- Russian President Vladimir Putin's close ally and leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has contradicted Moscow's claim that concert hall attackers attempted to flee to Ukraine. The Belarusian strongman claimed that the attackers were trying to flee towards Belarus before they were nabbed by Russia with the assistance of his forces.
