Kids would be scared and would ruin their childhood when this happens.

The Scream Extractor from Monsters Inc. used to scared me too! It scared me because it looked like one of those global anesthesia masks and machines that doctors put you on to help you go to sleep before they start to do surgery on you. Those things scared me when I was a kid because I was afraid that I might never wake up or die during surgery because it does some happen sometimes during surgery and the smell is horrible!
I know doctors used them to get the patient that's about go to surgery to go to sleep so they can operate without any problems that's fine I totally respect that but still it's scary to think about what might happen if you don't wake up or worse wake up during surgery!
When I see that Scream Extractor from Monsters Inc. it always reminds me of those global anesthesia machines at hospitals. They kinda scare me but don't scare me as much as anymore but it's still scary to think about it even when you're a kid!

The Scream Extractor scene for me wasn't particularly scary, but it WAS very intense.

There aren't a lot of scenes that traumatized or scared me as a kid, but some of them that kind of scared me included:
-The whale scene from Finding Nemo
-A few scenes from Baby Einstein VHS tapes, where they showcase random toys on a black background. One of them was a monkey I believe that just acted crazy onscreen.
Also, if I'm being a bit honest, I find the gorilla scene to be quite hilarious when I first watched it. I feel like it's one of the few live action/stop-motion creatures onscreen, the others being that spotted white horse in the same episode, and the T. rex from this scene from "SpongeBob B.C": ruclips.net/video/WEo7I8mjndE/видео.html
(Correct me if I'm wrong because I haven't seen a lot of SpongeBob)
When I watched the Chicken Run Pie Machine, I didn't really get scared of it. I just thought it looked action packed, and in fact, quite liked it actually. But yes, it does have a scary concept to it, like chickens getting cooked alive in there.

So. I have a couple things to say.
One thing I'm just gonna mention is the "Flying Fail" scene from Rio (2011). I dunno if I should say I was flat out scared of it, but that scene was just *PURE INSANITY.* Some of my classmates in school found the scene kind of funny, but that scene was enough to give me slight motion sickness because it was just so crazy.
And now, our side comments! (OK, ik, that was a terrible joke)
    1. I am fairly familiar with that Fib from Larryboy and The Giant Fib, but not with the Robot Chicken (I'd make a reference to the show with the same name but I can't think of any jokes for it💀) scene.
    2. I blame your sister for that #4 spot, that was all her fault XD (Don't get offended, I'm just playing around lol)

Roald Dahl had nothing to do with the Wily Wonka puppet welcome, as no such scene appears in the original book, and the film was made after Dahl's passage. Not that Dahl couldn't come up with a nightmare idea of his own. One that comes to mind is the Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Dahl wrote the screenplay for that film, and used very little from Ian Flemming's book.

Strangely the Child Catcher never traumatized me. Mainly because I didn't watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang a lot when I was a kid.
