This figure might be the most accurate GvK Godzilla figure till date. 100 out of 10 for me on this one. WOW!.
Not just GVK, but for KOTM as well.

@@kajiubeast181 I agree. Since Hiya Toys is making Mothra, Rodan, and Kong, they should make King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, MUTOs, Jinshin Mushi, Behemoth ,Scylla, Methusula, and the Queen Muto we see in KOTM.

It's weird that people don't like the neck when it's so much better than the Monsterarts, at least aesthetically. The joints overlap in a way that looks like scales, rather than the 'turtle neck' of the SHMA version. Can't wait to get this guy in hand, looks like the definitive Legendary Godzilla for me
They've made new versions with even better neck. Reg and atomic versions. Neck looks smooth.
Sh has now applied the same positioning their evolved Godzilla.
If Hiya were to be able to also do classic Toho designs, SHMA would be done for.

the hiya godzilla doesn't have as much articulation as the S.H. but atleast it doesnt have a derpy jaw and derpy eyes like the whole entire S.H. line

@@Draco_editz2 He's thorough, as in he has very in-depth and detailed reviews. He explores every aspect of these figures and finds things that many people might miss. I've seen a couple of other reviews that missed the hidden hinge joint in the neck.

I was impressed when I saw the promo pictures. A little less when I saw the figure in reviews but damn it is still impressive! Only regret is that it doesn't come with any accessories or beam affects but considering that this is their first Godzilla and the upcoming Kong is going to come with a lot of accessories, I give them a pass on that. That's not to say that there doesn't appear to be any room for improvement in the future for pose-ability or covering up gaps but I say that they're off to a good start, and if they keep up the pace and their affordable prices, SH and Bandai better watch out.
As far as this scale of figure goes, this is the most accurate. A lot of figures in this scale have him look to narrow in the chest and the legs are just a bit too thin I imagine to have better articutation, but it just makes him look smaller. Hiya really did a great job catching the accuracy of Godzilla here.

I love this figure the only mini complaints would be the plug and the odd gaps in the neck. As stated can be corrected I can't wait to see what else they make after the 3 others that are coming.
I was looking on Hiya's site and found that they also have a 2021 Kong figure to go with 2021 Godzilla!

Hiya Toys made what is essentially the mixture of the accuracy of Neca and the posability of Monsterarts at a much cheaper price.
Great review and also that this figure got that STR state of approval. Now, is waiting for that notification from BBTS and get this guy into my collection asap.
Are you telling me that BBTS still does not release it?, or old I've been waiting a long time for it to be reaching other people to order mine too.
@@zonan1805 What I've seen he'll be release the fourth quarter of this year...in layman's terms sometime between this month and December. Or other times BBTS will let you know via email notification about it being in stock.

hiya toys did a good job on the figure but people complain about the neck and just like you said "adjust the position that the figure is posed in"

This is no doubt the best all around & bargain legendary godzilla figure. But for me I do crave a bit more articulation in my figures which the shma 2019 godzilla delivers a little bit better than this guy. Plus that one also comes with a breath effect part that I really like.

Still not a fan of that neck, even after positioning it correctly, it looks too segmented to me. Having said that, I very much welcome the existence of this figure in the market: for the price, it's a solid release. I'm looking forward to Hiya toys working on more Godzillas from different eras I might be more fond of. I also wonder if japanese online stores will stock this one or if it's out of the question because it clearly rivals the monsterarts line at a much more reasonable asking price.
Could we get a figure fight with this going up against the Neca and MonsterArts figures?
I think this looks better than the sham figure and far better than the neca however by the rules of the videos

@@happymoomoocow as someone who owns the 2019 as part of my grand total of...3 monsterarts that one seems to have some limitations this one doesnt have. The biggest knock om this figure is that AWFUL neck design and the jaw pin.

That made me laugh so hard!
Honestly I find this figure slightly overrated because while the sculpt is great, those Dame neck parts are just bad. I mean if Monsterarts did this, people would be attacking Bandai right away. Also I know alot of people are now saying that the Monsterarts version isn't movie accurate but here is the thing, back when the 2019 and 2021 sh monsterarts figures came out, everyone was saying it was very movie accurate and now people are saying that it isn't.
