Great Video - I need to move the Thermostat to another cupboard outwith the bathroom - Can I use normal (2.5) twin & earth to extend the matting cable?
Hi Great Video and detailed explanation , I have one question, if you or anyone expert can answer. I think my Thermostat is blown, I am going to replace the thermostat. This was installed by builders and is powered from RCD to a 45A double pole switch then on to Thermostat. I think not right.??. Can you suggest the safe approach for the spur. Do I use 13A fused double pole switch or 20A double pole switch. UFH for 12.3 sqm and reading resistance 29ohms & 1722W . Just need clarification please. Many thanks. BM
I only want a single thermostat, so if I have two separate underfloor heating mats, can I combine the live and earths of both mats into a single terminal of the thermostat?
hi thanks for the valuable videos and clear information , do have any video shows the repairing of electrical UFH (under floor heating) as i have same company you installing ProWarm i check with them it & my thermostats is working (according to prowarm) & i checked all cables as you video it all right But still no heating at all!! can you show how to run resistant test & insulation resistance test if possible on the same UFH .
Two wires (Live and Neutral) should come directly from the mat. The sensor should have its separate wires. You should have got a sensor with a wire in the box
Thank you for this demonstration. I had a question. The output of my heating mat is 200w/sqm, the matting is 18m^2., Total output=3600watts, which requires 3600/230=15.7amps. I have wired this as the 1st example using a 13a fuse spur from an RCD protected socket to the thermostat - Can I still wire this to a 13amp FCU, will it just limit the power to 13 amps => 2990watts max, Or would this just overload the circuit?
Wow this was the simplest, clearest video I've come across. Thanks so much! Now I just need to know how to wire it into the main power supply 😂
Great video. Very clear and comprehensive explanation with all feasible planning scenarios covered.
where the earth wire connect to?
Such a great video, simple and clear explanation. Helps to plan ahead on everything I need.
Thanks for your video's i learning a lot form you uploaded more please if you have please Thank you
Excellent video! thanks for taking the time to do it.
But where would the earth go from the fused spur
Great video, explained the theory and demonstrated it. Thank you
We loved your video so much we bought the whole kit. Well done for a great video 👍🏽
This video is helpful, we are trying to connect the contactor but dont know how it should be wired.
Very clear explanation - thanks

Very explanatory video Thank you
When using 2 Matt's and a fused spur is needed do I connect underfloor floor heating cables to the fused spur and then the 2.5 to the thermostat?
Great video
Thanks for this video. It was really helpful 👍
would love to see how u wire the contactor from the thermostat
What happens with the earth's? Are the mains earth and floor earth just screwed to the back box now?
I have spur socketed which was used for old storage rads, can I use these to power the UFH, making sure it doesn't go over 13A
Great video.what is wiring diagram for 2 or 3 mats exceeding the 16Amp please?
Excellent video God bless you sir
Thanks pal, very informative 👍

Looking to get one of these . The seller has said that it can run from a 13 amp fused spur for 3m squared. Is this correct?
Soo easy to follow. Thank you.

Can I wire a twin impeller water pump and underfloor heating thermostat to one spur?
Respect 📢

Hi what make is the thermostat and mat youv used can you post the link please for the price etc thanks
Why don't you check out his other videos or investigate for yourself.
How do you wire 2 or 3 mats to the thermostat?
Did you work this out. That's what I'm currently wondering?
I got an electrician to do it, he used a contactor, in the video he mentions it at 3:15
Brilliant guide, thanks for posting it.
Please show video showing how to wire using 3 core cable for underfloor heating and normal air heating
Great video keep it up good work mate
Can I use 13A FCU for 8m2 160W underfloor heating ?
Great vid. Well explained
Does it really matter which way round the mat is connected? Isn't it just a resistive cable?
Brilliant video, but where are the sensor wires coming from ??
Two wires (Live and Neutral) should come directly from the mat. The sensor should have its separate wires. You should have got a sensor with a wire in the box
Helpful thanks.
well explained
Lovely, fantastic
Hi
How do i wire 2 matt to one thermostat pls ?
Can you install for me? Based in london
Hi my underfloor heating is not working. Thermostat working light shows but no heat

16A on a 13A FCU will overload your circuit at max usage and trip your RCD. Not recommended to use 13A FCD for 16A output
You legend.
Can I use a plug using a 3amp fuse (I'm using 3m²)? Why the need for 16amp mcb?
Great explanation 👍
What about sensor cable, is it matter which way you connect it?
pawel porebski he did mention doesn’t matter what colour went where.
thank you for this good information
What about regular thermostat for combi (water / heating) boiler?
What about it?
stop touching the bare wires , im worried for you 😛
completely idiot proof.thanks
I appreciate your work and explanation - you helped me a lot thank you! top man 🧍♂️
