Tekton Screwdriver Set:
amzn.to/2gnJvPn
High-Torque Stubby Handles
When you have limited room, the compact three-sided handles make the most of awkward hand positions by giving you loads of leverage to break stubborn fasteners free and extra control to turn and tighten them.
Versatile Full-Length Handles
Tekton Extra Long Flex Head Wrench:Metric, 8 mm - 19 mm, 6-Piece
amzn.to/2gnJvPn
Tekton Extra Long Flex Head Wrench: (5/16 - 3/4 in.)
amzn.to/2hp1Vz8
180-Degree Flex Heads
Smoothly pivoting through 180 degrees, the heads hold any angle to slide onto fasteners. They are free to move with each stroke, allowing the wrench to navigate around obstructions along the swing path.
6-Point Box Ends
Providing a sure, snug fit on hex-shaped fasteners, the 6-point box ends resist slipping off while you work, saving aggravation and your knuckles. To prevent round-off, the openings contact and apply force to the flat sides of fastener heads rather than the corners.
5-Degree Swing Arc
Ratchet gears with 72 teeth require just 5 degrees of swing arc to reach the next tooth position, so they are fast and efficient when there's not much room to move. The teeth of the ratchet gears are cut, not press formed, creating a crisp, precise profile that fully engages with the pawls and can't skip or slip under high stress.
Organized Storage
The Store-and-Go Keeper has a folding handle that saves space in your drawer or tool chest. When you're on the move, the nonslip grippers lock wrenches securely in place.
Features
Box end heads pivot 180 degrees to easily get around obstructions
6-point box ends snugly fit hex-shaped fastener heads and resist slipping off while you work
Openings are designed to grip flat sides of fastener heads, not corners, to prevent round-off
72-tooth ratchet gears need only a 5-degree working swing arc
Includes Store-and-Go Keeper with space-saving folding handle and nonslip grippers to lock in wrenches

I should have listened to you 😨😨😨
Thank you,. Thats Why we are all here, and we dont have all the time in the world..
My god 🙏 thank you 🙏
Not all heroes wear capes
10:35 Trying to tear it free from the packaging while holding a pair of snips in the other hand. Priceless XD
RUclips does it again. I saw this comment while he did it
And he puts the snips doen to
I have that metric wrench set and they are amazing! I wish they had a longer version too
Hey Brian! I really enjoy your channel. If I may make a suggestion, I notice in a lot of them you spend a good portion upfront talking. I understand you want to convey a lot of information/your thoughts but my suggestion would be to break it up throughout the video. Most people come to a video like this to see the tools, combining your information or thoughts while you are talking about the tools would really help the flow of the video. Thanks and keep up the good work!
I really appreciate the comment and the way you explained it! You are very good with words and also offer very good advice! This is a extremely good point and definitely something I need to improve on (and will) in the videos. I have tried to improve this over the years, because I found out early that this is what my viewers/RUclips viewers want. My main challenge in making my videos better in that way is mostly time..... My full time Job takes allot of time plus my family of 5 kids plus my wife, make it very challenging to get kids to voice, soccer, karate, you name it :) I have a very limited time to shoot and edit the videos. Hopefully my RUclips channel will take off and I could do it full time some day, in the mean time I will work on your suggestion and come up with something to make that better... Thanks so much for you advice and support to DIY Bri!
No problem! I understand about not having time to do some of the things you want. I have an new job working 12 hour days, a house I bought less then a year ago, and am getting married in a few months! I cannot spend hours working in my garage. Your videos have great quality and content. I'm sure that once you get to that 20k mark the channel will just explode! I'll keep tuning in, and wish you the best of luck with everything!
Thanks You! Good luck with the new job and congratulations on getting married!
Thank You so much for your input and being a loyal fan! I always look forward to your comments! I will truly take your advice and work on that more....
hey bud i have the matco double box end flex head which is gear wrench i have an issue not really an issue just happens but with lots of torque the ratcheting mechanism freezes i gotta wack it on the ground to free it do u have to smack em sometimes if they freeze or do they not freeze at all thanks bud
Hey man the importance you put on full disclosure REALLY makes me want to watch more vids of yours. I don't care at all if companies send RUclipsr's products to "review", but the thing that will cause me to avoid a RUclips channel is the denial of full disclosure. I appreciate it. New sub right here for that.
Thanks Chase! I completely agree and strongly feel people watch my stuff for my opinion.. And will always disclose my dealings with tool companies if I have made any or not.. It was nice of Tekton to send me these tools to try out..
I have the same Tekton screwdriver set. After some getting used to, I really like the handle design. I think you will find that you can get a lot of torque with out ripping up your hands. I also found the tips are solid and get excellent grip.
A good worker never blames his tools. A good worker understands the quality, accuracy, range, resolution and repeatability of his or her tools and can apply the tool to the situation or repair properly. Some great tools don't break the bank. Some tools and instruments that will offer the better of all worlds may cost more. Research, and planning are critical
Just subbed Bri, nice job!
As a DIY car guy, I'll agree that Tekton are some of the best value for money tools out there. When I made the decision to start doing my own car work 5 years ago, I had no tools and didn't have thousands to spend at once, so purchased pretty much everything from Harbor Freight. Although there are still things I think Harbor Freight does really well, like ratchets and toolboxes, I've slowly replaced almost all of the HF stuff over time. It's crazy to look back at the start of it now, I would've never imagined having a full array of air tools, a bench grinder and vise; I have a pretty decent DIY shop set up in my rented garage.
All of my pliers, screwdrivers, non-ratcheting wrenches, hammers, and files are Tekton now; I absolutely love them. I replaced all my non-complete HF socket sets with Grey Pneumatic and never looked back; they're probably the best tool purchase I've ever made. Also, I've found Gearwrench to be a great value as well, and make up the majority of my wrenches and ratchets.
Keep up the good work Bri, this channel is exactly what I was looking for!
Thanks!
Awesome, I live near grey pneumatic in Wisconsin. Wish they would make make them here too!
I personally own a set of Teckon 1/2in impact sockets both shallow and deep. I work as a service advisor, so my tools are only put to use on the side, I did recently grab a few of the sockets and bring them to work for our express lane since they misplaced a few and well... our techs in the back were getting frustrated having to loan tools for tire rotations. They seem to work well, or just as well as some of snap on or Matco tools they were using and personally i like the finish on them better.
I've been wanting to try out those long flex head wrenches.
Yes
"gosh i just cant part ways with 400-600 dollars for a set of wrenches" as he stands in front of a tool box thats bigger than my bedroom :')
Don't be fooled, this nothing but an infomercial for Teton Tools!!!
@@dragstriprace1255 Yea ! That's the way business works , If I didn't advertise , I wouldn't work. He was totally up front with everyone.
Tekton is going out of their way to make six point ratcheting wrenches. It is significantly less likely to round off and abuse fasteners. There are malevolent tool companies, but tekton isnt that. CHeap tool kits come with all kinds of 12 point crap that beats up nuts and bolts.
Everyone viewing this video should check out SK tools. Every single thing they sell if made in the USA. Their quality is equal to the tool truck brands and their prices are less than half on average. The quality is amazing... They have a new line of pear head ratchets on the way and they have been totally hitting it out of the park lately.
Banshee365 I agree and also wright tools
Banshee365 I have an SK 1/4 socket set and love them, shame no more Tool trucks in my area carry them or warranty them
The SK Tools I have used have been great..
InterFanatic1124 Sears sells sk through catalog. I warrantied a gear wrench flex head ratchet wrench no problem. They will warranty sk and any other tool they carry on the catalog or online. Closest thing to a truck.
i have sk sockets. i would rand them with any other brand. i dont really care for their ratchets
You did an excellent job reviewing these tools
I love the long wrenches that the 9-minute mark in the video, those are great for working on foreign cars like Honda's
Great channel for us mechanical types ! Marine Electrician / Mechanic
Thanks I hope to have some more stuff soon!
I would like to see these tools reviewed after a few months in the shop
10:25 Funny! Who needs Diagonal Cutting Pliers when you can rip the zip-tie with your hand. 😉
Channellock and Tekton are my best experienced tool brands. I only wish Channellock would expand like Tekton has. I really love what Tekton is doing with their 10% rewards on their website when you sign up and free shipping.
nice, I almost bought a set of tekton impacts, but craftsman had a set for the same price that came with a few more sockets. now that was 30% off, so I think I'll grab some 1/2 impact sockets when I buy impact wrench.
I love tekton. They just sent me a new torque wrench even though I told them I was storing it not according to specs.
I just got the extra long ratcheting metric flex head wrenches and they seem nice. Haven't used them a lot yet but I think I'm going to like them. Have you tried Carlyle through Napa? For a parts store tool they are really nice. For reference a carlyle combo set with roll 15pc about $200.
Great video! I’m a young man and I’m starting to see the value in spending a little bit more on my tools
I own the Tekton wrenches and ratchet extensions awesome quality for the money!!
As much as I love a great set of screwdrivers, all I use now is my cordless impact with phillips bits and the occasional flat head screwdriver to pry something.
Great vídeo thanks, try knipex wiha wera gedore very strong and strong 👍👌👏
i use snap on ratchets and screwdrivers but all my other tools are a mix of brands all made in usa like sk, wright, older craftsman, stanleyproto, channelock, visegrip.
also have a set of snapon swivel sockets and a bunch of different knipex pliers.
whats your opinion on sk tools i think there. pretty good.
I like all the Tekton tools I have bought,.good stuff.
Great review again Brian.
+Adeel Cyril Thanks!
def wanna get and try out a set of those long ratcheting wrenches I have a set of craftsman and gear wrench but they don't have the flex head and only one size to a wrench and don't have the length of those. other than amazon what stores carry them ? loved the video and review new subscriber looking forward to more videos
I like the Tekton line of wrenches and sockets. Most of the time when a tool fails is due to the tool not being used correctly. I have had no problem with Tekton. The fit and finish of the tools is great.
Thanks man!
Thank you!
I like the Tekton brand, I have quite a few in my box. Along with Sunex, GearWrench and Channel Lock. None of these brands have given me any issues. No, they are not Snap-On, but I don't wrench for a living. I'll say this, I in framed my Cummins CM-871 in a driveway with a bag full of Tekton, Sunex and GearWrench tools. The motor did not mind that they were not Snap-On or Matco, the tools survived and so did my hands. Very happy with these tools.
Nice review. I own a few Tekton products and they do offer great bang for your buck.
I have the same wrenches you have in the cart,,,,, very high quality
Great Video but I had to laugh when you were trying to break the zip ties on the pliers package and had the side cutters in your hand then actually put them down to get a better grip. Made me think of looking for my cellphone when it was in my hand! Great job.
Hey Brian I have never heard of tekton but I am super curious. I have always used craftsmen or s/k and I gotta say craftsman ratchets have always been problem. I have just set them side as back up. They either lock up or come part on me. I use hand me down snapon ratchets. But I can't wait see what you do with tekton rachets !
*cough cough* Stanley *cough cough* I've broken so much Stanley stuff.. I know I'll get a lot of hate but harbor freight tools are actually really good in my experience. I have broken one ratchet only after trying to remove stuck bolts from a bmw strut. I used a jack on the wrench and lifted the whole car up with the ratchet, it got one loose and broke on another. Now although it broke it still withstood way more than any ratchet was ever made for. they are also waranteed for life, I just carried it in, they told me grab another off the shelf and I was back in business. super quick and easy! but great video! I've seen tekton before but hadn't heard much about them I'll definitely check them out and subscribe!
Josiah H I work on construction equipment and use a few harbor freight tools and they have served me great so far also. I have a set of 1/2" drive impact sockets that I use everyday over my matco and snap on set because they haven't worn out yet. I just had a bunch of sockets replaced from snap on and matco from just normal wear over the years of being used. but I will back you up on HF
381 322 try to get a 30 year old bmw strut off then lmk how Stanley tools are
381 322 but also at my shop we've cracked matco and snap on sockets too. but in my experience Stanley isn't good at all.
harbor freight? no
"HF are really good", that's where you lost me. cough cough.
I work in manufacturing as a setup specialist theres a difference in the large socket and wrench brands I like SK ,PROTO ,BLACKHAWK,KD WILLIAMS BY SNAPON I will try the tekton see how it goes big equipment requires high quality tooling
great channel, thanks
+just a vet Thanks!
My Tekton 1/2 inch impact sockets are very good. Only paid just over 40 bucks for a non-skipping metric and SAE set. I have abused the 21 mm socket almost everyday for over a year. No cracks or chips.
Would you be able to do some kind of strength test with the tekton ratcheting box end please
Hey Brian, I'm a machine operator tech and I use Channel Lock pliers too and one brand I have run into that that the quality is "crazy good" is Knipex brand. They are slightly more expensive retail but their stuff is really good. Oh German made. I'm subscribing to your channel and am a fairly highly qualified DIYer. Keep up the good fight and look forward to watching your channel. Thanks.
Thanks!!!!
Sidcrome Test Thanks for the video
love the Crescent brand wrench sets on amazon they are Crestoly instead of cr-v
What's the difference?
Sadly, I've come to the realization that I don't need all these fancy tools. I just need one that works, just enough to swing by. But for some unknown reason I love watching these videos.
Been thinking about trying teckton actually as well
I just purchased the metric inch combo set that’s this brand that was cheaper from there website than on eBay.
If its a Chrysler or Jeep drainplug its not 13 mm its actually 1/2 inch, I see those plugs rounded off all the time because people dont realize that and they go at it with a 13 mm.
DIY I use Craftsman tools and I never had any problems with them myself when working on my cruze!! I have broken them when I'm not using them on my car lol like tearing shit apart but some time they can be costly!!
11:22 look at both in your hand... What's the difference?... Nice review. ... I have quite a few tekton tools like their combination wrenches and their ratcheting long panel Flex head wrenches which I like very much I think I'm probably going to get some of their pliers here soon...
My tekton 18inch 3/8 quick release rachet is my favorite rachet
Like the info, How about keeping it to five minutes?
We have quite a few tekton tools at work and they work good. I thought they were expensive tools.Boss told me they were very reasonable so when I was in the market for a good set of wrenches earlier this year a bought tekton. No complaints at all.
Watched several of your videos and I've seen that homak stuff everywhere in your videos haha how do they compare to the snap on boxes? I was looking at husky boxes
Homak are not the quality of a snap on box, however they are close in quality of a husky box... I do like Homak better then Husky mainly because they make more of the sizes options I look for
I have heard quite a few people mention tekton tools, people like real tool reviews and tools in action.. They also seem to like them! I dont know if you can get them here in the UK but i would like to check them out! Good video bud.
I have a few of their tools, very good quality for the price! You should contact them to see if they could ship to you.
Thanks!
Savage Garage, a lot of our tools are available on Amazon UK. That'd be your best bet.
The Savage Garage yep, tekton stuff is available in the UK I'm going to order myself some Tekton stuff. Also by the way great channel I watch yours all the time!
Also I recently purchased a torque wrench ( TEKTON 1/2" Drive Click Torque Wrench (10-150'.-Lb./13.6-203.5 Nm) | 24335 )
This is the second torque wrench I've ever owned and by far the best one I've ever owned I did look at others to buy I wanted to try it out!! When it arrived it came in a nice case the looks of it and the way it feels is there a sturdy and made very well!! So end up keeping it and save some money in the process!!
So if you know where is looking for a good torque wrench but decent price I recommend this one
great video!!!!
Nice unboxing video
like this video how about priceing and where to buy???
Best way to test out the tools is real world experience. Choose a repair youre doing on a vehicle. I own a BMW X5 and the Euro crowd can be pretty tight and complex. Would be a good measure of how they perform and work in the actual enviroment. And most Euro vehicles you need to be using 6point sockets. Anything less or cheap and youre rounding and stripping nuts and bolts. So yea I think a repair video demonstrating the tools and their use would be proper. What do you think. ???
hi brain just came across your channel been very interested and looking into tekton tools I'm a diyer trying to learning how to work on my own cars but the tool trucks brands a little bit pricey for me so I will be waiting for your reviews on tekton could you compare them to craftsman or maybe matco wrenches?
Will do!!! Thanks!
I love my tekton tool all my sockets are tekton I have the chrome 1/4 &3/8 and I have the impact 1/2 I also have the metric long double box end ratcheting wrenches and I like them I need to get more pliers and I would like to get a better set of screwdrivers so I will be getting tekton in that also they are great for that weekend garage worrier or that new mechanic
Also my 1/2 inch drive craftsman flex head is a beast . Better then my snapon
I am no professional or expert technician. But from my personal experience, the best advice I could offer to a starting mechanic if they want quality for little money is to scour second-hand stores and antique shops. Some only deal in certain items, but you'll eventually find one that also deals in old tools as well. When you find them it's like finding a brick of gold the size of a cinder block. Your eyes just light up. Old vintage wrenches from brands that either no longer exist or are still being made by a brand that's very expensive. Made back when even a consumer grade tool was built to last.
I've scored wrenches from brands such as Bonney, New Britan, S-K, Vulkan, Proto, and older US Made Craftsman. I've paid between $2 and $5 per wrench but that depends on which vendors table it came from. So far my favorite wrench of the bunch for in-hand feel is my 13/16 Penens Corp Chicago and my two small Proto Challenger wrenches. I've also picked up some old USA made Nicholson files for around the same price of $2 - $5 per file with loads of life left to them. Newer Mexico made Nicholson files start at $7 a file.
You can get an absolute steal most of the time because it's all stuff that people are getting rid of. I priced out Proto wrenches on Amazon last summer from one of their higher-end models and they were going for $600 for a roll-up of 24 wrenches. So I think the $4 I spent on two older Proto wrenches is a steal, even if the wrench line isn't as high-end. :)
I own a few Tekton tools, 1/2" Torque Wrench, impact socket kit & some impact adapters & i would pick them prolly my 2nd choice for price to quality, however the best Tool brand I've come across for price/quality is hands down Carlyle brand from NAPA....yes Carlyle tools are mainly made in Taiwan hence the price but the quality is top notch as good as Snap-on & better then Mac, Matco, Cornwell etc IMOP. plus if you have a need to replace a tool under lifetime warranty then most peeps can find a NAPA around the corner & if they don't have it in stock they can have it delivered to the store in 1 day.
I have not owned any Carlyle tools... Even being a NAPA auto care center... I will have to check them out, always have saw them in the real deals at the shop.. Good to know they are working good.
Carlyle is way overpriced and they don't make a single thing. Every bit is rebranded and NAPA sells it at steep profits not affordable for the individual without an account. Nothing more than another Taiwan brand
I have the same snap on set. The tekton does not appear to have the bolsters. They look robust though!
Can you test them against the SK X frame ratcheting wrench.
Try Wera screwdrivers and go with Knipex pliers!
I will have to check those out!
what you described @ 2:20 happened to me with a Tekton 18mm combination wrench
TEKTON is the biggest bang for your buck. As a tool dealer I don't stock it in my truck but young kids who just get into the industry I don't mind helping them out. I want to make the big sales, but id rather not miss out on a sale or discount my name brands. Also its rare to get the new mechanics who want to pay you $100 week. Ive got 3 on my route but the other 20 young kids are $30-50 a week.
The thing with being a tool dealer is that people dont buy consumables off you so you need to sell them the most expensive/profitable option. When they say they want a screwdriver set you sell them the $179 snap-on screwdriver set with 40% profit margin and make $70. Dont show them the same life time warranty gear wrench set with twice the screwdrivers in it for $85 with the same profit margin of 40% and make $30 profit on the sale.
Cape SIX
Thanks for the helpful information. I’ve been looking for decent tools at a decent price.
I found for wrenches wright tool wright grip wrenches are great.
Nice review. I agree Tekton a good choice for value.
So what do you think of the Felton hands tools after using high quality tools?
Thanks! This is real useful. I am not a professional mechanic. So I cannot justify SnapOn prices. But I won't buy any more Craftsman or NAPA tools. I need to pick something else. So I will be watching your videos to see how these Tekton tools hold up for you.
+Dan Jeffrey Thank you, glad the video helped!
These are Great Tools.
From my experiences. Quality ratchets matter more than sockets. I use a Marco ratchet and I use either a cheap Walmart socket or snap on both really feel the same tbh
This video is like a beauty contest. What I want to know is how well these tools perform in the real world. Over the years I've found out the hard way, when the going gets tough, reach for Proto or Snap-On.
Proto fan here
I have a good one, test the warranty process. Time how long it takes to get a new tool in your hands.
Does he live in that blue tool box?
How do you see what's on the top shelf?
My dad doesn't know much about tools he is just a basic craftsman tool guy but I am 13 and work in my dirtbikes and 4 wheelers myself and he gave me a full Tekton wrench set
Eckspecialy infomercial cool, been hearing about them and been wanting too Seabreeze one
I have always wanted to try some Tekton tools, they look nice. I'd love to see you try them out against the new Milwaukee hand tools, I just got a set of new Milwaukee 1/4" and 3/8" sockets. I'd also like to see you try them out against some of those new Harbor Freight Icon tools they actually look really nice. Good video, that's awesome that Tekton sent you some free tools congratulations I know how nice it is to get sent some free tools. I used to be in a promotional program where there would send me free tools even some expensive ones like some M18 cordledd Milwaukee power tools for me to review and keep and things like that it was great! It was thru Home Depot and not only did they send me tools but all sorts of things they carried at Home Depot, I got some things like a dishwasher, 3 high end toilets, a touch/motion bathroom faucet, a Ring Doorbell that I gave my mom for mothers day since she was disabled and it was hard for her to get to the door quickly, a 4 camera security system, 8 gallons of super high end Rocksolid floor coating for my garage 20 times stronger than epoxy and like 8 times more expensive lol, all sorts of stuff i can't remember too lol. When it came to tools everything from cheap stuff to expensive stuff, I got like a million tool bags and holders and levels, some small things I really liked were a Kapro toepedo level I got that has a 90 degree sight window so you can see the 90 degree plumb vial head on without having to press your head against the wall, and I'm not a big tool belt fan but I got a tool belt system called the ToughBuilt system where your pouches weren't fixed to your tool belt you'd load up different pouches and there would be clips on your tool belt and then you'd clip the pouches to the belt and you could un-clip and change pouches in seconds plus the big pouches had kickstands so you could stand them up when they weren't attached to the belt, now that was a tool belt I liked and actually used I ended up with like 2 belts and 11 pouches I did buy 3 of the pouches myself and I bought rails to attach pouches to the wall which was cool, you can check it out on my channel if you want, Chevy513, I reviewed quite a bit of what I got free but not near all of it and I review a lot of what I didn't get free too. As far as tools heck again lots of storage bags and levels, tapes, lights, Milwaukee hoodie, Milwaukee power tools, M18 mud mixers, M18 1/2" impact a really cool at the time just released M18 cordless drain snake kit to this day that thing is still super Badass. It was one of the best programs I was ever in, unfortunately I lapsed on my reviews and didn't do them in time due to personal reasons and ended up getting let go from the program. Anyways sorry to go on hearing about you getting free tools reminded me of all that, it was a couple years back so it was nice to reminisce lol. Great video and again congratulations on the free Tekton tools, do good video reviews and hopefully they'll send you more Tekton tools or maybe even try to market to other companies to see if you could get some other stuff free, you never know. Good luck bud! 👍
How do u like milwakeee I have the electric stuff not tried hand
@@bretsimpson9890 I have the 1/4" and 3/8" large Milwaukee socket sets and they are awesome, I've had Snap-off and Matco in the past and IMO the Milwaukee ones are just as high quality and actually better designed too with the square outer sides so they won't roll away and also so you can put a wrench on them for extra leverage. My friend has their regular and ratcheting wrenches too and they are awesome and super high quality just what you'd expect from Milwaukee! I also have a bunch of Milwaukee pliers and C-clamps and they are all great too.
Grey Pneumatic makes a great socket. They are owned by Snap-on but most people don't know this. Same as Williams tools.
So what do you keep on the top drawer
Tekton tools do look really nice, some are made in the USA, the local Meijer in my area carry them. I wont have a problem buying them at all, quality tool for a good price.
How do you get into the top of that blue tool chest?
That aside, i agree with below, way too much talking up front, although I appreciate you confirming that the company gave you some kickback.
gearwrench as far as ratchet wrenches and 3/8 drive ratchets are the best ratchets i have ever used
Great videos, add this one to your list. Have you ever seen the A-SURE OUT extractor? It can be removed in seconds if it breaks, no Welding EDM or DRILLING. After seeing it, only a fool would use anything else! All materials and labor made in the USA! For over 100 years the bolt extractor has changed in many ways, however the failure of a bolt extractor seems to have been carelessly overlooked leaving all users the possibility of catastrophic failure. Help support an American company. Thank you.
I love tekton
I wish Tekton would send me free tools lol. I bought A LOT of Tekton tools. High quality for sure. Tekton, Kobalt and Husky are fantastic tools either due to quality or warranty/quality. I love the Kobalt "no questions asked" warranty. Hassle free. I own Tekton impact sockets, Swivel ratchets, The small screw driver set, crows foot panel remover. Home Depot had a sale on a Husky 28 piece wrench set, so I jumped on it. High quality as well. I have a large screw driver set from Kobalt that is great as well as a host of socket sets. If I had to choose between those 3 brands, Tekton would be the one to keep.
Those tekton screwdrivers look kick ass
Hi, i have some Tekton wrenches but they are made in China, and years ago buy on kragen autoparts 3 flare nut wrenches tekton they are great tools too, love this tools but the only detail is some of them are made in china.. Thank you!!
they sell those at Meijer in Michigan where I live
bradley whittle i bought my extra long ratchet at meijer. its ok. not great but i would buy another one
I'm very interested in how well those long handle ratcheting wrenches handle torque when tightening, or for that matter, loosening really hard nuts/bolts. Do they feel like a fine tooth ratchet or is it a lower tooth count?
I'm VERY interested in good quality tools without spending major dollars for since I am a DIY guy and don't make a living with my tools but need tools that really work when I use them. Nothing is more frustrating than spending what few hours I have not working at my regular job, trying to work on my projects and either not having the right tool or having the right tool that isn't up to the task.
I look forward to your reviews and how well they stand up to everyday workloads. If they do well, I know they'll forever for me.
I will make sure to make a good video covering those points you are looking for. Thanks for the comment!
They won my business with their beautiful warranty. They will replace any broken tool regardless of how you obtained it. Fantastic. Plus, they are a MI company. I live in MI.
How do you break a socket as easily as he puts it, did the tech get one of those stanley kids tool set.
Hey Brian what do you think of sonic tools?
I agree... there is a difference between cheap and higher end tools ... But there is also such a thing as value ... and some of the higher end tools are just not a good value anymore !!! So a balance must be reached and brands such as Tekton are exactly that type of balanced value ... imho !!!
tekton wrench how strong are they? and you know how many tooth?
I have those wrenches in the red and black sleeves and they are great. Tekton is definitely worth the money. I'm not being pay to say that just so you know.
I like mine too, they really are great for the money.
