I don't think people truly understand how toxic Hollywood can be, and how Fame impacts the psyche. especially as an adolescent who isn't fully developed yet. People are so quick to judge without much understanding of the situation. I wish the best for her and her family and am happy she has found that part of herself that has been missing for so long. she seems alot happier and healthier now.

Teresa - I 100% agree with you that Hollywood can be (and usually is) very toxic. You know how I kept my kids from being "Toxicified" by Hollywood? I didn't send them there! And guess what? They haven't grown up wealthy and famous - and confused and sexually harassed, nor drug addicted, alcoholic, suicidal, falling out of cars and throwing up on the curbs of Hollywood and Vine, losing their kids in court battles, going through nasty, acrimonious divorces, etc etc etc. No, instead they lead these boring lives where they work hard, are very happily married, they get along incredibly well with their parents, spouses, and kids. If, in the end, we just want a life filled with contentment and happiness, it's better to work on the way we are as people - instead of working on how to please people (The Star System) creating a "False Impression" as to who we are to the public, and to ourselves - all to the Selfish End of making ourselves "Worshipped, Adored, Famous, and Rich". People have been going through this same thing for thousands of years, and still now thru Hollywood - and yet they REFUSE to learn and therefore are condemned (self-condemned) to making the same tragic mistake over and over again. Continue to watch as the next batch of young hopefuls line up to become famous people - with the same self-destructive end. There might be a few that survive it - but precious few.
Rue Stahl I don’t think a kid would know that. She was very young when she started this Disney role. A lot of kids dream about being an actress or a pop star. I also wanted to be a singer and live in Hollywood but now I’m old enough to understand what a pressure it would be and why I wouldn’t like that. If it was a 20yo and a 25yo who would care? Or 18yo and 23yo. It's really not a big deal and I know many 14yo dating guys that are 18yo or 19yo.
