At the end of the day, tell yourself gently: ‘I love you, you did the best you could today, and even if you didn’t accomplish all you had planned, I love you anyway.

Just reading this made me break down in tears.
It can be difficult to tell yourself you did well, or that you love yourself. It's so easy to hate yourself and criticise everything you do.
But I did good today, and I love myself anyway.

The trouble with the UK Mental Health system in the NHS is that therapy is limited. You are given a set number of sessions and then they close the case even if you need more help. You have to re-apply from stage one again. This is not a helpful way to do things, therapy should continue until it's either not needed anymore or the therapist has determined that therapy can not help.
I am now 51 years old and have a severe anxiety disorder called Avoidant Personality Disorder. Some of the symptoms include high anxiety in social situations, fear of how others perceive you (in person for me, not so much online or I would not be writing this!), low self esteem, and little to no self worth. People like me require the help of family or friends to help keep them motivated and moving forward in the therapy. I have a family that does not care and no friends close enough, both physically and socially, to help. I am on my own. So when the therapy I was getting stopped due to the reason mentioned above I am back to square one and feeling it's not worth my time going through all the hurdles to get the therapy started again because I feel I am not worth it. Having them cut me off when I was progressing but still needed more help just reinforces that feeling.

Away MyLuz, Heal yourself. Reduce negative thoughts. Its quite simple. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts and anxiety For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back erect, hands on lap with palms upwards, eyes closed, be still and observe your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 10-15 minutes or more. Slowly negative thoughts will reduce and relax the mind. Deep inhalation is not needed. Whenever you are free during the day or night before sleep sit or lie down still and observe your breath. Being still reduces negative thoughts. Do the above practice daily to have a good life. Best wishes and prayers. Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor.

No, it's not supposed to be easy. It's tricky. We know this because an entire industry is forming around helping people with this issue. I know what you mean when you say everything feels impossible. But trust me, it isn't. It's not always easy, and sometimes it is impossible. But often it's doable! Sometimes, when you feel like you've given all you can, there's just a little bit more in you that you didn't even know you had. And when you use it and it helps you, that's a good feeling.

The main cause of anxiety is stress on the central nervous system. The main cause of this is noise pollution, especially bleeping alarms. Although, like cigarette smoke, the human being can adapt to not breathing properly it still causes cancer. Exactly like that, bleeping alarms put unprecedented stress on the nervous system creating anxiety and all manner of mental troubles. In our culture due to health and safety we are constantly in a state of heightened alarm creating ill health for everyone as a result we have a huge rise in mental illness. This is exactly corresponding to the science carried out on noise pollution levels. If we stop the needless alarms, the endless and perpetual bleeping of vehicles reversing and reduce noise pollution from cars by having one day of the week where the environment must be quiet I promise you mental illness will reduce again.
