You're welcome! Good luck and if you find you can't get the RTSP working, I followed up with a review of an alternative camera you can use: ruclips.net/video/ZzLkPY5lyuo/видео.html

I have no power source at the far end of my yard. Is there a battery version of this?

So, I haven't tested it but I was thinking of trying it with a battery power bank. It would make for a fun video.

Yes they have a Wireless Outdoor Surveillance Home Security Camera v2 that has that great night vision.

I only need wildlife viewing, not home security. Will I be able to just buy a camera and not have a "system" of any sort? And will I be able to view on my Apple products without dealing with SD cards? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi! You can buy just the one and use the Wyze app on iOS to set it up, view the feed, and set it up for notifications for anything that enters it's field of view. No other set up needed. If you'd like more than 12 seconds of footage saved, you'll need a premium account with Wyze (which is very inexpensive) or buy an SD card for continuous recording. You can also download clips and save them permanently to your phone or cloud storage.

@@HowToDoItTech I went with two outdoors that require a docking station. Excited! (We're trying to figure out when we can give medicine to a mangey fox. This is a life or death situation. We need all the help we can get.)

Great idea! Hope the fox recovers and everything goes well!

Too late for that now, @@mca2642, but we did find it impossible to get the cameras to stay on the "pet" setting. We weren't getting photos of any animals, only humans. Then we moved. Bye bye fox. Maybe we'll try to set them up in our new house or maybe we'll give or sell them to someone who actually wants home security. I also found the customer service hard to communicate with. Very cute items, we were hopeful, but didn't really work for our needs.

👎You cannot get the clear close-up shots you show in this video unless the camera is within a foot of the subject. MISLEADING!

It's been a while since this came out. The technology has moved on. Have you looked at the new Wyze Cams instead?
