If you haven't tried one, you must try a muffaletta from Central Grocery in New Orleans. I used to eat them as a kid growing up. They were niche food for us Italian Americans back in the 50's, 60's and 70's, but they have become very popular over the years.
Failure #1 was calling the Mortadella ........Mortatella, there is no such thing as Mortatella! Failure #2 was not giving the bread a sprinkling of EVOO prior to putting it under the broiler. Failure #3 you put it in the oven on bake! it should have been broiled!
Looks good. Wrap them tight in paper for 5 to 10 minutes and they will be twice as good. Lets all them flavors become friends.
Omgosh this is my favorite sub. When I was pregnant with my first son I CRAVED these! That was over 30 years ago believe it or not. He's now 37 .

So rich in vegetables making it healthier and more filling. So simple, I really like this.
Only problemis that they just don't make them in Italy.
Italy's loss

Failure#1. If you can't deal with a misspelling you are truly stupid,
