  • For the first time in more than five decades, Cleveland has a championship trophy.
Thousands of fans celebrated as their city won its first major sports title in 52 years, when the Cavaliers beat Golden State 93 to 89.
Less than two years ago, LeBron James returned home to Cleveland and made an audacious promise to win a title.
James was named M-V-P of the finals for leading his team to victory.
The Cavaliers are the first franchise in n-b-a history to overcome a three games to one deficit in the finals.
Jericka Duncan grew up in Cleveland reports from the city's Quicken Loans Arena.

@@demontiakpinkney5881 dude, maybe Lakers weren't super-team, but without question they were the best team in 2020, easily the best team in the league and if you don't know, that was the easiest title in the last 40 years and there are stats that proves it. Competition was one of the easiest ever because his biggest rivals were injured and also Lakers were insanee team that year, do you know when was the last time when both players in the same team were first all NBA players? More than 50 years ago, soo he had another teammate who is first NBA team, it was Anthony Davis, than Howard and MgGee who were exellent in defense, than play off Rondo who had 45% from 3 point range in play offs, Danny Green, maybe that year those players weren't soo good, Howard was old, Danny Green wasn't like before, butthose players are definitely stars and when they go they will remember like one of the greats in this era, but anyway, Lakers were clearly withthe best roster in the league so I don't give a damn about those Lebron's titles, because he didn't proved he can win without too much supporting cast. Kobe had only Pau Gasol who, is worse than Davis, Wade and Irving and all other are just average played and players who aren't hakl of famers soo Kobe did the harder way.
