There are 3 racers who challenge you in a total of 7 locations.
I can say for sure that cross-wining would NOT give you the speed bonus. You'll have to beat the same racer twice in order to get the speed bonus.

@@hyperborean. its actually not the exact same spot. I showed the general locations on the map I typically get her to spawn 1:48 - 2:11. I capture the gameplay footage accordingly as I play. As you know, the random encounters spawn VERY randomly, so I may capture footage from a previous playthrough that aligns with the purpose of the video I create. It’s more about showing my audience how to get the max speed rather than if the video shows her spawn in the same spot (from a previous playthrough). I just wanna say, I hope y’all keep this same energy toward other content creators equally because y’all be on my @ss about every little detail😩
@@RockworthRDR2 I meant that the destination of both races was the same, Catfish Jackson.
One of the races end at Caliga Hall, and one ends at Catfish Jackon.

Not only a great video - but one of the most "informative" RDR2 video's I've ever watched.... very well put together Rockworth (looking forward now, to watching some of your other vids ; )
Awesome video. I found her once North of Rhodes while I was riding around on my Nokota, and I beat her pretty easily. I had trouble finding her again. After watching this, I went to the other area with my Arabian, and there she was. I crushed her.
Some tips:
1. If you see her horse's head appear behind you, get right in front her and block her, racecar-style.
2. Cut as many corners as you can. You don't have to stay directly on the path.
3. Expand your radar so you can see all the turns more easily, and inject your horse with stimulant just prior to searching for her.
Now my two Arabians (white and warped brindle) are nines, my palomino dapple American Standardbred is an eight, and my brindle Thoroughbred (only $450 at the Strawberry stable) is a TEN.
I wish I could keep these horses for the rest of the game...

There were so many black female horse jockeys at the turn of the century. I’m glad rdr2 has represented them here.
There are 4 race encounter locations, not two. You can also just steal their horse if you want. The brindle thoroughbred that the lady rides south of Rhodes has max speed if speed is all you care about.
The context of the video is to show players how to get +3 max speed, not just stealing a fast horse. Winning the two races gives you the extra yellow bar needed to max out, which will be applied to all your horses. The two locations I showed is where I get her to spawn fairly consistently and where I encountered her in the video. The amount of locations is irrelevant as long as you encounter her.

Beaver, panther and snake saddles from the trapper are the best.
+ there are two more npcs to race with. Make a video with their locations.
The trapper saddles are for a separate video. This is a way to get the max +3 speed with minimal effort. I addressed the other two npc’s in the video. When I encounter them again I’ll record and make the content
Tip if you want rose gray arabian or any other horse in chapter 2 just delete game and re-download with out internet. Then after you aquire all epilogue horses and gold glitch you can turn on internet and update from 1.0 to current version. Must have disc.

I read that a patch on pc made the trapper saddles now give u the same boost the stirrups give so trapper saddles are better in every single way now

On PS4 as well, in both Story Line as Online. Plus the beaver roper saddle has i.m.o. the best drain stats.
@@GamingDriver66RDR u think? Life stat is not that important I think panther is better bc of the stamina drain I think stamina is way important than life on a horse

If you do it as Arthur you wont have to do it as John. To my knowledge the race perks will automatically carry over to john

Holy shit! I've played this game all the way through 4 times and even got 100% completion and I never knew that racing the AI strangers would increase my horses speed. I always blew them off cause they wanted to race when I was focused on another task.

@@AresSTArK No. Only 100% completion once. The other tree playthoughs, I only focused on the main story. I didn't think it was necessary to play blackjack for 20 hours....like in the 8th Gamber Challenge. 😂

Question: if I don't accept the race in the past. Does race opportunity come again in the future? I think I accidentally rejected a race from a guy earlier in chapter 2.
I’m sure your chance of encountering that racer again decreases. But there are more than one npc that will wanna race so you’ll have another opportunity
i actually denied two of the race nps early because i was doing some challenges and they didnt appear for a long time but after waiting for some in game days and roaming around the area i got one of them and i won the first race. I guess it just takes a long time in game ig like some weeks in game for them to appear again. But i read somewhere that the probability of them spawning decreases as you go into later chapters. Hope this helps :)

missouri fox trotter has level 10 speed which is max, will it increase any further?

You can’t add stirrups to trapper saddles partner. They’re permanently set the way they are.

Bro for the life of me I can't get these npcs to spawn I've tried this lady chapter 2 no spawning I've also tried the old man who shoots his horse won't spawn last time I got an npc to spawn it was by fort wallace and it was only one race never seen him again or any race npcs and that was when I was trying to complete the game then I gave up but I have restarted and am on chapter 2 a quiet time and have tried all the lady's spawn locations and nothing same with the old guy who shoots his horse I ain't trying the guy at fort wallace cause I believe he only races once ANY ADVISE Bro?

My personal preference would be Beaver and Panther Saddle stat wise. But look wise, Pather Saddle all the way. That thing is beautiful and sure looks comfy as hell..

What if you decline their races once can it happen again?
They’ll reappear eventually. It can be hard to spawn when you’re actually looking for it, so I suggest you accept the race.

Never tested if she respawns or not afterwards, however there are other racers throughout the map that will allow you to get the bonuses, but you’ll still have to race them twice.

I’ve only gotten it by beating the same rider twice. I haven’t tested the theory of beating another rider for the 2nd perk. Beating that same guy again will “ensure” you get the perk.

Do they let you do shortcuts? Like way off the yellow trail shortcuts🙃? Or does it just fail you if your off by more than a few feet or something...

I just started another playthrough after 2 years and a half, I encountered the guy that wants to race you to Devil's Ridge but he got himself and his horse killed by a wagon near Cumberland Yard...does he respawn or?
I dont think so, thats the reason for multiple.
Theres a guy by Fort Wallace if you're having touble finding people.
