I'm reading your book right now and I needed to come here to comment about a phrase you said:

Unbelievable perspective and thought you shared. This book is unbelievable, thanks so much for writing it

Thank you Ed for this wonderful video! Today is my birthday, 61 and looked in the mirror with gratitude. I am having this week off, every morning I wake up, open the door to my small garden and sit there enjoying a cup of coffee, the green trees and the colorful sweet smell of the flowers. Just sitting there and observing, feeling, breathing, it’s just fantastic. What else do you need 💕🌸💕

Thank you for telling people how incredible rude is not to be present with people and be so self-centered and self-absorbed, even more when distracting themselves with cell phones. I hope that people become more present, self-aware, and much more grateful to nature, animals, the air we breath, the water we use for our benefit, the soil that gives us life, and the sun. We ought to be great full, empathetic, and compassionate to ALL the beings that surround us, if we expect to survive as a species. We need to stop been so needy, and the first step is awareness. Thank you for trying to increase the level of awareness on others.

Yesterday I was feeling very alone on my journey to become the person God made me to be. After I prayed at a picnic table I looked up and saw a beautiful tree, and because of this message, I got closer to it. I noticed shapes of leaves I never noticed before, and beyond that I realized we are never alone when I observed Gods creatures playfully flying around me, I heard Turkey's in the woods around me, I felt the calming wind like never before, then I remembered the many fox I observed in my neighborhood heading to work the past couple days, and then it hit me! By observing what is around us and in us we are never actually alone, from now on I will be very vigilant on what I bring into my life to not feel alone, I will simply observe God's creation anytime I have lonely thoughts. Thanks for that Ed ❤

Thank you. I love how you set things in perspective. I actually spent and spend a gr8 part of my life observing life and people from coffee house tables, preferably outside tables. I have to comment. I was listening to you speak about taking the time to observe and narrowing your focus down to a specific thing.
    | Being more present, 8:50 | As you are talking about this i was connecting and relating as I have been taking notice to just staring at my hands in the mornings realizing how we connect with our hands, we build with our hands, and how much of a gift they are and then BOOM...you said you do the same thing! There is truth in everything you are saying and sometimes I get caught up in where I want to be and where I think I should be. I have to remind myself that everything I need is within me. The power of observation is real. Thanks for the gift you are giving to others Ed. I have been enjoying these videos as you are doing what the comedians do and sharing the things that are right in front of us, but many of us are distracted and don't fully observe.

Beautiful podcast today. I am a medical educator and I always tell my students that bringing one's attention to the present moment, present place, present body, and present situation is the foundation of being a healer (the self and others) and it is also the foundation of inhabiting one's life. Funny that being a skilled observer allows you to be a participant in your own life. Thank you these words of wisdom good sir. I am truly grateful for all you provide others, including me.

Ed, this is beautiful. Ive been doing the same thing for a while now and its so funny you are also talking about the same thing. Being the observer, stay still and just be fully present in that moment it almost feels like you are collapsing the time where past, future and presence is all happening at once, like some kind of magical void. Thats when I feel the most connected with the universal energy. I have been observing my loved ones the same way and the appreciation, love and gratitude that fills my heart in that moment is so immense I feel so blessed to be able to see them and be in their presence. Im saying that because we only have one life and for what it is and what we have, its important to observe the beauty of this universe while we are here.

I work near a very popular running and biking trail and the people I see out there every day who are struggling a bit have no idea but I’m their biggest supporter. They can’t see me or hear me but Like a crazy person I say out loud in my car as I pass “ keep going, you got this” I like to think it sends positive vibes their way to keep them going a little further.

@Kim Iles....Ed, I tell people about your show every day. I started watching this episode, when it was only out for 1 hour! I am so grateful to hear this message this morning. Just yesterday, I had the most insane day, that I had to muster up every ounce of courage and resilience that I had in my body. It completely drained me. But then my husband reminded me, that when this ordeal is over, I will tell MY story, on my new radio show( I had a show on mainstream radio , but I canceled it during covid) ..My new show ? Will be a lot , response to things I have learned , strength I have gathered, from YOUR SHOWS!!! Thank you. Today's show, the show about Worthy, the show with Taryn about Resilience !!! They have changed me. Your statement " You're Not Crazy, You were FIRST " ?? Made the biggest change for me yesterday as I appeared in court. I have a huge story to tell about abuse, and bullying my whole life, and now facing my greatest demons in a twisted Legal System, and a family situation will be a story that SO many have experienced. No one, will have my " Recipe " , to tell the same story. I owe my courage to YOUR show. Thank you truly! I am in the Natural Health industry. I have helped and supported hundreds, hundreds of people.....but the hardest thing, has been helping myself !
My story, will be a tribute to the strength I have gathered listening for hours and hours to your show, watching the videos, listening to the audio of #The Power of One More !

As I put your video to watch, I read first the title and said: Oh, it's one of them. One of those inspirational self-help videos that mean nothing (you know what I mean) and I better switch to something else.
But then a voice in me said: Stay a bit more. And I stayed, and I watched it all, and it was great.
I'm so glad that I found you some years ago. And here is something I need to tell you: Very few people in the world pour their hearts out like you do, which is why I still watch your videos. Which is why you inspire me to continue despite any shit that's going on in my life and be my best. I love you . Thank you, brother.

Thank you for caring about humanity. Please make a video, (or several videos), addressing the anger, the resistance, the entitlement, and absolute hostility to change and/or to learning to take personal responsibility for your life. I have a self destructive family member who absolutely refuses to make wise choices, hates discipline, and refuses to accept that other realities exist. I see this happening everywhere Ed, but how do I reach them where they are and help to uplift them. Being the example does not always work. It creates resentment and comparisons. I meditate, pray, and attempt to be in alignment with spirit, but still can’t shift them upwards. I feel guilty that I am so weak and powerless to help them. I feel like I have failed the inner spirit.

@ABC-uq3mx Thank you. I was awake all night thinking about your response. I gave my power away and this has obviously created a spiritual imbalance within me.
Serving others is a natural expression of spirit, but a person must honor themselves first. When a person starts to feel bad they are violating the spiritual needs of the self.
Unfortunately, most women are judged by how much they sacrifice and help others. They are shamed by relatives and society when they complain or cannot do more.
True service comes from wholeness and well being. It is selfless, compassionate, and has no expectations.

We do need to get the balance right between caring for ourselves and caring for others, having boundaries. I struggle with over caring and doing too much for others and I need to get the balance right

That's so crazy because I have a daily journal that I record certain things from the day, and I do it right before I go to bed, and 2 of my questions that I ask myself in that journal are "what were your big wins today?" and "what are your big goals for tomorrow?" The journal is on my MacBook, I'm 25, and I usually do the same things everyday. I usually have the same small goals everyday because my life is consistent. I never do something drastically different from day to day. And even though I mostly do the same things everyday, achieve the same goals, work on the same projects, I never copy and paste my answers to those questions from the previous day, which I could easily do. I force myself to write out specifics of the projects that I'm working on.
For example, I don't say, "I worked out today", because I could just copy and paste that everyday. I say which muscle I trained that day, and I take note of any interesting things about the workout like how my reps changed from the previous week, etc. And I think by writing it out each day instead of copying and pasting something general, it forces me to think more about it and actually pay closer attention to what I'm doing each day. And I started this daily journal a couple weeks ago, and the point of being more present and being an observer goes right in line with that, and I had no idea I was doing that in my journal until I saw this, that's amazing!
By the way, I designed that daily questionnaire to be useful and applicable to all stages of my life, so I'll be asking myself those same questions every single day for the rest of my life. God bless anyone who reads this. 🙏
