Squidmar, just wanted to say you reignited a passion for mini painting that had been dormant since 1988. I love your paint jobs, techniques and especially you calm, kind demeanor. And your humor too!
I think the last couple years has really seen an all around renaissance in tabletop creativity. Painting, crafting, designing, story-telling... I have always been jealous of not living in this time-period, or that... But I am happy to live in this one, now.
Wow, you knocked that Morathi out of the park! Can't wait to reveal it to my D&D group as a big bad evil gal :) Thanks so much for offering the service - this is an epic job!
It's really interesting to see painting stripped down to only what's necessary. It's so easy to get hung up on the details, but contrast and colour are key. Also, shout out to the person using Morathi for D&D, you're my hero!
Your painting style is unreal. I have and im tipping alot of the fans here have learnt so much from your videos. Thankyou for your passion and love for the hobby. Peace and love from Australia
Guillimen looks fantastic. Now I want a whole army like that. *Night Fighting* makes me think of Mad Max Fury Road night scenes and how I always pictured some parts of Dune
That nighttime/moon light guilleman looks really awesome i think i will steal this idea if i start collecting one of the stealth legions, Alpha, Raven Guard or Nightlords :)
I see you've reached the stage where you've discovered explosion effects while editing. This is a sign of a major breakthrough in the channel soon, exciting!
Just wow, thank you so much for accepting the mumak! I love what you did with it! It would also be great to see you paint more middleearth minis on this awesome channel.
Would’ve loved to see dedicated videos of painting each of these minis to educate us all on the techniques you both used to get so much quality in such a short period of time.
I'm floored by how great these look with so little time. And I'm not sure what it is but theres a velvety glow to everything that I love but can't describe any other way
I was trying to get my love for the painting side of the hobby back and recently discovered your channel. I really enjoy your content, you have reinvigorated my love for painting!
I really like these kind of videos, are you are showing a variety of styles, inspirations, color palett, that's really inspiring or giving guidelines (both things I would like not to do and ideas to "steal from"). That was quite a show anyway, but very fun to watch. Congrats to the team!
Dude you guys are off the hook!!! I was redirected here from Reddit for you’re guilliman. I started mine last night and it took me 5 1/2 hours to paint a single leg!!
Wow! It's always amazing how fast you guys can get a very insane result. I would love to watch more content that shows how you paint, e.g. go through the decision making what to focus on when you only want to spent 1 or 2 hours on a model, the technics you use and so on.
The people that took advantage of this were really smart. Even if the paint jobs aren't Squidmar's peak quality they're still excellent--totally worth buying a big model (and sending it in?) to get that deal! It makes me wish it would happen again. Ah well. Excellent work, and congrats to the buyers!
You and Lukas need to paint more in this heads up side by side fashion. I don't know what it is about the painting hangout sessions but you both seem to feed off one another in terms of creativity. I think these pieces have been some of your most impressive pieces. I am blown away by the quality of your work in the very short time crunch. Emil if you happen to see this I would love to know your method of painting the blackstone/monoliths on the Silent King model, please and thanks!
It would be cool to see a more in depth breakdown on how you guys actually paint a model of this quality within such a short timeframe. Your thought process and so on, esp on something like on of those larger models.
Great video, great paint jobs, incredible for the time limits you've set yourselves even when you're a little over that limit. Would be great to see some more videos from Lucas, about his approach to painting, tips and tricks, things that he did to improve his painting, and become more efficient. I Emil has done videos covering this, but I think it would be cool to see the perspective and journey from another incredible mini painter. Love your videos, keep it up guys!
How it's possible to have this much detail in 1 hour? I know that airbrush speeds things up but is there any time to build highlights or glazing or wash to dry? Stippling highlights on gold trim would probably took me at least an hour. Do you use some hobby cheats to speed this up?
Arghlsnghhhh! So intimidating! I'm just about to start my Space Wolves Army and I'm not sure about wether i can just closely reproduce the awesomeness shown on these minis. I'll do my very best!
I don't think this was the last time. I'm sure you had too much fun or at least love the challange. Maybe for $30 and double Time ? Everything looks amazing but Guilliman hits the spot. Nice work from you both
Lucas is a fucking monster. I mean, you both are amazing at achieving great looking miniatures in a crazy small amount of time, but Lucas MUST be using magic of some sort. What this guy manages to do in a couple hours is unnnnnreal!
Mate that morathi is absolutely amazing and that gulliman, gilleman, glowiman...well it's impressive! And the eyes on the mumaks, seriously guys 🤯 I would like to see pics of both morathi and gulliman from different angles on your facebook page for inspiration, I love them!🤩 By the way, how can you paint that fast and amazing? My best paints get me more than 10 hours and not even close 😱, if I could learn how to improve my speed/quality it would be amazing 😊

What is the name of the black square light that Lucas is using while you’re painting a snake lady
Squidmar, just wanted to say you reignited a passion for mini painting that had been dormant since 1988. I love your paint jobs, techniques and especially you calm, kind demeanor. And your humor too!
Thats so awesome peter, welcome back :D
It's great to be back! Will be forever grateful.
I think the last couple years has really seen an all around renaissance in tabletop creativity.
Painting, crafting, designing, story-telling... I have always been jealous of not living in this time-period, or that... But I am happy to live in this one, now.
Dang I was born in 88 lolz he just recently got me in to the hobby all together a few months back but for the same reasons as u great job 🦑
Wow, you knocked that Morathi out of the park! Can't wait to reveal it to my D&D group as a big bad evil gal :)
Thanks so much for offering the service - this is an epic job!
Man, that OSL on Guillman is freaking amazing.
Agreed - best model there IMO
I would love to see Lucas do a tutorial on how he painted that night scene style on Guilliman!
Emil did one on object source lighting covering the same stuff :D
My jaw dropped when I saw it, actually super badass and unique
It's really interesting to see painting stripped down to only what's necessary. It's so easy to get hung up on the details, but contrast and colour are key. Also, shout out to the person using Morathi for D&D, you're my hero!

Guillimen looks fantastic. Now I want a whole army like that. *Night Fighting* makes me think of Mad Max Fury Road night scenes and how I always pictured some parts of Dune
I’d be very interested to see the techniques on the Guilliman concept.
I did a video on object source lighting, very much the same :)
@@SquidmarMiniatures how much to do that in a more ultramarine color lmao love that gman
That nighttime/moon light guilleman looks really awesome i think i will steal this idea if i start collecting one of the stealth legions, Alpha, Raven Guard or Nightlords :)
Epic job lads!
Lucas you virtuoso, do a tutorial on the night scene style that you did on Guilliman please!
Emil did one some time ago, scroll back and look for "object source light" and youll find a video with a stormcast dude paintet the same way :D
Best series ever, please never stop.
Also Peter Parker is the best sidekick.
You mean hipster Harry Potter?
I see you've reached the stage where you've discovered explosion effects while editing. This is a sign of a major breakthrough in the channel soon, exciting!
Leon, they've been around for 2 years haha
Lukas, bruh. So good. All of em. Your detail work is amazing.
Just wow, thank you so much for accepting the mumak! I love what you did with it! It would also be great to see you paint more middleearth minis on this awesome channel.
I am SERIOUSLY impressed with the quality you achieve in so little time! would love to see what methods you use to do that. good work.

I'm so glad!
Holy Odin, you guys are outta this world! Respect!
2:30 - "not nearly close to done" - Me "looks pretty fookin done", your so good that lvl of quality in just one hour is crazy
I really like these kind of videos, are you are showing a variety of styles, inspirations, color palett, that's really inspiring or giving guidelines (both things I would like not to do and ideas to "steal from"). That was quite a show anyway, but very fun to watch. Congrats to the team!

This was amazing. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.
That Guilliman is something else. Well done.
I dunno if I love or hate that you guys can get these kinds of results in only a few hours. They look amazing.
This is a really fun series! It's really fun to see what you two can get done in the time given.

Squidmar: The _LAST_ time ever we paint on Fiverr
Me: I can't read suddenly, I don't know what it means
I think it says "Not the last time ever we paint warhammer on fiverr for 10 dollars" not sure tho
That herald mini...the detail...holy CRAP. Those eyes!
You 2 are amazing. Thanks
I just ordered my own set of Squidmar brushes Pricey but man am I excited... I can't wait to use them!
You two look like a happy couple painting together :3
Insane painting every time! Wish I could get into the hobby.
Lucas is the champion. You guys are both champions!
I've been waiting for this episode!
You both are a huge inspiration :) thanks gyus
The people that took advantage of this were really smart. Even if the paint jobs aren't Squidmar's peak quality they're still excellent--totally worth buying a big model (and sending it in?) to get that deal! It makes me wish it would happen again. Ah well. Excellent work, and congrats to the buyers!
I love this series, not because of the painting or the challenge, but because it’s two friends hanging out (:
Amazing! The serpent, Guilliman and the Oliphaunts "Mûmakil" look awesome!
Awesome take on Guilliman!
You and Lukas need to paint more in this heads up side by side fashion. I don't know what it is about the painting hangout sessions but you both seem to feed off one another in terms of creativity. Awesome works guys, very talented painters, greetings from a "old 90 Golden demon french winner" !!
Thank you very much!
It would be cool to see a more in depth breakdown on how you guys actually paint a model of this quality within such a short timeframe. Your thought process and so on, esp on something like on of those larger models.
Love it! And Gaz, holy crap that model was a solid pick, and turned out sooooo good!
the 2 hours models are insanely good
Meanwhile, it's taking me like a week to assemble and paint my warmaster titan.
The eye s on that tzeentch herald are absolutely insane!
Those were dope man, WOW 😳
Beautiful work guys. 🔥🎸🔥
Amazing snake lady! Gratz!
The Guilliman and Morathi are amazing.

Great video, great paint jobs, incredible for the time limits you've set yourselves even when you're a little over that limit. Congrats on a very specific eBay sale this week squidmar. That's some next level crazy.
I love that guiliman in night style armor.
Guilliman front painting reminds a lot of Night Lords color scheme. 😁😁 However, its absolutely impressive... A reference to give for osl. 🤘🏼
You're an amazing inspiration to me. I'm going on 2 years of painting now
That Guilliman scheme is pretty awesome!
Thanks :D
Surely five of these videos would be the best point to stop. Due to it being fiverr. Incredible stuff as usual!
you are probably right ;) but it is what it is
I really want to paint an army looking like that Guilliman, gonna need to find out how to do so
Check out the video on object source lighting from a while back :)
How it's possible to have this much detail in 1 hour? I know that airbrush speeds things up but is there any time to build highlights or glazing or wash to dry? Stippling highlights on gold trim would probably took me at least an hour. Do you use some hobby cheats to speed this up?
imagine having a back log when you can paint like that in two hours.
Nice work from you both
That Guillimen tho, great job you guys, these look fantastic!
Must keep this series going
Lucas is a fucking monster. I mean, you both are amazing at achieving great looking miniatures in a crazy small amount of time, but Lucas MUST be using magic of some sort. What this guy manages to do in a couple hours is unnnnnreal!
Hey not so loud or the ministry of magic might intervene... :o
@@Lukas_squidsquad shit, sorry man...
Just joking guys, Lukas can't be doing magic, because magic doesn't exist.
;O
The Rahboot is amazing it made my jaw drop!!
Who knew Guilliman could look that good?
The Konrad is amazing. 5:25
These look amazing!!!
Though I would love to see what they would look like if you didn't have time restrictions 😐
I love how you got Harry Potter into the hobby. :P Keep doing what you're doing, mate. We love the videos. :D
realy like light effect on guillilman . Good job
You guys paint better than I can in triple the time
Great episide like allways!
It's too bad they didn't do the gold on the Guilliman. That would have been REALLY badass. I understand the time constraints though.
THAT GULIMAN IS FUCKING UNREAL
Mate that morathi is absolutely amazing and that gulliman, gilleman, glowiman...well it's impressive!
And the eyes on the mumaks, seriously guys 🤯
I would like to see pics of both morathi and gulliman from different angles on your facebook page for inspiration, I love them!🤩
By the way, how can you paint that fast and amazing? My best paints get me more than 10 hours and not even close 😱, if I could learn how to improve my speed/quality it would be amazing 😊
It always blows my mind that your 1 hour paint jobs look better than my 7 - 8 hour paint jobs
That gulliman 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
LUKAS herald FTW!
