very true! I have seen this pattern a lot in "make money online" courses. Ambitious declarations of "goals" in Facebook groups. Give it 2 months, they are all gone. When things get tough, they start looking for another guru and "method" instead of improving mindset and strategy and becoming an entrepreneur/marketer.

I love this. I don't care for inspirational quotes, but I pinned the Action Faking definition to my bulletin board. Will remind me to call myself out on my own bullshit ;D
There's some many great point in here. The guy who said he'd take action tomorrow should take some action now (in the next 24 hrs). Once I was given a brunch of crap from another business owner for not having a business card, but I have the successful business and he doesn't. Why? Because I don't give prospects business cards, I ask for their number and find out a good time to call them to discuss things further.
I've been an action faker, but now that I understand this, I'm sure to become more of an action taker, which will bring me to success that I never had before.
But we need to understand our pitfalls to avoid them. As well, we need to realize the psychological reasons we shoot ourselves in the foot reaching for our goals. Also, comments sections let us know we are not alone in procrastination and action faking. It is up to each of us to decide how we use the information. Change is hard, but it IS doable. At the gym, look for someone your sex and age who has achieved fitness goals. Talk to them AFTER their workouts and ask for a few tips to keep motivated. Atomic Habits is helping me. Tack on a desired habit to one you already do. Example: do yoga first thing after getting up and peeing. Then positive affirmations video. Your brain is more likely to do something it doesn't have to think about, so make health habits routines. Good luck. PS: I have 3 different sets of business cards, LOL. Old ones I never used except as note cards or bookmarks. 😔

REAL ASS SHIT!!! One of my former friends (emphasis on the word former) owns a "business", if you wanna call it that. He has his bumper sticker with the car magnet and the bank account along with the lush business cards. Unfortunately, his business doesn't do SHIT! He has no idea what his business even is or does, there aren't any clients, and there's definitely no money coming in. To make matters worse, he talks a good game to people but NEVER backs it up. What an action faker.....
TMF and UNSCRIPTED are the best book I have ever read and it has reengineered the way I approach wealth accumulation and in five years I will build my wealth empire , these tools gave me clarity.Many thanks MJ
If you think about it, it actually isn't. It only means that there is a shit ton of consumers and very little of producers. Therefore, less competition :)

Nice, I believe this is the seed to a chapter in his book "Unscripted" which focuses those who are event focused vs process focused people.
That confrontation is what I repeat to myself every day if I want to success: think in process, not events, process, no events and so on.
