Could you do a video showing how to do some of those flow drills? I think it would be very useful for people like myself who don't have any HEMA clubs close by and train alone a lot of the time.

The pitbull Silva (mma) used to have an insane workout. He would go until the lactate acid would build up, then he would dunk himself in a metal trashcan full of ice water and stop the lactate acid. And continue to train past muscle failure
    Sick

Obviously you need to stand there and scream for 20 minutes to build up your power level

Don't forget having at least some fresh injury. You don't level up if you are not near dying.

Great video - I miss playing floor hockey after your description of a good HEMA workout. Go Steve in the background! :)

The guideline I've always been told is that during aerobic training you should be able to talk, but not able to sing.

So detoxing and doing strength and cardio with basic technical excercise, and team drills with my brother is adequate for this lockdown? I really want to get hooked up with a club or at least get online classes.

    Hello Blood and Iron Hema!
I wanted to ask, how often do you believe this is done in Hema Longsword training athletes that make it to the finals/semifinals at European nationals?

Great video just one minor point - lactate is milk coming out of woman's breasts. The word you are looking for is lactic :-)

Overtraining is a myth for dyels
You are only limited by poor nutrition/dehydration or you snapping yourself up by either not taking time to learn how to do the exercise correctly, not warming up properly or not doing enough stretching/mobility training.
