I am suuuuuuper late on this one, but I loved it so much and I honestly can't wait to be back. My favorite part of the whole trip and of Shreveport is the people. Everyone is amazing and nice. I loved it! Can't wait to be back soon!

Nice to see my hometown through someone else eyes. Its been awhile since I've been back, and honestly I hardly recognize the place.
I’m from Shreveport and still live here and I didn’t recognized half of those places. Shreveport is a small city but we have a lot of land and hidden treasures. This video was before COVID so some small businesses are permanently closed.
Lived there for 3 years. Met my wife there too.
I remember Shane's crawfish,barbecue on every corner street,Papa John's,the fair,Willis-knighton,2-hour drive to Dallas,Biker bars along the way.
Next time you visit Shreveport you should go to strawns. the food is sooo godd and they have the bombest strawberry pie.
I've been to Strawn's, the original one on Kings and the newer one on Youree. Food was just "okay" to be honest. Maybe I'm biased because I grew up in New Orleans, but I rarely find what I would call GOOD food outside of the New Orleans Area. And don't even get me started on the crap they serve at that place called "Shane's Seafood". They should be slapped for serving that hot garbage, and I feel sorry for all the folks who actually like their food. Bless their hearts, they probably just don't know what GOOD seafood and crawfish actually tastes like.
Now Marilyn's Place, they actually have some good food. 👍 Some of the best food I've eaten in Shreveport so far.
@@Conqueef-tadoor You rarely find good food outside of New Orleans? I love New Orleans, but the best food in the state is around the Lafayette area. Natchitoches has good food but only the home cooking. The restaurants are hit or miss.
Great little video . I spent this winter in Bossier City. You capture some fun places to eat and drink and have fun times.
Amazing overview of the Shreveport-Bossier area! This was way too cool and you certainly hit so many of the great spots! Enjoyed : )

I've lived in & around Shreveport for 52 years, I've never heard of some of these places...didn't even know Shreveport had an aquarium...
That pretty much wrapped up shreveport a few places to drink and eat and thats all folks not much to see or do here ,its only 50 years behind the times
Everything you are showing is on the Bossier city side of the river. Believe me the boardwalk is a world away from Shreveport.

Ha really, thats funny you believe that sir. Crime aside. They are just as country and backwards as shreveport. LOL
Besides everything she showed was not on the bossier side. Some stuff was on the shreveport side. People from outside Shreveport-Bossier just say Shreveport when they mean they are headed to Bossier. It is just easier and it makes no difference to them either way. It is easier to just say the bigger city. They are tied at the hip anyway.
Please go to the r.w.norton art gallery next time. The gardens in the back are beautiful & it's one of the largest free museums in the usa. The water museum is funner than it sounds. Also by the boardwalk in bossier is the east bank district, ax throwing, live music, breweries, cajun good, pizzeria, bossier arts museum, public pavillion it's awesome. Also have the Barksdale museum on base. Thanks for the video it was awesome.

Go at night n ride around cooper road veey nice people make sure yu stay on the Shreveport side n make sure it’s night😂😂😂
