Also lining up are the current Power Soca Monarch of Antigua and Barbuda, Ricardo Drue, with Trinidad and Tobago’s former Groovy Monarch Kees Dieffenthaller, as well as recent Soul Train Award winner Machel Montano, rounding out the outstanding performers featured.
This combination of talent and jubilant music will certainly have everyone jamming zealously together as their spirits flow in one festive voice for Carnival 2015.

once again Boy h as the formula for creating hits in the Soca fertility . But allow me to critique the genre a bit. Soca as a genre, the artiste, writers, producers itself has starve this genre, by creating the malnutrition effect to it . It's lyrical content is and always been geared to carnival festival mode for the most part 30 years or more. Soca in it's nucleus was never like such. Making it a music for about 40-41 million and others in cities that has a W.I. following. We have to stop the false perception of it as a genre the world is about to grasp. It will not , until we write songs that can target the social engineering of people universally , Until then it's just a pipe dream.
As for MM , this brother is like the James Brown of this genre. Peace & respect.
