I really appreciate this video. I inherited one of these stoves as a young Boy Scout and used it a lot, still have it. It still works.
The one I have has no markings on it. Until your video I had no idea as to its name or manufacturer. So my occasional attempts at Google Fu had no results. Thank you so much.

      You are very welcome
I'm glad you have one of these amazing stoves
You should get it going and use it
      Thanks for watching

Thanks for sharing the video of these stoves. Now I will be on the look out for one of these at flea markets and yard sales.

Turm means tower, hence the logo.

      Great to know
      I wondered about the logo

Yep, cool stoves. I have a Turn with the removable pot stands and an East German stove similar to your Volcano, free standing doesn’t fold up.
Back when I got mine I wish I was a little more aggressive collecting, like you say now hard to find and expensive. .

That's awesome you have one of those
      I hope you use it
I'd love to have one but they are expensive and sometimes not complete
I wish they were still made today
      Thanks for your comment

On the Yellow stove the brass fitting where the key is stored can be removed for easier filling of alcohol, also the fold out leg on the opposite side can be used as a handle to hold the stove with that opening downward and can help get rid of any remaining fluids or cleaning solvents by swinging this stove and using centrifugal force, similar to swinging a bucket of water with a hole at the bottom

Great devices! And relatively quite compared to more modern devices-that use petrol. There is a GDR thingy, called a "Juwel" that is supposed to sound like a Volkswagen Beetle with a broken exhaust when started-will get you in contact with everybody else camping out when using it to create the hot water for a coffee in the morning I was told...I wanted to get one when they were sold in a clearance, but was to slow to get one ;-)
They are expensive now as well ;-)

I believe the juwel stove uses white gas
There are tons of similar stoves out there and they are fairly loud

Is there a special way to add the alcohol into that small opening?

Just remove the opening in the tube and the fill hole is adequate

I have one of those its a Touring Turm with a brass tank. My guess its much older than the ones you show, Ebay has some, rediculous prices for what i think is a fairly weak heater/stove.

I agree The prices are insane
I do think they are great and there's nothing else like them
