Thank you for that❤️! It's true though! I thought it was just universally known that when a vampire, werewolf, zombie, and etc, movie comes out, it's always a retelling of the original stories including the original 'Dark Cinematic Universe' films. This is a retelling of the classic Frankenstein tale, like we've seen executed MANY times before, including 'Edward Scissorhands'. Some people don't make that connection though that Edward Scissorhands is a Frankenstein tale. It's weird cause I didn't even make that connection till more recently. I think cause I watched it so much as a kid that I just took it for what it was and didn't think about the similarities between Edward and Frankenstein's monster. But There's just something so special about Lisa Frankenstein. This is a film that I'm very passionate about and will not stand for anything negative to be said about it 🤣
😅Great reaction as always, and Rob that dog adores you. As for the superglue, I use to put it on the palm of hand, wait for it to dry, and peel it off. It's weird, but so satisfying.
🙋🏻♀️ 80's girl here... YES Freshen Up was a gum back then lol✌🏻 Also I think soap in the mouth was more of a thing in like the 50's or 60's? I don't know anyone who had that done to them haha
My dad was very 60s mindset so in the early 90s when I was little he enforced the soap in the mouth thing. I think it just depends on the parents lol. Also I really wish I had some freshmint gum again
90s baby, here. My parents put soap in my mouth as a kid in the 2000s 😭 But we were also a conservative Mormon household, so that might have played a role 💀💀💀
First things first, Love the singing Rob! 🖤 such a nice ending to a good movie reaction. I'll be honest with you, when I first saw the announcement to this movie I wasn't sure how I felt about it. It wasn't really catching my attention, but I ended up watching it about two weeks after it came out and it was such a fun watch. Also, I heard you mentioning that you've never seen Coraline? I would highly recommend for you to watch it and maybe give us a reaction to it? lol Anyways, I'll be looking forward to the next one. 😊
Wait YOU haven’t seen Coraline? Maybe that should be added to a reaction list!! It’s a cartoon but it’s definitely creepy and weird! This movie was wild!!! 😅 also love the bestfriend energy with you too!!! Haha! The karaoke video you posted on IG makes so much more sense after seeing this move 😂 another awesome reaction !!!
@@therobw haha yep this movie was just like Frankenweenie 🤣🤣 I did also get some Edward scissorhand vibes too & warm hearts I love the reaction but tbh didn’t love the movie I’d give it a 4/10
@@ashd2179It's not really my style when it comes to movies but I knew Scarlet wanted to watch a movie and I thought this would be good. I'm not gonna drop something heavy on a friend....hope that makes sense.
@@therobw I thought the reaction was awesome and doing these type of movies does help your channel grow 😊 I like goofy movies like this usually just sometimes it’s get a little too camp for me lol 😆 I’m glad Scarlett likes it though hope we see more double reactions in the future too! I have a movie recommendation for you to react to: MALUM (2023), this film is a remake of Last Shift, but with a more detailed story and more grotesque moments, you'll like it.
3:33 That "beauty queen" is Liza Soberano, an actress from my country, the Philippines. This is her first Hollywood role.
She’s great. Such a fun character for this type of movie.
“Necromantic” is my new favorite word and a perfect tagline for this film.
saying this movie is ripping off edward scissorhands is crazy, they’re both inspired by frankenstein, of course there’s gonna be similarities

Da Nang was a small village in Vietnam. It's in the history books, guys.
To my credit, I did assume it was Vietnam afterwards. Just didn’t make the Final Cut. You’re right though…we should’ve known that.
Plus it was a huge South Park joke back in the day. Man, its so long ago. The character with the voice box talks about he was stationed in Da Nang…
Thanks for arrogantly pointing that out 🙄🥱
"We need to bring goth back"
*Me watching this in full goth*

I was born in the 80's and I know my parents used the soap on my brother when he said a curse word, but it didn't happen a lot.

I have a really hard time saying “horror”

Lol don't worry I say Horror like that too.
