I am sold on POF. Just ordered my first, the POF minuteman DI 5.56 in black. RIP frank. Hope the company continues to offer great products that will make you proud for years to come.
I'm saving up for a POF Renegade.... now I need to start saving up for a POF Revolution. I have a Springfield M1A National Match rifle and thought I would never find a better 308 rifle. POF has changed my mind about that.
My ultimate firearm is thr POF revolution.308 it is weight and size of a .556 and as robust and reliable as any rifle, the is a .308 in a ar15 package, my next will be a p415 in 13.7-14.5" barrel suppressed with eotech sight blue force sling and BCM for grip, and rare breed trigger, this is a true duty grade battle rifle with the most reliable long lasting robust accurate platform. I was going to get a renegade but i already have a DI .556 from PSA and its accurate and reliable and lightweight, next is a piston driven AR, the bread and butter of POF is the P415 and i believe it is the most reliable robust precise firearm ever made. Glock3, pump shotgun, p415, 1911, bolt action Winchester, colt revolver, most reliable platforms ever, and the AR platform goes to POF P415!
Even NOW, edging (Pun INTENDED🇺🇸) towards the beginning of 2023, …Frank’s loss is STILL FELT..!!!! We lost a GREAT Firearms Engineer, BUT AN EVEN GREATER PATRIOT in Frank DeSomma! Keep Him Safe & READY in Your Arms, LORD!🇺🇸
Thank you so much for the kind words. We are honored to be able to make something that you enjoy and that you would choose us to spend your hard earned money on.
I have the new POF 308 and I have only shot 20 rounds out of it so far. But it runs really smooth no lie guys. My wife shot a couple of rounds through it and she could handle it no problem great gun.
Im interested in buying a revolution, but what i liked about it was the piston system. I hope pof could answer my question. In regards to the revolution rifle, is the piston system better? I was under the impression it is better. But the new 2019 is di gas.. thanks
Depends on your priorities. Piston might go longer without cleaning, but DI is generally better accuracy because no moving mass up front. I'd go with DI, since the whole concept is having a 308 in a small package, and the DI is lighter than piston.
Our roots are in piston, obviously that's what we like and prefer, but folks still wanted lighter and smaller out of the revolution, so the Revolution DI is our answer to that. The answer to "Better" all really depends on what you prefer. The piston is going to run cleaner and is tried and true die hard. The DI still is hard to kill, but it will run a little dirtier and you'll have to clean it more, but it's lighter too. They both have similar excellent accuracy. What do you like?
@@pofusa well thats acctually a really helpfull answer. I appreciate the information thank you... Ive been thinking about getting one. I think i want the piston version.. im only planning to get 1 ar style 308.. so i wanna pick a good one. I think the pof would be a safe bet for a hi end very nice rifle.
barrel length options and accuracy? you know you are going to need to talk about these things. and you are going to need to get a side charging model. just saying
@@pofusa Yes, I do. With the piston 7.62 at 16.5 for "battle," how about a more dedicated hunting option like the .350 Legend you're already in with the Minuteman, in a 20" fluted barrel, please. (ok, 18.5 if unwilling to go 20...) No need to go 6.5 Cm unless it's going to be hyper-accurate for looooong range. and to really up the Ask... a Left Eject for once? The Gen 4 lowers are so wonderfully ambi-- and a lot of people for whatever reasons are Left Eye Dominant, it's not just handedness. Thanks!
I called the company and they told me that the P300 was back in R&D and it would be about a year before we could expect to see it again. That broke my heart.
@@TheLoveleader1 There's nothing wrong. We will release it when it meets or exceeds our all of our expectations. There are times when a product is at a point where we could build and sell it and let the chips fall where they may, but we aren't going to do that. We have to be happy with it first. This battle is truly in the final few percent, and those details are ours to worry about. We are sorry that our team got so excited and announced it prematurely. It will come. Enjoy it when it does.
*THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT IS YOU DON'T OFFER OTHER CALIBERS LIKE THE .243 WHICH IS A MUCH BETTER ROUND THAN YOUR OFFERING!* *POF SHOULD OFFER THE CALIBERS YOUR CUSTOMERS WANT, BUT AT A PRICE NO HIGHER THAN $1700.* *ANYTHING BEYOND THAT, PATRIOTS WILL LOOK ELSEWHERE WHICH MEANS, YOU'RE WAY OVER PRICE FOR A COMPLETE RIFLE UNLIKE THE BROVO @ $1700.*
i dont think .243 is nato spec!!! so it really isnt better the 308 can do everything it can do and you can afford ammo and find it everywhere!!!! Good luck finding steel case .243
It isn't really necessary to spend the money you're asking to have a functional rifle with all the bells and whistles that drives the price by 1/3 to 2/3's more, which the majority of people will pass on their price. We don't need a Mercedes to get us from A to B at those prices, it's ridiculous! The military is happy with their AR rifles as we are!!
I am caught between the revolution and the P308 Edge. My only concern is with the smaller bolt. I need a go to war gun that I can depend on. Is there any evidence that this gun can handle 5,000+ rounds? A meltdown video would be ideal. I also understand that i'm not the only person that is thinking this about the new gun.
Check out Alabama Arsenals review of the 308 revolution. They do 1000+ rounds. If you're not convinced after that 20+ minute review, go somewhere else. But let me know.
@@pofusa There are more than one choice. A simple internet search will show that. I have built a couple AR's over the yrs, and it is really nice to not have a face full of gas especially when suppressed. I think you build a great weapon just wish the left handed upper was an option.
Are you kidding us...your rifles are simply too expensive! We'd rather build our own for much less and have enough left over to enjoy shooting them. Most shooters are not willing to spend that kind of money to own an AR-15...it's just wistful spending!

#POF Will you please put your 18.5" .308 barrel on the new Revolution DI?
16.5 is good, but I could sure use that length for distance shots
Need to bring back the fluted barrels on the P415s by far was the best barrel!!

Plenty of patriots. Fish can't make guns. You know, being fish and all.......
Plenty of patriots should be making guns. Especially with new innovations. This is America. Not the disarmed world.
