Duude! I’m loving it. Replaced a 15 year old Sharp LCD “dumb TV” … with all the features, its amazing! Im finally on the 4K Bandwagon and can take advantage of all the major modern niceties! I’m very impressed with it. Sure, its not an OLED but compared to what I had, with the MiniLed and QLED features it kinda feels like one. The colors and imaging are awesome! Haven’t tried my Xbox Series X and PS5 consoles yet. Im sure they will do great here!
I got the 55" for $530 + tax at Best Buy. I upgraded from the TCL U5Q. WAY better software. And the Mini-LED is unreal. I especially love the Gaming mode for easy adjustments. Good work Hisense!
I "found" this TV a couple days ago, checked some written retailer reviews and bit the bullet. Now, today I remembered... wait, didn't Joshie get one of the U7's? Ran to re-watch the video. I bought right! 🙌
I have never used the u8g so I wouldn't be able to tell from experience. But the U7K is two generations newer so the possibilities of it being better are high
I currently have a 50" Panasonic plasma that's starting to go. My concern is the viewing angle. My Panasonic doesn't suffer from fade out as you move off the side. How is this TV? Thanks.
I bought one and I would have to disagree with "fairly well" - the viewing angle was awful. I returned it. When looking at the U8K model at Best Buy, that didn't suffer as much.@@Josh_Quinonez
We have a 8+ year old 47 inch LCD in our bedroom that has much better viewing angles. The UK8 model seems much better but does not compare to a plasma or OLED@@stjepanivankovic2827
Viewing angle is not horrible but it looks so good straight on that is the only place you want to sit. I am returning mine for an OLED because I too had a panisonic plasma and didn’t realize how much I appreciated viewing angles.
Only issue I have with Hisense is their QC. That's really only something you find out if you dig a little deeper. In short Hisense's QC sucks. I've read and seen so many stories of people getting bad panels from Hisense and having to return the TV. And sometimes the replacement they get is just as bad. Digital Trends (I think that's the channel's name) did a first impression of the U8K and they got a bad panel and had to contact Hisense for a replacement.
I’m torn between the U7 65” or the U8 55”. That fits my budget. I am not getting a soundbar, which one has better bass and sound? I’m stuck at which one is the better option. If the U7 sounds better I’ll go with that because of the bigger size and better bass. Can someone please help that knows if there is a difference? Which would you recommend? Thanks!😊
@Paghmani1sher me sat here having just moved from a house with my housemates 75" samsung 4k LED TV, on my couch watching my old 32" HD Ready TV all day and not even missing the 75" 😅. Think 55" will be plenty for me. The couch is plenty close enough and I'm not paying the stupid prices for the higher size and definitely not getting a basic LED just to have a bigger size. To each, their own. I'm usually watching things on my 27" QLED curved gaming monitor anyway I'm easily pleased 😁
The last time I saw the TCL Q7 was back in January at CES. I remember it looking amazing but I haven't spent any real time with it. As for the u7k it is a great TV and I can definitely recommend it just based off of my experience. I don't think you will be disappointed with that. A link in my description if you're interested 👍
Thank you so much, moving and I need to buy another bedroom tv. Wanted something full array without a huge price tag. How's the viewing angles? And I don't plan to wall mount it most likely so how stable are those legs? Thank you in advance :)
@@Josh_Quinonez I guess 4k movies aren't supported then I assume? I know some of them are compatible. I been having this issue where only physical disks are over exposed and not sure why
They haven't even been out a whole year yet. But I would hope so and as long as they're properly taken care of, I'm sure they will last a good long time.
@@Josh_Quinonez Josh thanks for these honest reviews. No one can predict longevity but I really believe if a person can live with less brightness (80%or less) it adds to TV life. That is why I am debating the u7k vs the U8k: I could really knock the u8 down in brightness and still have a nice picture. As far as the picture I can only tell the difference if they are side by side. Since I am just a tad less than 1M years old these nuances are hard to see.
@@dogsplantscarsneatstuff176 Pah, you young pre-1M Y/O whipper snappers think you know everything these days 🙄. Back in my day we used to stand atop the mountains and throw stones at the Pteradactyls to pass the time, no need for all these shiny gismos...
Bought this tv 13 days ago and my experience has been awful VRR flckers bad on xbox series x and it has horrible vertical lines all long the screen you can notice when playing games or watching tv/movies going straight back for a refund
So what are your thoughts on the Hisense U7K? Let me know! Thanks for watching!!

Haha nice!
I have this is my walkout basement absolutely love it after a week of letting it break in.
Bought this one on black friday for 399 euro's in Belgium ! Awesome deal so happy with it !
Awesome! Enjoy it!
Getting mine Sunday, I thought was only the pro that had a sub interesting 🤔
Which is better? This or TCL C645?
Just ordered a 55 inch U7K from Costco $479 delivered, can’t wait to set up
Wow, crazy offers in US. In UK it still sits at around 800$ for 55”
I ordered the 55” last week, it should arrive in a couple of days
Nice!
How was it?
@@fightlifeuk Pretty good! It’s an upgrade from my other TV (I *really* wanted FALD, and variable refresh rate in Game Mode).

This TV does fairly well with viewing angles 👍

Hello, how's upscaling when for example watching 720p national programs? And how's to compare with TCL C805? Thanks
Hi i am torn between this and the Samsung q80c. I can get them both at similar price's?

viewing angles is very bad.
im in europe and as i see 55 and 65 are advertised as ips panels so they must have good viewing angle
Huh, I wonder why mine doesn't have all those HDR and Dolby presets, I have the same tv

Can you wall mount the 75 inch and would the sub in the back be impacted by being wall mounted?
Subs don't care. Low frequencies are omnidirectional

and you're plugged into the HDMI 3/4?? HDMI 1/2 won't work.

1000 for 75 inch? it's almost 2k here lol,
What is it like to watch sports
Fantastic, bee watching RUclips tv for weeks on it very impressed
Its 144hz it better be good😂
I love it for hockey which you’re not going to find a faster sport.

In no way is this guy speaking too fast for people. In fact, I feel like it's perfectly paced. Sounds like a you problem
Us hispanics tend to speak fast... And if you're Puerto Rican we tend to yell talk. 😂

Just set playback speed to 0.75x. Problem solved.
