I hadn't walked up into my dad's apartment/flat in over a year until yesterday. And the amount of nostalgia i felt, from the lighting, the stairs, the elevation as i walked up to the smell, gave me so much gosh darn nostalgia. And then in the next 30 minutes my dad said he's thinking of selling it off after coming back home as he's been going overseas longer than he's been home. Which made me sad 🥲 The wave of nostalgia made me attached to the place. A place i went to so many times growing up.
I have something similar! I was 3 years old when I left China. I'm 30 now and went to China last month to see the unit again. Immediately all my childhood memories were slowly coming back. The only thing I don't remember was the bathroom. XD which was probably a good thing because the toilet and shower were right next to each other. I also went to my mom's childhood home too but was sad the photos they kept are destroyed when we found the photo albums.
@@annm3064 yeah my family wants to see this movie but I saw the scene with the mom telling her things are changing and now I honestly don't want to go see it because I feel awkward since I'm a 13 year old right now. And I kinda feel embarrassed..
Hopefully it's puberty in general, not just focusing on Periods like in Turning Red, they just focus on well emotional changes because... Duh it's inside out 2
Nostalgic is my new favorite emotion.. not only cause it’s a chance for bing bong.. but just in general such a amazing idea and such a lovable character
Real. People are either too embarrassed to talk about it with their kids or they, for some reason, think it's inappropriate for their kids to hear about even though they'll eventually go through it themselves. So, I'm glad we have movies and tv shows that are trying to solve this problem by normalizing something that should already be normalized.
I can only imagine the disgust on the reputations of many large production companies once people actually make a film of male pubertyㅡ not that it is disgusting, but many have gotten used to hearing about children getting their first period more than their first erection.
Okay. I just have to say this. Every single thing that the mother in turning red did/looks like, reminds me of my grandma. Except my grandma forced me into the other thing for puberty stuff. 💀
I love how not only is nostalgia an old lady, like the ones that might tell you stories of there time, but she’s wearing little glasses that are rose tinted, actually adorable
And I have a question, has anyone else noticed that joys eyes are the same as her hair, sadness has her skin color for eyes, embarrassment has pink eyes, matching his skin, fear with purple eyes, his color, (purple guy of sarcasm, idk how to spell his name, has purple eyes and his skin is purple), envy with teal eyes, matching skin color, but Anxiety has green eyes, and she’s orange? (Sorry for long explanation!)
Dude, I had talks about puberty since my girl was 8, and my boy is starting to get curious about things too, also 8. I think 8 is a good number to start explaining things slowly to your kids tbh, teach them why periods happen and what they are for/how they work. I really wished that I was prepared for all that when I was younger… instead of thinking I was dying when I 1st seen all that blood… and all the emotions I would go through… would have been nice… lol… but yeah, if your kid is asking questions, give them the answers, and I don’t mean you have to go into an in depth explanation of “where babies come from/how they’re made” simple answers will appease them. If they are asking the question, they are ready for the answer. Trust your kids a little bit more. Even if you don’t think they’re ready, would you rather have them have the knowledge passed from you or do you want a friend of theirs tell them, in said case maybe something either completely outrageous or complete misinformation (like a magic bird that delivers your baby) 😂😂😂 kids are much smarter than you think/give them credit for sometimes
I got something to tell u guys that I don‘t think anyone noticed before (If yes, tell me :D) So, When they are at the „sarcastic fall“ (idk how it‘s called in english) we all know that the broccoli was falling down the waterfall. First, we thought it’s going into the nothing. But later when anxiety bring the orange memories down to the personality memories (I don’t know how that’s called an English either but you know what I mean) we see the broccoli. So what I’m trying to say is the core emotions could just have gone with the broccoli and they would have been at the elevator for the centrum again without all the chaos. But they didn’t. I was so mad when I realized it😭
Guys ummm like since Riley just hit puberty and got new emotions how come her mom doesn't have those emotions because she hit puberty already❤❤❤❤ no hate to movie tho❤❤❤❤

The girl who did this got their hair stuck in the train track when she was about to get up. She died that day and her friends just laughed and took a picture of her head.
