The challenge is being in that meditative condition right through out the day ( other than sleep of course).
I agree just doing morning and evening meditation in a peaceful environment doesn’t go all the way in helping us get through the remaining majority of hours where challenges arise just like in a “battlefield” comes up.
Someone talks angrily to you, then and there how you deal with it? so that it doesn’t settle and replayed in your mind again and again for days or more. Solution if it happens..? Step aside if not safe, count to 10, pause, collect your thoughts take it as noise..,invite Mettha.. love kindness for self and spread it to the other party ( all in thought) It is carrying imbibing the meditation condition to neutralise the situation at that point is important.
I think you have to face it, experience it at the start with will power bringing on that meditative attributes until it becomes automatic reaction.
Easy to say but we fall in to the trap 😊
I've tried to meditate. But I do it a few days and then I stop. Then an issue arises and I start.
I guess I have to do it like how we eat food. Daily habbit.
I'm work in progress I guess.
Yes i have try meditation everyday and meditation has boosted my mood and overall sense of well-being, helping me feel more positive and resilient.
