So we do Carnival, Battle of St George's Caye (a revolt in British Honduras now Belize) and Independence Day 21st September in September and it's a wonderful time to be in Belize Central America/ Caribbean.

Dr. Kublalsingh is on the 45th day of a hunger strike trying to get Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar to meet over a controversial road from Debe to Mon Desir. This song reiterates the bigger problem. People want more road. For carnival paraders, it's really more parade space they want. It's a limited vision to think that means more road. Similarly, the community members backing the misguided portion of the highway, really want an improved transportation system. Limited vision that that is an overpriced highway with serious environmental impacts and not something....truly magnificent.
