Cave Story+ Best Ending Speedrun PB (

This was supposed to be an All-Possible Items run, but I forgot to get the Bubbline. Still counts for Best Ending, though.
This is a speedrun of Cave Story+ on Nintendo Switch. The goal is to beat Ballos in the Blood Stained Sanctuary as fast as possible.

I think I actually discovered a glitch on accident. Maybe. I skipped dialogue but then paused, and it kept going. Core could be very broken after. Not skippable, but still broken. After the boss however, if you make it to the previous room before drowning, you will soft lock the game. You can’t go into waterways, you can’t go back in the core room, you can’t go back in the previous labyrinth room, and you can’t even drown. The room does update with the water level of the core room though.

The Switch version lets you skip/fast-forward cutscenes by holding X which saves a lot of time.

This is also the only version of Cave Story where you can carry multiple dogs at once, which makes Sand Zone way faster.

besides, cave story+ runs MUCH faster than freeware since freeware runs at 50 fps and CS+ runs at 60

The Blade is more useful than the Nemesis. This was also meant to be an 'All Possible Items' run but I didn't get the Bubbline, so it ended up being Best Ending.
