I'm from Ukraine, in my country this motorcycle is sold under the Kovi brand and its price is $4800, which is a great price compared to KTM and other European and Japanese brands, I hope to buy it in the spring

Moro no Brasil, aqui temos as motos MXF, que são GPX ai. Tenho uma MXF 300ts, que é bem parecida com essa ai, a maior diferença é porque a suspensão traseira das que vieram é de link.
Minha moto tem mais de 70 horas, e os problemas que ocorreram são normais e fáceis de resolver.
Manutenção é metade do preço de uma KTM.
Acha bastante peça, na china então por compatrilhar peças com as KTM peça não falta.
Adoro minha moto.
Great point about the parts! They’re so much less expensive than the related KTM parts. So much so that in the UK now they’ve stopped selling parts non GPX owners as they’re a direct fit & much more affordable.
And before anyone says so - yes I’m a fanboy. But this is after 2 KTMs, a WR450 and years ago a Honda CR250E (yes - I’m that old) along with numerous road bikes.

@RobboRobinson....any thoughts on how to get this video out to more people...I would open to hear...I posted to my socials and Facebook groups...but my numbers are small...and of course I don't really trail ride, like the intended use of this bike is.

Sorry to comment again. But I thought I’d add that all the manuals are freely available in the UK GPX website. Plus the Facebook groups are fantastic.
12 out the door for my 300xcw in November for anyone wondering… find a good dealer. I drove2.5 hours for mine and it was well worth saving the thousand my local dealer wanted on top
That being said I’m still watching gpx videos because 12k is way too much for a 2 stroke 😂
Exactly..12 thousand is wayyyyyyyyy to much...think about it from the beginning the GPX saves you like 4.5 to 5 thousand...granted not exactly the same bikes, but 95% of Joe Averages are gonna ride the same speed, same comfort on the GPX ...not to mention the less expensive replacement parts....these GPX's are really getting overlooked in the market place....Glad I got mine.😁

Dave, 1 thing you need to understand, is that the GPX is a clone of a 2007-10 KTM 300. Ktm has been partnered with CF moto in China since 2010 and KTM doesnt really care about older model proprietary issues, So in essence that GPX is gonna be at least as good as an older KTM, so of course its going to be a decent bike. The price of bikes has gotten out of control and The GPX especially a 2 stroke would be a viable option. The Only concern would be parts availability and the strange hardware that may be used
Not sure What I Need To Understand...I said essentially the same in the video...and You have the years of KTM similarity wrong ..it is 2017 - 2019 with 2020 bottom end...but suspension has differences for sure and they use different materials and thread pitch...and as far as parts availability, we'll you said it yourself..most can cross reference with Genuine KTM or get through GPX and save tons of money...sorry don't see were I had it wrong .🤷♂️🤦♂️

Problem with small obscure manufacturers is getting replacement parts.
Amigo, há muitas peças de reposição disponiveis. Além do mais ela é quase o mesmo desenho industrial da KTM e compartilha muitas peças. Na china encontra peça muito facil.

I kept tabs on Mason Klein..he had some problems..but also got a new designed bike with very little prep time.

Where are you located bro I was thinking of doing the exact same thing but I asked and they said they don't ship to USA.
@@manyeastgarland I live in Mexico. In USA you can buy already assembled under GPX brand. Consider that I paid 5500usd till Mexico plus assembling and buy battery, fluid, etc. I can say cost me 6000usd, still less than half of Sherco, or Beta, just mentioning the carburated bikes. Here, in a small island carburetors are the choice, a fuel injected 2-stroke bike can be a huge headache.
Hello Dave. Thanks for making genuine content. Would you recommend the 250r or the 300l for a new to dirt rider? I am planning on keeping this thing for a long time so I don’t know if I would get bored of the 250 quickly. Would you spend the extra money knowing what you know?

The TSE250R Is really good for beginners...even the Air Cooled FSE250E ..is in that category ..The TSE300L is definitely designed for more advanced riding.
I loved my 2018 250 xcw , this looks identical, but who knows what components are on it, certainly no Brembo brakes or wp suspension, my KTM was 440 hours and was still in great shape, these Chinese bikes who knows
There are a couple with over 100hrs out there with no problems.
Been considering swapping my 350xcf for one of these or a beta xtrainer.
A 250 tse kinda tempts me as I'm a fan of the dt230 engine.
I like the TSE250 as well but for a little more you get a bike close to the same weight...much more power and newer style engine to ease in getting parts in the future.👍
Just found your channel. Is this based off of the older KTM or Yamaha? Different reviewers are saying both. I had a 2017 KTM xc 250 that would rip my arms off, is this more along the lines of the XCW? Thanks.
Yes, thIs is basically a 2017 KTM 300 XC in a lot of ways..it's not as hard hitting as the pure MX models..it has plenty of torque. I only have 22 hrs on it, but it has been damn good and keeps up with any 300 2 stroke...certainly better than my ability to ride it...currently sorting out suspension for how I use it on MX Track.

Your used KTM is a better quality bike you're better off going through the bike and replacing wear items
@@thatfast3002 I'll take a new bike every day all day over a used one...you can never truly know how it was maintained...and new is new no wear on anything...to bring a used bike to that level is costly.
Dave, I'm looking at the GPX TSE 250 R or the Kayo K-6R 250, I know you have this GPX TSE 300L and the Kayo K-6R 250. I see below you said the TSE 250R is a good bike too, what are your thoughts on these ? THANKS!
I would recommend the GPX or Kayo 2 strokes...they are easier to get parts for and accessories. I still would choose the GPX TSE300L over any of the 4 strokes from Kayo or GPX...Just because it's essentially a 2017 KTM 300 XCW/EXC

Been looking to get my first bike soon. I have been looking and the X-pros have caught my eye. Do you have any opinion on those bikes? (Mainly the 250cc bikes)
If you could afford a GPX FSE250...You would end up with a bike that is twice as good...but XPro is okay if it's all you can afford...riding is better than not riding.

@@K_Nasty not on par with a GPX...but not as much money either...I owned an Orion RXB 250 that was similar to the XPRO...it was okay after much upgrading.

ive been looking at these things and ive always kinda wondered how it would hold up i take pretty decent care of my stuff and full rebuilds so maybe ill be a werido out of my group and snag one up
@@2centsoffroadgarage they are really good for off-road..essentially a 2017 KTM 300EXC..Very stout and reliable...a little different for MX it needs updated suspension for that.
@Dirt_Bike_Dave I'm more of a woods rider anyways as long as I'm not waiting on parts for it forever I don't see a real reason not try it out give my old 2012 husky 300 a break and a rebuild lol
how available are parts? Does Rocky mountain Carrier parts, what about after market parts
You can use original KTM parts on most things and aftermarket and gpxmoto.com can get you anything you need usually for a lot less cost.
Did yours come with the Seat Concepts seat?
No..just a straight gripper seat.
Does that gpx pipe fit the Kayo kt250 I heard it does what say you
Sorry...no clue...I doubt it as mine is a 300cc and the Kayo is a 250cc.
Good beginner bike but its 100% lower quality than ktm and youre better off buying a good condition used ktm if youre going to ride the bike hard. The gpx is a nice looking beginner or experienced leisure rider bike. Last season a amateur i race with had a gpx main bearing let go at 20 hrs and his transmission is funny popping in to neutral.
Let me answer you with this just 1 time...If your so Anti-GPX why waste time commenting and looking at the video ? 🤦♂️🤷♂️ also come talk to me when All the other brands don't have problems...maintenance has a ton to due with it...anything mechanical can have a failure...Seen plenty of orange KTM tears 😪 when bikes were seized from bad oil injection...it happens.
@@Dirt_Bike_Dave 300 hrs lots of racing mine hasn't had a single DNF. First piston I did at 190 hrs. I race and ride with racers I'm just saying gpx isn't what you want if you're a racer or hard rider. They're a good deal for beginners or leisure riders for sure
Here speaks a guy who’s never owned one. It’s a shame how people have branded names tattooed in their brains. KTMs are mostly made in China - but they charge more for the name not the quality.
I’ve done about 100 hours on my GPX now & have had no issues whatsoever.
The quality is amazing and they’re built strong. Only the first couple of batches had issues & they’ve been more than ironed out.
@@Rooonga you're clearly a beginner/easy rider because my buddy has the 250 2 stroke and blew a crank bearing at 20 hours. Gpx gave a new motor and transmission is funny. Decent bikes but if you're a serious rider get a nap or euro bike the quality is definitely higher
Misleading with the GPX moto USA as it's made in China. Even if it's a decent bike, I won't be supporting China.

Right? And it's the only dirt bike that I know of that's American owned, right here in Utah. Let's be clear, a dirt bike is about the most basic of technology on the planet. A 3 year old can design a dirt bike and there's been no, I repeat, no advancements. KTM owners get excited about fuel injection. HA.ha..rotf. my smartphone has more technology in it than a dirt bike. There's nothing to it so why not support the American owned company and get it manufactured in China (which is a hell of a lot better than German/Austrian manufacturing). I love my Beta. And I have no doubt KTMs are great but everything I've seen about these is they're pretty awesome. I'll go for the latest technology when there actually is some technology. @@Dirt_Bike_Dave

Why throw away...is a KTM a throw away ? This bike is essentially a KTM..so I'll have parts availability for years and having had others since 2019 the durability is there...they are not the crap of the past.

@@snowfreak207 the 250 is a different bike than the one in this video...but they are reliable...they are basically on older Yamaha design...again you can get parts from GPXMOTO.COM...resale us not great on these bikes and with that many miles it probably needs crank top end, and bearings.
