Hi Nehal. I too tried to install the F21 (x64) in the way that you have mentioned in the video. But I see that you already have an efi partition in the windows. How did you create that. I'm using Windows 8.1 (x64) and want to do dual booting.
Have you done an install where Windows is on the primary drive and Fedora on a separate secondary drive? Will the Fedora installer handle that? I haven't come across any install videos like that.
Yes, I have done that too. Fedora installer can handle that too!
Just make sure that when you choose a the HDD to install Fedora, you choose the secondary drive before selecting manual configuration of partitioning

Depends upon how you much you are gonna use it. I usually keep 40% o the HDD for Windows and rest for Fedora.

I have followed your instrucitons and I got to the part where you create partitions automatically(2:05) and when i press that i get the following error: no valid bootloader targed device found.
Do you have any idea how I could fix this.
+PaxKing Please share the partitioning scheme that you selected. Is your Windows installed in Legacy mode or UEFI mode? If UEFI, did you get a /boot/efi mount point? If Legacy, did you create a /boot mount point?

It is possible to do a dual boot. Please fire up a terminal and share the output of the command:
sudo gdisk -l /dev/sda
after installation as above, when i try to power on it is directly going into my windows 8.1 without showing as fedora 23 which i installed

After I installed Fedora 20 on Windows 7(dual boot), I am not getting windows boot manager which can boot into windows. only fedora option is available and hence by default , Fedora is booting. Any Idea !, how can I get my windows 7 back !

Hey have you been able to boot Linux off the Windows 8 boot manager? Where you enter Windows 8 boot manager and it gives you the option to boot windows or Linux in UEFI. I tried doing so but it gives me a error about missing EFI file even though it's there. If you solve this can you make a How-To video.
I love grub. It is easier to configure. What is so special about the Windows bootloader?
I just like the graphical boot menu that all really. but I'll just use grub for now since i can't get the Windows boot manager to work with Linux.

When you say, "Old Architecture ( Old Bios, No Legacy or UEFI )" This is wrong. Old architecture means: Legacy. Now, since you are able to boot Windows in Legacy mode and not UEFI, it means that your Windows installation is in Legacy Mode. Which means you have MBR partitioning scheme. Which means you cannot create more than 4 Primary partitions. Now, you have two choices:
(i) Created an extended partition and install Fedora in Legacy Mode
(ii) Convert your Windows installation from Legacy to UEFI following my video (ruclips.net/video/Qk6_K9hVu_k/видео.html)
I would suggest you to go for (i), but if you are brave, go for (ii). In both cases, make sure that secure boot is disabled in BIOS. In case you need further help, please boot into Windows and share the pic after opening diskmgmt.msc
Rashid Samoo First of All when i Change Bios in Legacy than W7 start, If i Change bios in UEFI mode than gives me error ( no boot device ) , I change into legacy and W7 open and 160Gb unallocated space for Linux fedora, but fedora usb can boot ( i must press F12 than select usb ) so usb boot , but when select install destination and try automaticaly or ( + /boot , /swap , / ) but gives me error ( no bootloader targeted device found see below for details for a UEFI installation you must include a EFi system partition on GPT- formated disk mounted at /boot/efi ) this error i got,
when i change bios into UEFI than window7 cant run and fedora usb booted automaticaly but same issue when i select isntall detinaion,
what precaution i will follow for dual boot,?? which bios i select?? Hard disk GPT format or MBR format?

Make sure that when you boot Fedora Installation device, you do so in Legacy Mode, and not UEFI mode. Also, please boot into windows and share the picture for what disk management shows.
installed fedora 22 on legacy with 8.1 everything worked out but after i update, and restart i cant boot into fedora(both new and previous version) it shows a black blinking screen,. AMD apu dual graphics laptop

+Vikas Kyatannawar See if there is a file at this location: /etc/X11/xorg.conf and list out any files present in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d . If you see the the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf, move it to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.bak and reboot.

When you see the blinking thing, just press ctrl+alt+f4 and then enter your username and password and you will get a shell.
