I just fell to temptation today and I prayed to God and apologized for falling again. I want to repent and remove this from my life but I know that he will break me free from lust. This is exactly what I'm going through, this is what I needed to hear. It gave me true knowledge, no matter how much we try to overcome our greatest sin, it will always come back. They say sin is patience, it will wait for the right moment. When you think it's gone, you'll fall right back into it. The worst part is going through with it, allowing it to become a reality. Instead of turning away, we follow the path that leads to that sin.

Idk if it makes you guys who are celibate feel any better, but sex is not that big of a deal. It's love. Love is what matters. I once loved someone enough that I wanted to be a part of them. I wanted them to feel me, and me to feel them, I wanted our hearts to beat as one, to let go of all individualism and intertwine with them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. That's what love is. I did not have sex with anyone until I felt that way because without that feeling, sex doesn't matter. Something I thought about is how feelings/thoughts can overwhelm or replace other feelings. Like how sadness drowns the fires of rage. I think about literally fighting someone in my head, and it replaces my feelings of lust. It's like this thing I read in a book. It talked about the sentence "Do no think about a blue polar bear". By reading that you have already failed because your mind has to know what to not think of, but when your mind knows what not to think of.. it has already failed. I myself have struggled, i was constantly focusing on not lusting and i relapsed more times than id like to admit. But then i started focusing on Jesus Christ our lord and savior, praying to our father and slowly i forgot about lust. I have a girlfriend almost 2 years now. This is exactly what I'm going through, this is what I needed to hear. It gave me true knowledge, no matter how much we try to overcome our greatest sin, it will always come back. They say sin is patience, it will wait for the right moment. When you think it's gone, you'll fall right back into it. The worst part is going through with it, allowing it to become a reality. Instead of turning away, we follow the path that leads to that sin.

Idk if it makes you guys who are celibate feel any better, but sex is not that big of a deal. It's love. Love is what matters. I once loved someone enough that I wanted to be a part of them. I wanted them to feel me, and me to feel them, I wanted our hearts to beat as one, to let go of all individualism and intertwine with them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. That's what love is. I did not have sex with anyone until I felt that way because without that feeling, sex doesn't matter. It's like this thing I read in a book. It talked about the sentence "Do no think about a blue polar bear". By reading that you have already failed because your mind has to know what to not think of, but when your mind knows what not to think of.. it has already failed. So it's almost the same here where if you think about not wanting to lust you will think about lust and what it implies. The book was The Art of Reading Minds by Henrik Fexeus. Great book.
