@flying-mbm: These really very very beautiful upfolded wing-tips will be called "SHARKLETS" and alone such a single "Sharklet" is 2 metres high. Veray GIGANTIC sight!!
PW make low bypass turbofans that emit a sweet sound such the JT8D on the mad dogs as well as the first generation 737s and the F135s in fighter jets though.
WOOW!! Very deeply I love it to see that across the big pond, in the U.S., more and more U.S. airlines will replace their partly very old MD-80 (Mad-Dog), B767- and 757 fleet with our newest Airbus single-aisle planes, manufactured in Hamburg-Finkenwerder (Germany) In my opinion the new "AA" livery looks very great on the Airbus fuselages.
You notice the plane sounds different than the A320neo's with the PW1100G engines. The LEAP-1A engines has a very distinct whine you don't hear on the PW1100G's.
Honestly, those CFM LEAP engines sound *WAY* better than PW GTFs found in Delta A21N. American didn’t put seatback screens in their A21N is a terrible move 😒
You are correct if you want something that it has the same engine and beat a PW A321-271N at the same time fly to HKG you'll find a Cathay Pacific A321-253N. That way you gain a personal TV screen in front of you and the same time beat an A321-271N like DL. At the same time beat Philippine Airlines/Cebu Pacific RP-C9930-RP-C9938 RP-C4118-4128 fleets which are A321-271N like DL versions.
Those JT8Ds are basically fighter jet engines modified for sub sonic flight. That sound that is pure music with that screaming of the 2 stage fans in each engine and that high C buzz saw and fighter jet like exhaust rumble. Throw in a Pratt and Whitney pure power core to replace the original core and add intake dampers and a jet nozzle on a JT8D as well as change the fan blades geometry to twisted composite blades and using more modern materials for the IP blades and LP turbine with lopping off 1 stage it would be the perfect engine for a sub Mach 2 supersonic 50 passenger airliner scale it up enough it would only need 2 of these one to one bypass ratio beasts instead of 3 or 4.

lol
i doubt they would turn on the autopilot 10 seconds into flight, they were probably hand flying for at least a few minutes
@therealhax that is true but some pilots are lazy :P
@@marvick291 that could also depend on airline SOP doesn’t it?
I've been watching videos of older jets like 727's and DC-10's take off and it's amazing how much quieter planes have gotten in just 20 years.
Wow, didn't know it was possible to hear buzzsaw on the NEO!
Hopefully more people buy the cfm
It’s possible! Amazing.
The pw1100g has one but it's veeeery tiny, barely audible, not even cameras pick it up
@@hotshot4512 I never heard it in person either.
@@srinitaaigaura yeah maybe at climb, farther in when the thrust gets higher maybe you can hear it but even on takeoff you can't
That's why neo aircrafts are fuel-efficient
That is raw engine sound! Sounds almost like a 757😃👍
I was thinking the same thing! Sounds very similar to a PW2000
@@eardestructioninc.4928 no not really it sounded like the GE CF6
Beautiful wingview, so awesome to see the engine spooling up after pushback 😍
Yeah the sun was at a perfect angle too! Thanks! :)
@flying-mbm: These really very very beautiful upfolded wing-tips will be called "SHARKLETS" and alone such a single "Sharklet" is 2 metres high. Veray GIGANTIC sight!!
That sound when taking off 😍🔥
I can really hear the bass, the vibrations of those engines.
I flew on one of these for a Red Eye flight and it was a BEAUTIFUL PLANE!!!!
She sure is!
Nice wing view! I keep forgetting AA has the A321NEO. :)
Yeah I was lucky enough to grab a flight on one! Thanks! :)
Now that sounds a lot better than the PW
PW make low bypass turbofans that emit a sweet sound such the JT8D on the mad dogs as well as the first generation 737s and the F135s in fighter jets though.
Awesome shot on this PW engine
Close that's a CFM LEAP-1A

Markus Schult I think most of them will come from airbus us plants then Europe
I love Airbus ❤
Me too.
I love Boeing ❤️
spooling down before the end of the runway :)
13:11 it’s like a VTEC crossover sound
When I flew one of JetBlue’s neos it made a buzzsaw
I love Airbus !!
Sounds like GE CF6 used on B767-400
Late at night, getting drunk, getting on RUclips, and here I am. Lol😂
Happy to have you here!
Amazing engine view! Enjoyed watching 21:20 is so beautiful
Sure is! Thanks! :)

Also there is higher inherent reliability for non geared turbofans.
@@davidperry4013 That was true a few years ago, but Pratt & Whitney has made the engine much more reliable in more recent years.
PW1100 also makes a whale noise
Wow, I absolutely love the LEAP's! Great video
You know these are PW1100
@@PM-mt8ph No, these are the LEAP's
The leap engine sounds so much better than the pos pw 1500

The time before the 2020 Travel Armageddon.
Une très belle vidéo. Bravo.
2:20 represents operating the cute A321neo :3 as a cabin crew woohoo 💪❤
I’m getting on an Alaska neo in March interesting startup can’t wait to hear it whoever was coughing shouldn’t be aboard lol
Twas before Covid-19 so I thought nothing about it at the time!
😍 sounds like a ge-90
Yeah they both have that awesome high bypass ratio! Thanks! :)
Very cool aircraft big engine s
Incredible
Lovely spool up.
12:25. No need to thank me 1:40 (engine start)
Missing out on some bomb start up sounds tho
planesguy correct let me fix that 1:40
These engines are fire why don’t they have a rap career?
"Is that a GoPro??...No..."heard someone say those
These engines take so long to start!!!
It take 3mins
@@jayarias3273 I think that was on the PW Pure Power engine, not so much on the LEAP ...
Looking forward to my first time on a 321neo in about a month!
2:30 so satisfying
I still can’t believe the MD80’s are retired

They’re literally nerfed J52’s they are used in a fighter jet and that buzzes too
Calm video
Take off from inside like Boeing 757-200
Something no one has said : Spirit and Ryanair are top 2 airlines
What is the engine?
Edit: nvm it’s the CFM LEAP
CoyDog790 the best engine my opinion
It's a cool looking engine imo, the main fan blades have a almost futuristic design with the angles on the tips of them
They also sound better than the IAE. But the RB211 still remains king
12:26 Damn they put that thing at full toga 💀
In plane before takeoff: coughing
In chess before game: coughing
what engines do these have?
2x CFMI LEAP-1A33's
It ain’t no 757, but it’s better than nothIng.
You can barely hear the engine buzz of this particular aircraft
The NEOs are too quiet imo
The engine sounds like a ge air conditioning
are the engines cfm engines
CFMI LEAP-1A33s
planesguy my favorites
GROWLLLLLLL!!!!!!
Cfm engines
PW1100G or LEAP1A?
LEAP-1A33
The NEO!? Awesome! Although I’d prefer Boeing even though they’re being scrutinized.
I'll love any aircraft I get to fly on! Thanks! :)
NEO!
8:12 another plane lands
You mean the United taking off?
