Edge School vs Northern Alberta Xtreme U15 Prep 2/8 | CSSHL Highlights

No love was lost in the Battle of Alberta in Saturday’s Featured Contest between Edge School and the Northern Alberta Xtreme. NAX would get the early jump on Edge after Kalen Miles (4G) jammed home a loose puck in front for the go ahead lead. Edge would respond soon after with a powerplay marker of their own courtesy of Drew Wilkinson. NAX would restore their lead a couple minutes later after Riley Brown (1G, 2A) wired home his 16th of the campaign. NAX would catch a heater to start the second, scoring three unanswered goals in a span of two minutes. Miles would net two of the three, completing his hat-trick. Tensions would begin to flare up before the ice clean and the sparks would continue to fly in the third. Miles would bury his fourth of the afternoon to ignite the scoring in the third while Remy Koch (1G, 1A) would get one back for Edge in the late stages. Karter Gibson (19/21) made 19-saves to pick up the win between the pipes while Kaidyn Thomas (36/43) made 36-saves in the loss.
