"When I'm begging to play Elle Fanning's grandmother on a CBS multi-cam" is one of the funniest and truest things I've heard. Brilliant!

Came here and only know her from The Hunt. 2 scenes... the story she tells, and her talk with the veteren... I was like, wow ok, she has really good comedic presentation and timing!

Yeah! She seems to hit like fun voices and sillies. She should do a sitcom.

God I've never heard someone (kinda) famous talk about shame and depression like this, I absolutely relate, especially growing into a woman being seeped with shame.

Also Kristin Bell openly talks about her depression and whatnot on podcasts. It's quite refreshing to hear.

I have learned from the few interviews I've seen with her that betty gilpin has an excellent mind for metaphors.

didn't know the comment section was pro-censorship. Though In my opinion the criticism was unjustified, I believe it was a discussion worth having. Everyone has their own personal hell, hurdle(s), obstacle(s), to overcome. She worked through hers, and chose to share a part of her emotional journey with us. There's a beautiful lesson in that. Shame and Depression - is not a third world issue, it's just part of the human condition. We all have or have had stumbling blocks to overcome.

Her and Alison Brie prove there is so much more than just being a hot woman. To me, shes the most underrated actress out here because for her to make you forget how ridiculously hot she is with just amazing acting and a realnesss to make u feel her characters is remarkable. For her to stand toe to toe with an Edie Falco or an Alison Brie but to not get as much shine is a shame. Hopefully shell finally win an Emmy...awesome, spirited woman

I'll add my voice to others here saying similar things. I'd love to see more of this funny, quirky, observational side of her in her roles. Maybe someday she'll be cast as a super-hot, insecure, self-doubting beta-type. Also, Sam asks really good questions.

She may be too smart for her own good to work as an attractive blonde actress in hollywood. She'd probably go far as a producer with her creativity, insite and viewpoints. She should team up with Larry David.
