To all haters, you don't know how difficult is to reach that level of training, to have the agility, precision and strenght to make that jumps, i am a yellow belt and today is my exam, taekwondo is my inspiration so don't judge for the appearence.
Great technique! I really enjoyed this video! I teach at my church but not that kick cause I've yet to be able to do it!! I love that kick! Especially the credit you give to our Saviour!! :)
Pure awesomeness :) Had a guy in my tae kwon do club who did one of these with 2 kicks mixed in, in a sparring contest testing for 1.kyu. That dude was terrifying. They drove him so hard he was so tired at the end when he was supposed to break the brick with a strike, so he jumped into a split on his way down to get his weight better into the blow :) Cool vid. (And good music ;) )
Oh man! I have been trying to do this kick ever since i first saw this video, but I just can't do it. Thanks for sharing! Greetings from Rapido Realismo Kali Philippines!
Haha, I watched this video when I was a kid ten years ago, It gives me a nostalgic feeling hearing this music and seeing your old work. You never know who you are inspiring in life man... Dang :)
every1 please remember. this takes extreme practice. this isnt a standard kick in taekwondo. ive been training for 14 yrs and without practice nothing will happen. im still in the process oif mastering this kick and its been 7 months already. practice makes perfect which is apparent in this video
what you're saying is right for most people who train tkd. but i myself look at other disciplines and arts and i see what makes them effective, and i can easily adapt my tkd training to suit my needs in effectiveness. so it does depend on the practitioner
ahh i remember when i used to do taekwondo me and my little bro were purple belts but we stopped after we moved like 2 times after thank you master Jason and Master Ron thank you
Hapkido (also spelled hap ki do or hapki-do) is a dynamic and eclectic Korean martial art. It is a form of self-defense that employs joint locks, pressure points, throws, kicks, and other strikes.
appreciated :) well, that being said, u do have a point...relying on microfractures only helps if done as part of a routine...the key is consistency... smashing your hand against a cement block at random times throughout the week is very unlikely to do anything but break your hand...it has to be done in moderation and...like i said...as part of a routine
It's great for kicks etc. But it's a soft sport.. It's for looking elegant and beautiful.. Mostly an art sport. Though the guy in the video is great! Takes a lot of practice and dedication!
OMG...is all i have to say damn that kick is amazing ...let me re-phrase that Those KICKS are awsome!! I could only do a 360 dbl kick...and I'm only a red 3rd degree belt...wow!
i do boxing muy thai, and kickboxing, BJJ and kenpo, and i have to say, i love to throw puches, knees, elbows, and high kicks, but wow, tai kwon do has some kick ass kicks, doubt that would work in a real fight, but still that kicks ass... nice vid... wooooo maybe i can get a strick force contract if i use a kick like that to finish my fight jahahaha
@KoryoJin thanks alot . so i just have to keep trying the kick till i get a longer hangtime? the problem is my last kick i don't have enough time to execute it and end up on the ground. when is move my left leg forward at the beginning should i do it fast? so you are no more into tkd?
@chooechooe the word TaeKwonDo was made only 50 years ago. Too many believe that Korean martial art was from India. I happen to believe there was a much older type simular to muay thai from northern Korea. Older than TaeKyun
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW THEY BUILD THAT KICKING STAND? Especially how the attachment arm from the pole sticking from the tire was built? Some help would be greatly appreciated!
I partially agree. However, the biggest flaw I see in MMA is that: 1. Bring an enemy to the ground with multiple accomplices isn't wise 2. There's no jumping (at all!). Which I belive is an essential part in MA/they're not light on there feet -might dance in the first round, then lack of cardio gives them concrete shoes 3. Heavy relience on muscle mass which slows them down and disfigures technique
about time i see a correct 540 kick. i saw a bunch of videos, that call the bolley kick a 540.. i was lke woww.. these ppl cant tell the difrence, this video actually shows the 540 so thats good! lol
Wow; this is no disrespect to the martial artist in this clip at ALL, but I was JUST thinking the exact same thing! But just in case, I'm sure it's nice to know you CAN kick that high!
man.. how do they do this Im so confused it makes no sense how? how did they come up with these moves where did they start OMG aHHHHHHHHHH its soo awsome
Regarding fighters that practice high kicks, you'd be surprised how fast their low kicks are. Power comes from technique; if the technique is good it will be there. All striking arts give you very similar fundamentals; it is the individual fighter that puts those fundamental to good use or poor.
And this is what i said. The first two kicks have to be feints. 2 feints are enough to realize that you should block. If the last kick really lands, you're out.
lol i finally got it down!!! but i think the hardest part is actually kicking... most ppl tend to just stick their leg out expecting it will be powerful, not the case its actually rly rly hard to gain power from spinning, the way u get power is from ur kick. I'd say this is just as powerful as any other back hook or 360 jumpin back hook. I couldnt even break a thin board with this kick... or maybe i just suck idk
fyi, the point of hitting hard objects isn't to build calices...its based on the same scientific principles behind exercising your muscles...the reason you 'become stronger' by working out is because you tear your muscles during the session...when the tears are repaired, your body over compensates to be able to better handle the next session...similarly with bone, hitting a hard object would cause microfractures which the body will attempt to re-calcify thus making the bone stronger over time...
love this video been watching it for 5 yrs now lol!
Thank you
To all haters, you don't know how difficult is to reach that level of training, to have the agility, precision and strenght to make that jumps, i am a yellow belt and today is my exam, taekwondo is my inspiration so don't judge for the appearence.
My jaw dropped...
Great technique! I really enjoyed this video! I teach at my church but not that kick cause I've yet to be able to do it!! I love that kick! Especially the credit you give to our Saviour!! :)
I love moves like this, Harnesses the speed and spin, and shoots it in a slamming 3 kick rising combo. God, I envy people like this.
Pure awesomeness :) Had a guy in my tae kwon do club who did one of these with 2 kicks mixed in, in a sparring contest testing for 1.kyu. That dude was terrifying. Cool vid. (And good music ;) )

Apparently the guy doing the 540 kick is a believer of christ. its his video after all. Great Job! Loved the Video! I Love Christ too!
That is unblievable :D, must of taken a lot of work to get that good. im not so sure about its practicality, but that is absolutely amazing.
i was waiting for you to drop the word "microfractures"
since you did, i'll admit you're probably right :p
Love the video. And gotta love the end too =)
Haha, I watched this video when I was a kid ten years ago, It gives me a nostalgic feeling hearing this music and seeing your old work. You never know who you are inspiring in life man... Dang :)

Beautiful to watch. Years to learn and Master. Useless in real life.
"100% of fights start standing, 90% end up on the floor, train for that 90%"
HAHAAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
dude, thats why i love youtube. better than any comedy show
song is Audio Adrenaline - Get Down
The last 3 kicks were like 720 instead. Amazing

DAMN! That was great!! :D
Wow; this is no disrespect to the martial artist in this clip at ALL, but I was JUST thinking the exact same thing! But just in case, I'm sure it's nice to know you CAN kick that high!
This vid is uploaded before I come to this world, and I am a martial arts 🥋 student I have belt upto blue.
@MultiBoy1995 1 second lasts longer than you might think. It's not the logo, it's right between the kick and logo. for a fraction of a second
Very impressive. That's the best I've seen, I guess its expected from Korea.
wow! i like taekwondo verry much
man.. how do they do this Im so confused it makes no sense how? how did they come up with these moves where did they start OMG aHHHHHHHHHH its soo awsome

i´m training since 2002 and i´m still miles away from such kicks xD
Какое применение на практике имеют эти прыжки? Кроме растраты энергии и риска повредить лодыжку при неправильном приземлении
HOLY SHIT that was totaly amazing.
@fafneyparis Maybe it was taken from a video clip and didn't notice the extra.
if pettis landed this he would be in the hall of fame
hi nice to meet you
