in the DLC. I could also imagine that the missing ones are those that would've been able to betray you during the main campaign!

@MichaelJGetsTheJobDone to me, they're just plain dingdongs and i hate micromanaging. One case is that i have 20 free residential slot, not seniors or childrens, and 20 work slots on a research only done that i build above a research site that's relatively far away from my main area I set up shuttles, filter both domes and not a single scientists moved from the main dome onto the research dome. I also set the first dome to not accept scientists. It said "No shuttles avaiable" while the fact that there's 12 idle shuttles that I've set to passengers only. I fed electricity and fuel, maintenance is good so what am i doing wrong?

@MichaelJGetsTheJobDone and there's no limitation options for Colonists, unlike resources so everyone is just pouring on domes that i don't want them on. Or I'm a whiner and i haven't fully understand the game yet idk.

Haha, you're absolutely right! This was my first time playing the game! And furthermore, I drank some beer while playing it! This video's from way back when I didn't take the RUclips thing seriously. But the video got half a million views, which is incredible for a small channel with only 8000 subscribers, isn't it? I replayed the game later on and recorded an amazing playthrough. I explored all biomes, I found all blueprints, secrets, notes, I scanned literally everything. And on top of that, I played the full game on hardcore mode! Trade was the only sustainable way to get stone without mods.

It's been 11 years since Banished was released. Unfortunately, we never got a sequel! Yeah, that's why I build neither quarries nor mines. I get my stone and iron solely through trade! :D

Haha, that's a funny coincidence! More so because I actually tried to post the video the day before! The processing of the video on RUclips just didn't finish in time! XD But since you just watched my previous playthrough, do you know why I needed a whole hour longer to reach a thousand citizens this time? XD Also, I turned off weather effects as requested! :D

@MichaelJGetsTheJobDone I noticed the lack of weather effects and sent many kudos your way. This playthrough was less efficient than last time. Previously you built up the marketplace squares and all the surrounding buildings. You then copy/pasted the design over and over. This time you didn't build the marketplaces as soon, and I think it diminished the overall productivity of your Bannies. And very unlucky trading posts not bringing stone soon enough! Still, a great playthrough and a great game

I played the Colonial Charter mod once. Unfortunately, the respective video didn't go well. Are there any mods in particular you would want me to play with? I'm asking because the beforementioned one is the only mod I ever played with. Therefore, I don't even know what could be interesting!

I admire it so much that's why I'm rewatching it again and again. I might play again in the near future. but hope they add more continuing the story line and side stories, and with bigger map and more resources.
