  • Changing a persons pattern can allow them to bypass an old behaviour. Our lives are dominated by patterns, some useful and some not so. How can you create helpful patterns in your life?
The pattern interrupt process is beneficial to just about everyone I can think of. However, it is absolutely essential in sales, negotiation and recruitment. It's also really handy if you have a talkative partner too. haha.
How you can to begin to implement the pattern interrupt?
Used in the right way, it can be extremely effective at guiding communication and ensuring that people stay on the right track.
Remember, you can't learn NLP by watching videos, reading books or listening to audios. The only way is by experience and practice.

Thanks for this. Your communication was very clear and concise, but what's more than that, I feel that my intuition was picking up good/friendly/kind vibes from you. This makes it easy to listen and learn, so thanks again!

Amazing. Thank you for sharing. Its not easy for everyone to take the course. They are so damn costly and weird - Meaning that they take a chunk of it and create a course around it. Grateful for your efforts.

Thanks Mike, this is exactly the help I was looking for. I include this kind of approach in my work as a healthy eating coach, but have only done it intuitively so far, so wanted some tips without taking an entire NLP course. Love your presentation style. I’ll sign up for the trainings. Thanks for the generous gift 🙏🏻

Interesting start. I'm thinking of how this could be useful in the classroom for teachers and unruly or disinterested classes or pupils.

My teacher used to shout "Bong........."
It worked a treat. No one expected it. As he delivered it perfectly every time it became a powerful anchor to say to the class to be quiet immediately and face the front.

How do I apply that with a subconscious anxious response like urge to use the bathroom whenever slightly on edge, uncertain or under pressure?

I object to not being allowed to see dislikes. without the total number of likes and dislikes, there is no way to judge the appeal of anything on YT (percentage of likes to dislikes). It's a form of censorship. For instance I think this video is GREAT, but I can no longer confirm that a great majority of others also think it's great, something like 990 likes to 10 dislikes, which is equivalent to a broad 99% appeal or approval rating, which REALLY helps me cut through the for of what's crap and what's info is actually good and more likely to be true.

Pattern interupts do work, best for self employed or anyone who doesn't work for a company that micro manages every word you say on the phone and has there own goofy required scripts!

Seems to me you be better to use their patterns. Because they are going to be more receptive if you use the same behaviors that they are used to.
It seems to me that pattern interrupt but only causes someone to be more unhappy and disgusted with the pattern interrupt
This would make them less receptive to you, no more receptive.
For example I would be annoyed having a stranger asking a useless question asked to me.

      Hi Mark,
      Sorry for the late reply.
A pattern interrupt is a tool which gives you options.
If the communication is heading where you intend the match and pace the experience.
If however, the communication or states present aren't conducive to your outcomes, interrupt it. Causing a break state and effectively an opportunity to redirect to your desired outcome. 👍🏻
      Many thanks
