New video, Ema! I discovered your channel with your teeny tiny tokyo apartment and followed you ever since. I was fortunate enough to go to Japan once and it's a dream. Take care!
Ahh I absolutely loved this video, I feel so chill and relaxed now! Definitely going to be adding that cabin on my list of places to visit next time I'm in Japan! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us always, Japan doesn't feel so far away when I watch your videos 😊
I just can’t stop thinking of how lucky you are for having such an amazing opportunity in your life to live in 🇯🇵 Japan. Have a great day! You deserve every bit of it!💐
I've watched way too many horror movies in my life to be able to ever enjoy a misty cabin in the woods. Put all the calm music over it you want, those misty shots look like potential murder. T_T)
The forest is awesome looking! Peaceful and calm! As a person who's grown up with exactly similar cabins as where you stayed, I just have to point out that it's kinda odd but also interesting how Finnish made cabin fits to a Japanese landscape.
Watching this just really hammers home how much I miss the mountains. I need to visit western Washington sometime soon, I miss it a lot. Living in flat Florida just doesn't do anything for me.
This was such a beautiful and relaxing vlog, thank you for sharing this! Loved the music you chose for it. The atmosphere was so calming and nice and the place where you stayed was insanely beautiful! This would have been the perfect weather for me to go on such a trip, I love it when it's misty and raining. :D
With my job, travel and a lot of people (even socially distanced people) are out of the question right now, and my Japan trip was cancelled. So... I have been traveling vicariously through you and the rest of the TC crew. Thank you! Much love and many thanks from the States!
So relieved you survived all those critters and having to practically hunt and cook your own food like real outdoor persons ! At least there was a bidet. Good video, envy those trains you have there. Here in Canada there are few opportunities for rail travel these days.
The wasp playback was so funny I was crying and drooling, had to watch it a second time and was dying the whole time! Haha so good, right down to the music choice
This video was so realxing to watch, i have an important exam coming up so i'm studying 10 plus a day and seeing this really helped me relax so thank you
Reminds me of a place not very far from where I currently live...well, except the trees are different there. In the spring or fall, there's an area you can visit there (rather far into the mountains), and the view is like none other (on a crisp, clear day, one can see for nearly 200 km). On a cloudy or rainy day, however, you see the shapes of the mists rising in their haphazard forms from the trees below...quite a peaceful place, much as this is.
Oh my gosh! That awesome landscape shots: the trees, the mist, the mountains... It's like they're breathing, letting out steam to de-stress themselves 😳😲 Thanks for sharing this, Emma! It made me feel calm, despite the stress this pandemic brings. Stay safe and more awesome travels! ❤️
This is one of my goals. A mountain jungle in Japan, with a cabin, my girlfriend and a misty atmosphere. Love this video. Thank you Emma for showing me one of my goals.
yay the amazing taylor b!!!! thankyou for being in the video :) we all experienced a fall in the toilet story at some stage in our life :) that caterpillar is so cute! call him garry! rip wasp bee thingy, he got friend zoned :D ...suspicious sausages lols Japan country side is so nice! more people need to visit the country side when they visit japan.
That looked so nice and refreshing. After 6 months of quarantine and barely leaving my house let alone my neighborhood, I rented a small cabin in the redwoods. Then the forest burned on the day I was supposed to go. A 2020 (true) story
No bug is going to spoil the fun when there is such a beautiful scenery and Emma and Taylor B. 👍! Wouldn't mind a longer video with you guys next time.
This looks so blissful. I would have loved to see some more shots of what you got up to! The barbecue looked like a lot of fun and a great chance to unwind.
I'm so glad this video was Taylor B approved. I bet there were dozens of jealous people admiring all your misty atmospherics at the cabin, while they broiled in the Tokyo heatwave.
Definitely very happy and lucky to be able to get out of Tokyo for a bit! I think there was one other group staying at the site while we were there, felt very nice to be away from the city and people 😊
Thank you for sharing your cabin in the woods adventure, Emma! I was a bit triggered by the bugs part haha I live in the city but my apartment is located very near the mountainside so I get a lot of visitors from bugland. 😅
I just watched Win the Wilderness on Netflix, where six couples compete to prove that they have got survival skills to win the deed to an extraordinary home in deep, rugged wilderness of Alaska. It is always in Northern countries how you manage to survive in cold winter environment.
I need an emote or a mask like this 1:04 LMAO! The house and green plants where you were staying at is so green though - jeez I wanna live there LOL - the green, all the GREEN LMAO
Pretty spot. Also that grill makes me think of beef teriyaki like we used to make at home or get at restaurants. (That doesn't seem to be so much a thing in Japan, but it's very popular here at Japanese and Chinese restaurants. I sometimes wonder if it's one of those things people came over here and either invented it for this market or just found we really like it. Cause we do. It took sushi somewhat longer to catch on, it seems. :)
What a lovely getaway 😍 Im also an arm flapper when it comes to wasps 😅 Just came back from holidays on a Greek island where I encountered too many of them, it was really stressful 😅
hey toki doki, thanks for sharing your adventures with us! How do you book these types of cabins and where was it? Just curious to plan some of our own day trips.
“We are here to make mistakes, and just... have fun” I like this attitude! 🖤
2020 be like this quote
I was about to say that! wise words to live by
Alternate title: we bbq a bunch of things we shouldn't 😂
All was worth it for those grilled cookies 😍
ビビキュ!!!
(Including wasp) 🐝
trains in countryside of japan really feels peaceful 💕
"Don't use your hands, Taylor!"
"It's all I got!"

AAH-

Take care!
Damm i love empty trains specially around mountains with a foggy weather :p
I love these vlogs, now more than ever, it gives the glimpse of Japan that not many people see or visit when going to Japan.
LOVE THIS. I'd love something like this. Just a natural setting along with a pal...
Packing some beer wherever you can. Now that's Australian :D
Gotta be prepared! 💪🏻🍻
Or a German thing 🍻
Or an English thing too. Goes to show that beer is one thing that unites us all 😁
I wanna join too. Sounds like a Finnish thing as well 😂
Ahh I absolutely loved this video, I feel so chill and relaxed now! Definitely going to be adding that cabin on my list of places to visit next time I'm in Japan! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us always, Japan doesn't feel so far away when I watch your videos 😊
The cabin is a super refreshing place! And they speak English too 😊 thank you for watching my experiences too ❤️❤️
You two are ADORABLE!!! Looks like you had a great time. I couldn't imagine two more fun friends to "cabin" with. Thank you for sharing. 😊
I just can’t stop thinking of how lucky you are for having such an amazing opportunity in your life to live in 🇯🇵 Japan. Have a great day! You deserve every bit of it!💐
Wow the mist makes the scenery look even more beautifully haunting

haha same thoughts.
Glad I never got into the horror genre. I'd have missed out on all that "mysterious" serenity.
It's Japan! Safety galore :)
@@Nynke_K but also many yokai about ;p
The forest is awesome looking! Peaceful and calm!

Empty Trains with that kind of view, that weather, the cabin, the ambiance, nature. This is one of my dreams!
Actually loled at the wasp flying into the fire 😂 rip
Watching this just really hammers home how much I miss the mountains. I need to visit western Washington sometime soon, I miss it a lot. Living in flat Florida just doesn't do anything for me.
Smoky mountains. Road trip.
I used to live in Western WA and this video made me miss it!

it's so beautiful, I can imagine how it can be detoxing when you're living a stressful city life
So relieved you survived all those critters and having to practically hunt and cook your own food like real outdoor persons ! At least there was a bidet. Good video, envy those trains you have there. Here in Canada there are few opportunities for rail travel these days.
It's so beautiful there. The mist adds to it
So glad to see the funk is over! Some downtime to recharge.
The altitude change is real, breathing that thin fresh air!
The whole video looked incredibly cozy. Thanks for the share Emma !
The best camera shots and absolutely beautiful editing
I finally made my way over here and I’ve fallen in love with the vlogging. Never even typed that word before. How fun.
The wasp playback was so funny I was crying and drooling, had to watch it a second time and was dying the whole time! Haha so good, right down to the music choice
All smiles for a new Tokidoki video on a not very smiley day :)
Great video! I grew up in the wilderness and it felt great to be reminded of the peaceful sounds of nature.
This video was so realxing to watch, i have an important exam coming up so i'm studying 10 plus a day and seeing this really helped me relax so thank you

Looks like it was a great time! Camping is one of my favorite reasons to feast, especially when there's a grill/fire :D
Grilled food will ALWAYS taste better than any other kind 👀
@@TokidokiTraveller You are so right and will never be more right than this comment ❤ grilled food, mmmm
Great video Emma, its awesome you two had fun. The area looked great.

So excited to have a tokidokitraveller video bless my day. Looks like fun!
"We're here to make mistakes..and just have fun" is one of the best things you've said!
I loved this video, that place looked incredible, so beautiful

So adorable! This gives me fall vibes 🍁🍂 thank you for sharing 💜
Such a beautiful little escape from the city! Those foggy shots from the lookout...👌👌. I want to live in them.
Cool time lapse shot with the view of the mountains.
No bug is going to spoil the fun when there is such a beautiful scenery and Emma and Taylor B. 👍! Wouldn't mind a longer video with you guys next time.
I can’t imagine. It’s too beautiful there. You’re SO lucky! 🥰🌲⛈
And can’t forget this guy. Had no clue inch worms were REAL!!! 🐛🐛🐛 I use to ride on an inch worm toy when I was a kid in the 80’s 💚
That cabin is so cute! Looked like a fun time 😊
Not gonna lie, half this video looks like it was filmed with a green screen to me. 😁 I guess it's because the scenery just looks too perfect. 😍
That cabin looks cozy AF
This looks so so beautiful! Adding to my bucket list lol
Absolutely LOVE the misty mountains
That cabin is a little slice of paradise. All it needed was a little onsen at the side :-)
Loved every minute of this video. What a way to enjoy yourselves!
This looks so blissful. I would have loved to see some more shots of what you got up to! The barbecue looked like a lot of fun and a great chance to unwind.
Awesome little train, very envious.
Hey Emma! Please don't ever ever change your outro video, it's the best on youtube! :)
Awesome video!! I need the sound of trains roaring by and police sirens to sleep, the soothing sounds of Toronto LOL
Watched this in the early costal California overcast. A fantastic morning start if I do say so myself
thank god for new videos, love your music choices by the by
"Don't use your hands, Taylor!"
That's some merch right there
That worm shot was some National Geographic level stuff. Nice
It’s so much fun when you and Taylor B meets. Love your vlogs 💕
Looked like a nice place. If I ever go back to Japan I want to spend my time in the countryside.
This is the escapism I need right now with stage 4 lockdown in Melbourne :'(
YESSS this is just what I needed this morning! Love you!

Loved all the train shots. Are they all that empty these days or was it just that route?
Definitely get a lot emptier as you head to the countryside! In the city they are still very busy though
Ah! This just looks like a perfect getaway. I miss traveling
That cabin looked soo peacefull!! I need to go to japan one day!
Ohh I miss so much travelling, and seeing this video makes me miss it a lil bit less.
Peaceful af. Can’t wait to camp in Japan

what a beautifully shot video, Emma
such a fun video as always, emma! it looked like so much fun
Ooooh I love the trains another mountains and the woods and the mist! And I have bbq envy :)
Tip when near wasps, hold your breathe around them and just walk away for abit, carbon dioxide makes them even more aggressive
“I just found my ponzu” to the tune of Don’t You Want Me, Baby? KILLED me.
aaaaa that looked like such a beautiful place!! Loved all the scenery and the music it was so chill and relaxing
Awesome place and amazing views
Beautiful place. I would definitely see myself there eating all day and making some music ! It looks very inspiring!
What a beautiful place. I wish I was there!
Yall really out there trying to stumble across a cursed video tape. xD

hey toki doki, thanks for sharing your adventures with us! How do you book these types of cabins and where was it? Just curious to plan some of our own day trips.
Those chocolate filled cookies are so good! I haven't had them since I was last in Tokyo and now I'm on a mission to find them in the UK!
The place is so beautiful 😍 I wish I could travel to Japan and visit this place..
