Oh my goodness way to make me cry 😭 That was so not on my bingo card for today 😂 That was so generous of you Jerika to share. Appreciate you and your channel and your kind words ❤❤❤
Just want to tell you that subscribing to your Patreon was the smartest business move i made this year. I retired in August, opened my brick and mortar "Emporium" in September. I live and sell my products in a seasonal tourist town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The need to sell online to suceed is important and watching your professional video's is paramount to building my confidence to make my own. That is my goal for next year. Thank you for the access to such amazing recipes!
Love the shoutouts to fellow community makers and sellers….I have found this sense of responsibility to other makers of “whatever” to be commendable and one of the reasons I return to their videos over and over again……so appreciate the “philosophical” basis for business building…..
Finally, I can't wait until Monday. I'm like a kid in a candy store with your products. I can't get or have enough. I want be like you when I grow up, lol. Great video for an awesome woman. 💞🧡
I think you can do your tops in a slab mold. After pouring the batter into the slab I *lightly* make an indentation on the soap with a ruler to mark exactly where the loaves will cut so I can spoon my soap tops in the way I want. The the base of your soap top is definitely doable and will look great! I think you can definitely do it!
Loving the vlogmas. I know you have to make these videos with less production (less camera angles) so less time consuming to put out. I have to say I enjoy this format just as much as you more produced videos. Brings me back to the videos of your earlier years, but still captures your message and content just as good.
So fun to se you soaping again! Your tops are definitely uniquely yours. I tried to emulate that style on a couple of my soaps last year and was told by the guys in my family that I made Klingon's spine soap!🙄So I don't even try those now! 🤣Yours look beautiful though!
You make "the making of soap" look so easy and simple. What would be your advice for someone making soap for the first time? Lye seems so scary, but I know I have to get over that to succeed in making soap. More so than soap, I really want to make body butter, lotions, and sugar scrubs. Do you have any tips on those crafts as well? Also, congratulations on the success of your launch!
I have used a 50/50 solution when I plan to make a lot of soap. When I make it, I get a bag of ice from the store, and store the solution in the container the water came in. The SoapGal has a great video,,,but I scaled down from her 100 lbs!
Hey Jerika, Love everything you do!! I was hoping you could give me some good advise on wholesaling. I myself have a small soap business and have a chance to do some wholesale. Little nervous on what to charge?
So want to masterbactch too at some point...I do the same thing...have you ever did the heat transfer method for Melting your oils? You don't have to wait so long for temps to be just right. Your soap tops are amazing!
Hi Valerie, where can I get more info? There's equipment I'm looking for. That's sad...I hope they are closing for positive reason, their shop is amazing
I am a litle confused - the first thing I learnd when I was starting making soap that I have to let them stand for 30 days befor I could sell them, before that they are not ready 🤔
Ready to purchase by Dec 18! I ship the bars a week after release and by the time they reach customers, they’re completely cured. Check out the Soap Gals video on soap cure times and how to get them shorter 😊

His personality SPARKLES!
I am thinking of going into soap making. Whau exactly do you mean when you say that your fragrance is misbehaving?
Jerika, Muddy Mint is closing shop and they will be selling equipment. I think their containers for lye water are being sold.
😮😮😮!
Hi Valerie, where can I get more info? There's equipment I'm looking for. That's sad...I hope they are closing for positive reason, their shop is amazing

Wow! You Rock!!! 🩷
Thank you!!
I saw in the comments Nate’s name was spelled wrong. His name is spelled SuperStar! You’re right Jerika, that guy is a friggin’ ar-teeeeeeeee-st!
lol!!! He is a superstar!
I am a litle confused - the first thing I learnd when I was starting making soap that I have to let them stand for 30 days befor I could sell them, before that they are not ready 🤔
Technically they are safe to use after saponification has taken place the 4 week(30 days) is a cure time to give them time to harden.
Check out this video by the soap gal! ruclips.net/video/wkTrQFzUCi8/видео.htmlsi=s2p8TbL60IGgDaGb
I’ve been wanting to order but your out of stock for some, hopefully there will be more stock for longer😭
Working on it ! Thanks for your patience ❤
Same. Just like with your bath bomb video. Maybe make 3 loaves of the same soap?
Hi Jerika, I'm confused. When was this filmed?
Yesterday!
@JerikaZimmerman Ready Dec.18th, or is that a pre-order?
Ready to purchase by Dec 18! I ship the bars a week after release and by the time they reach customers, they’re completely cured. Check out the Soap Gals video on soap cure times and how to get them shorter 😊
@@JerikaZimmerman interesting to know. I will check it out. The problem with something like that for me is belly bands.
@@karendenbok3206 well to be honest, J @soapgal was referring to bars with heavy water discount, so not too sure you should follow this idea.
Do you accept fan mail
I’ll be hopefully opening a PO Box in 2024!
Do you accept gifts from fans
No, although I’m thinking of opening a PO Box in 2024!
