I got bored with other groups that I stanned throughout my time as a KPOP fan, but I know I can always trust Lovelyz. I never grew tired of their songs. They never lost their drive and own colors. They might have upgraded their concept into a more mature one, but it still has that Lovelyz brand. I stanned a lot of groups then but Lovelyz remained as my top GG.
Took the words out of my mouth. Other groups come and go with trends but Lovelyz songs are evergreen, at least for me. They're also one of the few groups I can listen to while still being productive.
Yeah, it's unfortunate that the current scene is dominated by EDM and dance-oriented groups. Lovelyz probably won't ever get the proper recognition they deserve from the general public but at least us Lovelinus are blessed to have heard their voices. Maybe one day (fingers crossed)
Most of the sub vocals of other groups can hardly sing live but lovelyz subvocals arr on different level. They excel in the area that they are good at which is their lower registers.

i discovered them in queendom and with kpop harmonies compilations and somehow always felt like they might have at least 2 main vocalists but bruh... 3!!!? and ryu!!!? bruuuuh and mijoo!!? i thought she was way less skilled than that and just THE GOOF of the grp
sadly this video is from some time ago and even when i posted it, it was not really all that updated. lots of them have had even more great vocal moments, mostly mijoo, kei, and sujeong with her solo debut
I always thought Lovelyz will make it big like GFriend because they are are as good but people are sleeping on them :( I hoped that after Queendom they'll boost in popularity but nah.. people still ignore them. First problem I see is about the Jisoo scandal they had back during debut.. Woolim mishandled it and brush it off by having Jisoo sit during the promotions. Second, they actually had a good momentum with them releasing solos before debuting but they released an underwhelming debut song that doesn't showcase the members' vocals like in their solos (Jiae is one disappointing example, they made her sing like she cannot sing). Third, they are put in a FIXED IMAGE. I mean, yes a Princess-Like image is fine but its hard to get close to the masses with that image. All their actions, gestures and speech are controlled (looking back at the Christmas special in Weekly Idol with Twice and GFriend). They look like they wanna let go of their real persona but have to hold back to maintain image. Just in Queendom that they are able to let it all out esp. Mijoo and Sujeong. Hopefully people would start looking at them now. They've been working so hard and even joining competition to be recognized. All the best for Lovelyz. Fighting!!!
They unfortunately get hit with a lot of bad publicity and misfortune. As a fan, it's so frustrating to see them get hamstrung by stuff like these. Jisoo's "rumour" (which was blatantly false and was proven to be a middle aged dude who cooked up the story btw) resurfaced a couple of years after it was dealt with. Also, they couldn't have a comeback right after Queendom because they got a lot of hate for not covering an OMG song (and since OMG became the sweetheart of the show, any perceived disrespect was magnified). Even now, some antis dug up a scandal from a web variety show Mijoo did months ago just in time to screw with their comeback. They have some dedicated antifans, but I'm proud of them for overcoming it every time and being able to show us their talent. I still don't understand how anyone can hate these girls.

this is great and i appreciate it but theres more i would add! more impressive things actually. Kei and Sujeong are REALLY breathtaking when singing ballads (not just high notes) in my opinion. Kei singing her performance from a musical at a fan meeting is really stunning to me, as well as her other performance on girl spirit (called As you live on?), and theres also Sujeong's The Live performances and neighborhood album performances, group acapella of Baek Jiyoung medley and Beat It on yuhuiyeol's show, Yoo Ji Ae's pre-debut solo, Immortal Song performances as a group, other performances on Singderella, and actually much more. I also think the members are very good at singing lower range notes in slower songs and it shows off a lot of their good vocals, so it would have been good if you put more of those in too. That being said, you did a great job already compiling what you did!! Honestly some of the best videos of their vocals are like super hidden on youtube lol I really hope you will post another video or edited version of this because it really means so much that you made a video about Lovelyz to us lovelinus, since they are such an underrated group that ought to be more popular.

Just a note though, Kei at 2:23 was actually performing while her throat was in poor condition and she actually made a mistake there because of her throat (she was pretty upset about it too from memory), so I wouldn't include that in her best, she definitely has better haha. e.g. the sound of my voice + as i live more from girl spirit. And personally I like her for her vocal colour and super clear diction (?) when she sings normally. But nice video! I enjoyed it.

Im actually a once and i discovered Lovelyz because of a video of 2015 where there is TWICE GFRIEND and LOVELYZ when they're trying to make heechul heart beat increase they used their vocals and eventually fall in love with their voices

If you are able to (& maybe have permission to use), you should use their solo stages from their concerts. Those stages seem to showcase their vocal abilities really well.
