@@dardanik I was just as confused as you are, trust me, but I think the idea behind it is supposed to be Vegeta's impulse to fight (being a Saiyan) and compulsion to "do good deeds" after his reformation. It's very much a Buu Saga Vegeta song. (That's my TL;DR; below is my analysis if you're interested in that) Maybe at first you might think "We’ll find a treasure chest of courage by the dawn!" is so ridiculously non-Vegeta like, but if you think of it, we've seen in recent years that Vegeta is most certainly not above that kind of shenanigans-think of the kind of stuff he puts himself through in the BoG arc, for the sake of others. Lines like "Get a bit more serious!" "Saying you're scared is a sad joke" "We will be victorious, for we’re not ordinary folk"*, are definitely Vegeta-like in fashion, but it's still him encouraging someone to do better and surpass their situation, keeping to Vegeta's new perspective on what it means to care for others. So, those parts of the song are supposed to be that softer, hidden side of him that developed as he grew to love the people on Earth. (Plus when you look at the two other image songs he has, "Vegeta's Cooking Hell" and "Cool Cool Dandy", they have that equally sort of ridiculous vibe, so I guess that's a theme they were going for). Now consider the main lyric of the song: "Janjaka My Way" or "Forever My Way" as damkylan put it so wonderfully :) But I don't think you can get more Vegeta than that. It's a show of his stubborness in trying to be the best person possible, which I would say is pretty accurate (especially if you've been reading the DBS manga recently ;) Point is he's always trying to be the best at what he does, and most importantly he'll do it the way he likes. Last thing. "I just can’t help it! / I just can’t stand it! / My burning heart roars with excitement!" and "Seize the ecstasy known to the victorious! / Don’t call me reckless! Just ‘cause I won’t stop!" is probably just the Saiyan battle drive at work, or maybe Vegeta's drive to be the best at doing good things (lol). I don't have any specific plans at the moment, but I am planning on doing more of the lesser known Hit Song Collection tracks like this one while also keeping in mind some more official tracks I haven't done yet, specifically ones from the original Dragon Ball. And of course, I keep requests in mind as well.
