I have visited Iceland before and I loved it. However your amazing videos make me feel like I haven’t really been there. Your videos make me want to return. Keep up the amazing work
This is the kind of stuff (All your content) that Travel Channel needs. Seems like everything thing they do is food food food and more food. Which, I don't mind...but maybe that's what the food network is for? Keep up the good work Gareth. I live vicariously through you. Aloha.
I've actually stayed at the first cabin you were at during the winter. Amazing northern lights there while I was there. Iceland is breathtaking. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Gareth, I've watched a few of your videos this evening. Your narrative and photography is always top-notch. This one sealed the deal. I can't wait to see more. I just subscribed! Darryl
I'm RUclips-ing Iceland and came across this video. Ahhh! ICELAND looked truly incredible! Your shots and adventures convinced me even more to come see it. I can't wait! And I love your choice of music and funny BTS, btw! Keep it up! ;)
Yo Gareth I have just discovered U and Ur first videos about this beautiful country Iceland. U made me want to go and visit Iceland but now let me visit it by Ur vids. U and Ur friend are amazing as well. I Hope Both of u will be in the other vids. Have a good Time any place u are and Take care. Sweet hugs from Tahiti in French Polynesia ❤❤
The view of the mountain at about :39 with its green shading, above the hilly outcrop that's green only in patches contrasted with the reddish foreground...beautifully done, Gareth. Especially with the greenish road drawing us toward the mountain through the red of the lowland. This is art. And the brief shot of the horses at :44 against what Thomas Mann called the misty inane.... Just two small examples of how you search out beauty.
Hopefully you find love?? Wasn’t Steve enough? Haha. Loving the beard on you dude, def keep it. Also I love how big you smile when starting an adventure. Shows you really love what you do and aren’t putting on a face for the camera. Good work, enjoying every video so far 👍🏼
Hey Gareth, I´m super happy to have come across your Road Trip adventure through Iceland. My wife and I will be there in a week but only for 5 day so obviously it´ll be our first visit - I guess... Anyway just wondering .... The Hengifoss waterfall is northwest of Djupivogur and you are showing this part after the diamond beach, the awesome glacier and after Höfn further south.... Don´t quite get your drive... Nevertheless... stunning stuff and thank you so much for great inspiration for the places we will visit. Cheers :)
I spent 18 months in Iceland at the USAF Air Base at Keflavik in the 1957-1958 years. Back then the Northern Lights weren't much to see.....unfortunately. They hardly ever happened, and were not so great. Things are a lot different now. There were very few trees, not a lot of grass or bushes. UNfortunately, it was difficult to get an "Off base pass" as i only got one and it was for 4 hours. Not much time to do-see anything. IF you can afford it, i say "go go go" and you will never regret it. It's fantastic. I should have retired there.
It seems you guys are fun to watch with bloopers.. Gareth bring him to the Philippines if you plan your season 2.. its nice to see you have partner in crime .. sorry I mean adventure.. it will be awsome. cheers!
Hello. Sorry, I'm confused. I was watching by episodes and when I got to this video, I was thrown off. You were north / west then here you are south? Just wondering because I was building my itinerary from you videos. I love it but still kind of confused.
Gareth Leonard Try to come in winter because Indian climate is really hot. North India (specially delhi) z full of touts, be careful. Keep atleast 2 months in hand. You should visit these states - Kerala West Bengal Sikkim Goa Uttrakhand Himachal Pradesh Rajasthan
Superb Video, nice detailing... I m also planning to go to Iceland in Feb 2019 from India, can u guide me about expenses...rented car...homestay and guide... Like what is the minimum budget I need for almost 12 days trip and which one is the best place to see northern lights
please be careful when travelling on the moss to not disturb it, it can take decades for it to grow back and the music video was generally disliked by Icelanders because he clearly disturbed the delicate moss growing in the area and we knew that video would bring copycats disturbing it further
What a great way to start my morning; beautiful scenery and two happy smiling faces to put a positive spin on the day. Thanks to both of you!
Thank you for watching Gary, we both really appreciate it!
