But there's a twist to everything. Every few minutes we get random challenges that make things much harder! I challenged 3 amazing miniature painters to a duel! We paint some Warhammer miniatures, Necromunda figures, assassins from titan forge and Age of Sigmar figures Idoneth Deepkin reavers.

Exactly what I though. My 4 hour paint shop is horrible compared to the last 10 minute paint job. Pleas: make a "How-to-paint in 10" video for me. No Cuts !

Squidmar, being a new and disabled painter. I found this vid to be depressing at first. But on reflection, i was in awe of the skills you guys have. After all you have to aim for the high bar to be good. I don't have the dexterity or motor control to do what you do especially at the speed you do. But I really appreciate you and the skils you have. I enjoy painting any that's what I enjoy.

I can relate, man. I recently became very ill two years ago, and I went from being an athlete to barely being able to move. I had to replace martial arts with something else, and so I began to paint minis more seriously.
It was difficult and frustrating at first, but I kept at it and found ways to adapt and now I have a decent looking space wolf army! The problem I have now Is that its difficult for me to make money in my condition, but luckily I had some Vostroyans I had put in storage from my Army days, so I still have things to paint.
Don't give up, keep at it. The most important thing is to enjoy the process. We have a limited time on earth, we may as well try our best to be positive and enjoy what things we can.

@@flo1fication thanks for the encouragement. Likewise, I wish you well. I have been this way since birth and have learned that it is all about finding new ways to do things others do natirally. For example I need two hands to hold the brush stsble. So I have the miniature in a table top vice on top of a turntable. While I am not going to win a prize for speed I am improving my quality slowly.
@@ggkfdidi6538 Take a look at the video "Fine Details with Taliesin Jaffe | MINI PRIMETIME" here on RUclips. The guest, Taliesin, has issues with motor skills, and they go over a really simple method of steadying your hand, using a rubber band. It really works wonders.

That was one of the most entertaining painting videos ever!!! The skill all 4 of you guys have, not just with technical hands on, but with the mental side to adapt to all those challenges and still produce a fantastic mini?!?!? I am amazed. Favourite miniature is the blue and purple ish assasin the colours may not naturally go well together but god damn he pulled it off like a champ.
"Only brown tones" on a kroot challenge is like saying "Hey, paint kroots normally." Gonna be laughing about that one for awhile.

Love Fantasia! They (I think it's the same guys) had a store in my hometown when i was a kid. That's what made the hobby accessable for me as a kid!

TheKrispiestKreme i thought the exact same thing, the challange said “use mouth as a hand”, it didn’t explicitely say you had to paint with the mouth
Would love to see the 4 time challenges done again, but without the handicap obstacles.. maybe have all 4 models be the same and you need to see if you can match the quality to the first time frame
The highest scoring brown only kroot was a real surprise 👏
Really cool challenge. Neat to see what people could do in such a short time. You should do a video about lighting your minis cause your display shots looked really good and I want mine to look like that.
my favorite one is the last one Lukas did in 10 mins. It looks amazing and it blows my mind he did that in 10 mins with limitations.

Also I was wondering if you could do a video on the use of magnets for being able to switch out parts of a mini.
I ask as someone who is just getting into the Warhammer 40k hobby and I know that it's not a normal starting point. However, doing this technique is something which really interests me and I figure that trying to learn middle to advanced level techniques sooner instead of later will most likely be a benefit to me overall.

I like the diminishing time aspect. I suggest dumping the challenge cards - not needed and IMO the time restriction is enough.
I think it's too easy to make it ultra competitive. Some people struggle with just the time aspect, adding additional components makes it much more interesting to watch and less hyper competitive.
Man... Seriously, you'd do another video like this!!! So inspiring!!! Please next on do only one challenge, maybe the colour lock and use the same figure for everyone, I think the most interesting one was the last challenge where everyone's Kroot was so different despite using the same colour:)

If you do it again try something like this:
1. All contestant bring 1 mini (one for each contestant: identical models)
2. Each contestant decides: Time / Paint brand / Tools allowed / Color sheme / Must Include "this" Paint technique.
3. Let a non contestant score 4/3/2/1 (if 4 people) each score used once.
So 4 people 4 rounds. With a extra speedpaint round if its a draw.
If all the rounds take to long to do it all in one go, make a youtubes serie tournament. us viewers wouldn't mind more content! You guys are awesome.

Yeah same alltho at least the 10minute versions didnt surpass what i can do in a couple of hours or so.

Emil's Kroot is my favorite. Sure they were all in brown-tones, but, I have always thought of Kroot as plant hybrids.
